Safaree Samuels continues to embrace the struggle. The reality star, and Nicki Minaj’s ex, show up late to the Love & Hip Hop: New York reunion taping in Atlanta, and of course it was dramatic. Reports TMZ : Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Safaree was supposed to appear in Atlanta Wednesday to shoot the ‘LHH’ show. We’re told last Friday he was committed to do the special — but he had a change of heart on Monday — backing out due to what he called safety and mental health concerns. Our sources say VH1’s parent company, Viacom, promised Safaree they’d put necessary measures in place to make sure he felt safe — including additional security if a fight broke out — but he wouldn’t budge. The former host of BET’s 106 & Park and current Extra host ( though currently suspended ) has been accused of sexual assault by six different women. Calloway’s accusers have spoken out in a new story from The Hollywood Reporter . So far, six women have come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct and assault. Last year, writer Sil Lai Abrams accused Calloway of groping him, and he was even arrested. However, the case was dismissed on procedural grounds (Calloway maintained his innocence). Reading Abrams’ account inspired Jeannie Delgado, who works in the aviation industry, to reveal that Calloway allegedly raped her in 2009. She claims that after Calloway offered her to stay overnight in a guest room in his home he raped her. “I thought it was not a big deal,” says Delgado, who works in the aviation industry. “I’m thinking this is the guest room. It turned out to be his bedroom. He closed the door behind him. He basically closed the door, locked it and tried to kiss me. I was like, ‘No, no, no.’ Then he went for my pants. He flipped me over, grabbed my hands, held them behind my back.” Holding both her hands in one of his, she says, he used his free hand to pull off her pants. “I’m 5-foot-2, 110 pounds,” she says. “He’s 6-foot-4, and I don’t know how much he weighs. He proceeded to rape me. When I tried to get up, he pulled me back down and bear-hugged me. That was for hours. I lay there crying the whole time. When the sun came up, he raped me again.” (Calloway, via an attorney, denies all allegations of misconduct.) Other accusers include two women, Nancy and Daisy, who didn’t want to use their real names and another woman who chose to remain unnamed. Perhaps the most heinous detail of their stories is that Calloway did not use condoms during the alleged sexual assault. Calloway has denied all the allegations via his lawyer. “These allegations are completely false,” said his attorney Lisa E. Davis. “Mr. Calloway has never sexually assaulted anyone and is devastated that he is being falsely accused of such terrible conduct. Throughout his career, Mr. Calloway has been a tireless advocate for community empowerment and equality and justice for all people regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation or gender expression.” Calloway was suspended from Extra after word got out that The Hollywood Reporter was preparing to publish their story. — Photo: Getty

Now, according to recent Grammy party pics , Chyna seems to be spending some quality time with Soulja Boy. Which, from a rational perspective, feels like… Why. But from a Blac Chyna perspective, it doesn’t feel strange at all. As a matter of fact, the two could probably be the poster couple for strange love. Soulja Boy recently made headlines for his dramatic visit to The Breakfast Club where he proclaimed his influence on music culture and especially Drake. Though there was some truth to his proclamations, his eccentric delivery made him go viral, almost to the point where it seemed like he planned the whole thing. Him and Blac Chyna could be a match made in heaven. Blac Chyna continually keeps herself in the headlines, sometimes for good reason, such as her revenge porn fiasco with Rob Kardashian . But then other times, you really have to think… This story is so bizarre, Chyna has to be seeking attention (or crying for help), like when Chyna promoted skin-lightening cream in Nigeria. Bill Cosby is having an “amazing experience” in prison apparently With recent talks about mass incarceration and prison reform, many folks across the country are having deep conversations about what justice looks like. Bill Cosby ‘s experience in prison is sure to stir the pot, especially since his lawyer, Andrew Wyatt , says Cosby is having an “amazing experience” behind bars. Wyatt spoke to WCAU-TV about Cosby’s time in maximum security at a facility near Philly. Cosby is serving up to ten years after being convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand back in 2004. Wyatt said Cosby has high spirits while in prison, and he’s even talking to other inmates and encouraging them. “Despite the circumstances, he said, ‘This is an amazing experience,’” Wyatt said. “Mr. Cosby had prepared himself… He’s mentally strong. He’s just a strong man.” Wyatt and Cosby even maintained his innocence amidst sexual assault accusations from over 50 women. “When I visit him, it’s nothing sad about it,” Wyatt said. “He’s not sad. He’s not remorseful because he did nothing wrong.” Cosby’s “amazing experience” brings to question whether the women accusing him of rape really got the justice they needed. It’s a peculiar thought that might not have an answer right now, but one thing’s for certain… The strange times don’t stop.
Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin have gone back and forth quite a lot over the years. Heck, the former couple went back and forth even when they were married, as often captured by TLC cameras for the painful reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8. But newly-obtained legal documents prove that Jon has taken this never-ending feud to a new, very disturbing level. As previously detailed, Jon now has temporary custody of 14-year old son Collin. He earned this right in December after Kate failed to show up at a court hearing , thereby failing to officially respond to Jon’s official request for Collin to reside under his roof. (This sextuplet had spent the previous two years at a school for special needs children.) In the time since, Jon has shared a number of social media photos of himself and Collin, along with himself and daughter Hannah, who still technically “belongs” to Kate — but who has been living with her dad for about a year. Kate, for her part, has remained almost entirely silent on the issue. However, Radar Online has now published the court records submitted by Jon’s legal team in October, the ones that eventually led to a judge placing Collin in his father’s care. And these records paint Kate in an awful light, accusing her of actually being a danger to young Collin. “It would not be in the best interests of the minor child…to have independent time with mother or to have mother share legal custody of the minor child,” the documents state. For what reason? “Because mother has not cooperated with the child’s treatment and is a ‘trigger’ for the minor child,” Jon’s legal team claimed last fall. In the filing, Gosselin requested temporary sole legal and physical custody of Collin, which is exactly what he was granted. But that’s pretty crazy, right? Jon is saying that Kate has actively damaged her own child. She’s the one who has said on record here and there that Collin has “special needs,” which is why he’s been away from his family while receiving professional assistance for these unknown needs. Jon, conversely, clapped back against this assertion in December. “He is not on any spectrum or special needs,” Jon said simply, taking a clear shot at his ex-wife in the process. In 2016, Kate had alleged the opposite, telling People Magazine: “Collin has special needs. [There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. “This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. I’ve felt very alone in this.” We’re wading into very sensitive territory here, broaching the topic of a 14-year old boy’s mental health and/or learning disabilities. We don’t wish to speculate or gossip about such a difficult subject. Our main point here instead is to show just how unfortunate a situation he and his seven siblings are in, having to live with parents who continue to fight in both public and legal fashion. What could Jon possibly mean when he says Kate serves as a “trigger” for Collin?!? Kate, as we said previously, has not commented on any of Jon’s remarks regarding Collin, with whom Jon claims his ex spends no time at all . But she did speak to journalists this week about her upcoming dating show, which will feature her trying to find love and also feature her 18-year old daughters, Mady and Cara. Is it really a great idea to have her children on TV with her again? Yes, Kate believes. “I feel like, more than anything, [being on TV] has enriched their lives,” she told members of the press on Tuesday, expounding as follows: “It has made them world-wise and taught them a lot about people’s intentions I think more so than other kids their age… “They are very intelligent and informed, and I don’t worry about that, because we started this when they were very young… “Ydou always want to do the best for your kids, and I did it in a way that, you know, we live our real lives and that’s filmed… “And they’ve turned out great, and they are very, very supportive of this, and it’s opened up so many opportunities for our family. “And, so, it’s been great. It’s been, essentially, a family business and it’s allowed me to work with my kids kind of in and out of frame. “Everything has goods and bads … The goods overwhelmingly outweigh the bads.”
Celebrity Big Brother crowned a winner on Wednesday night’s two-hour season finale. At the top of the episode, we had the second to last HOH competition, and Ricky realized it was time for him to start winning things. He opted to put Kandi and Dina on the block after complaining that both women would not hesitate to take him out of the house. The dude had never watch Big Brother before because he was all about people doing whatever he told them to. Tamar was quick to tell Kandi that she needed to win the veto competition or she was likely toast. Lolo won the veto and during the live telecast decided to leave the nominations the same. With Ricky and Tamar being her only allies, this was the best course of action. During the live eviction, Lolo decided to evict Kandi, while Tamar went with Dina. This was to force a 1-1 tie. Ricky sent Kandi packing. That left us with the final four, and the final HOH competition of the season. Round 1: Everyone gets a point Round 2: Ricky & Tamar get a point Round 3: Lolo, Ricky, & Tamar get a point Round 4: Lolo, Ricky, & Tamar get a point Round 5: Lolo, Ricky, & Tamar get a point Round 6: Ricky gets a point Round 7: Lolo & Tamar get a point Tiebreaker: Final HOH is Ricky! Winning two back-to-back HOH competition was a big move, but Ricky had to evict two houseguests on the spot. Ricky decided that Tamar was his best option, sending Dina and Lolo packing ahead of the final vote. Dina took it well, because, well, she won zero competitions in the house. Lolo on the other hand, well, she was pissed! “Fifty thousand dollars, after he gets second [place] — after taxes and his agent’s fee, it’s really not much,” Lolo complained to Julie. If anything, this solidified the fact that Lolo is not a team player. Her attitude throughout the game has rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way. The funniest part of her being out the house was putting her hand up for Ryan Lochte to hit it. It was like she forgot the way she treated him. She flipped the bird at him, cussed at him, and told numerous lies. Her behavior was bizarre. As previously reported, Antonella Barba was arrested in October on drug charges. Upon inital intel gathering, this crime seemed serious enough, as the former American Idol sensation was charged with a felony due to allegedly carrying over 100 grams of heroin. Yikes, right? But here’s the thing: It turns out the possible crime was actually far worse. According to newly unsealed court documents, Barba is accused of acting as a courier for a major drug ring when Virginia authorities arrested her nearly four months ago with two pounds of fentanyl. Yes, two pounds. While that figure may not be very high when pounds are typically used to measure something… trust us. That is simply a f-ck ton of fentanyl. (Fentanyl is a pain reliever for which one needs a prescription for legal use; it can cause respiratory distress and death when taken in high doses or when combined with other substances, especially alcohol. Prince, for example, died with high levels of fentanyl in his system .) Barba was indicted last week on 11 federal charges, including: – One count of conspiracy to distribute and possess cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl with the intent to distribute. – 10 counts of distribution or possession of cocaine, heroin and fentanyl with the intent to distribute. As of this writing, the ex-artist remains in police custody and will be held until at least Thursday, when she’s set to appear in court for a detention hearing. Barba advanced to the Top 16 of American Idol in 2007. She made headlines over a decade ago not just for her voice, but also because a bunch of explicit photos of the brunette emerged and circulated online while she battled for the title that eventually went to Jordin Sparks. For example, Barba gained notoriety for posing in a wet t-shirt in the fountain of the World War II Memorial in D.C. We aren’t about to post these X-rated images here, but she also allegedly was snapped while she giving someone oral sex. And it sounds like things haven’t improved a ton for the New Jersey native. The heavily-redacted indictment alleges that Barba was one of many members of a drug conspiracy that was active in Hampton Roads between late 2017 and the fall of 2018. This document states that Barba was delivering approximately 830 grams of fentanyl when she was arrested the morning of October 11. In 2012, Barba appeared on an episode of Fear Factor. She, along with a multitude other former American Idol stars, also participated in a “We Are the World” parody on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in May of last year. We hope she finds a way to turn her life around.
Shocking news out of the music world today, as celebrated singer/songwriter Ryan Adams has been accused of sexual misconduct by several female artists, including his ex-wife, Mandy Moore. In a scathing report published today by the New York Times , Moore and six other women detailed sexual and psychological abuse they allegedly endured at Adams’ hands. Moore — who was married to Adams for six years before filing for divorce in 2015 — says that Adams took advantage of her career aspirations and her youth (she was 23 when they met; Adams was 10 years her senior) in order to manipulate her and engage in years of “psychologically abusive” behavior. “His controlling behavior essentially did block my ability to make new connections in the industry during a very pivotal and potentially lucrative time — my entire mid-to-late 20s,” Moore told the Times . “What you experience with him — the treatment, the destructive, manic sort of back and forth behavior — feels so exclusive,” she added. “You feel like there’s no way other people have been treated like this.” “Music was a point of control for him,” Moore said. Singer Phoebe Bridgers recounted a similar situation, in which — as with Moore — Adams plied her with the promise of career opportunities before making his sexual intentions clear. Bridgers says that despite some concerns about his behavior, she accepted an opportunity to open for Adams on tour, but quickly regretted it. “The first day, he asked me to bring him something in his hotel room,” she told the Times. “I came upstairs and he was completely nude.” But perhaps the most shocking account comes from an aspiring musician identified only as Ava, who says Adams began sending her nude photos and other sexually explicit material when she was just 14 years old. “If people knew they would say I was like R Kelley [sic] lol,” Adams messaged her at one point. Through a statement from his attorney, Adams denies any wrongdoing: “Mr. Adams unequivocally denies that he ever engaged in inappropriate online sexual communications with someone he knew was underage,” Adams’ lawyer told the Times , adding, “if, in fact, this woman was underage, Mr. Adams was unaware.” On Twitter, Adams’ tone quickly shifted from combative to apologetic. Before the story broke, he posted a photo of the Times logo with a caption reading: “Fuck you. You are kitty litter. Happy Valentine’s Day.” He also replied to one tweet before the story’s publication: “Run your smear piece. But the leagel [sic] eagles see you. Rats. I’m fucking taking you down.” After the story broke, Adams expressed remorse, while at the same time, denying most of the allegations against him. “I am not a perfect man and I have made many mistakes,” he tweeted. “To anyone I have ever hurt, however unintentionally, I apologize deeply and unreservedly. “But the picture that this article paints is upsettingly inaccurate. Some of its details are misrepresented; some are exaggerated; some are outright false,” he added. “I would never have inappropriate interactions with someone I thought was underage. Period. “As someone who has always tried to spread joy through my music and my life, hearing that some people believe I caused them pain saddens me greatly,” he added. “I am resolved to work to be the best man I can be. And I wish everyone compassion, understanding and healing,” Adams concluded. We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.
