The 31-year old singer recently spoke to The Shade Room about the highly anticipated tour and how he feels about not being apart of it: “No one reached out to me. No one reached out to my management. So I have to believe that they feel a way about the new success and love that I’m getting. Like intimidated. I love everybody, I’m all about peace, light and love. I think that they see the resurrection of my career and how organic it is. And I’m a hard act to go before and after.” Okay den! Do you think Sammie has a point?

In an interview the star point guard was asked how he’s spending his time while nursing an achilles injury, he mentioned that he was not only spending time with his infant son but also caring for his mother, Frances Pulley, who has been battling cancer. Wall is extremely close to his mother, so we know its tough. But prayers up and we’re wishing her a speedy recovery.
It’s been five weeks since Mike Sorrentino reported to prison to begin serving an 8-month sentence on tax fraud charges. While Mike doesn’t deny that he’s guilty, his imprisonment is still a heartbreaking development for many, particularly given the ways in which he’s turned his life around over the course of the past two years. Fortunately, Mike recorded a wealth of video content before beginning his sentence, and his life, Lauren Pesce, is now releasing it gradually on the couple’s new YouTube channel, titled, of course, The Situations . The biggest of Mike’s many life changes has been putting his hard-partying past behind him. Sorrentino has been sober for almost three years, and admirably, he’s been using his experiences with addiction and recovery to help others beat their demons and step into the light. Mike Sorrentino: The Sober Situation In the video above, Mike opens up about his struggles and pays a holiday visit to a sober house. At the time the video was shot, Mike had already been sentenced and knew that he was just weeks away from beginning his sentence. So this wasn’t an attempt to butter up the sentencing judge — it’s just Mike trying to pay it forward as an expression of gratitude. “I was known to be, ya know, one of the bigger partiers on Jersey Shore, so I had to think in my brain, ‘how was I going to contribute to the show if it even gets popular?’ You don’t even know if people are going to watch the show again,” Mike says about the recent Shore reboot. “So, I just said to myself ‘I’m going to have to continue to challenge myself in my recovery,’” he adds. “My base was two years sober, I had the sponsor, I had a good support system at home with my wife.” Asked about his plans for the future, Mike reveals that he’s not letting prison slow down his career momentum. “It’s all about mindset,” Mike says of his time behind bars. “I’m going to try to better myself by reading more, I’m going write a book.” He also reveals in the clip that a third season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation has already been filmed and will feature footage of his wedding to Lauren. “We’re so excited to have a second chance and we’re doing the most with it,” Sorrentino says at one point. Mike’s release date is currently set for September, but with good behavior, he could be bound for a halfway house in just 3-4 months. The Rewind Ep. 29 We’re back with another episode of “The Rewind!” The “Family Guy” Landon Levarius and “The Bully” DJ Franchise are giving you their unfiltered hot topic opinions. This time they’re debating M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass.” The James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson thriller didn’t get the best reviews, but for some reason, DJ Franchise loved it. The “I gave this a solid 8, there’s a lot of things that I enjoyed about this movie,” said DJ Franchise. “Sarah Paulson who plays in “American Horror Story, she’s sick in this movie.” Landon, however, isn’t pleased and gives it a 5. They then move on to Killer Mike’s Netflix series “Trigger Warning.” The show follows Mike as he usees his revolutionary and sometimes controversial ideas to explore cultural taboos. It’s insightful and fun and Landon LOVES it. He gives it a 9. “Of course I love this series,” says Landon.”I thought it was moving the culture forward.” Franchise, however, gives it a 5 and points out that Mike isn’t staying true to his “black-owned” message by not wearing black made clothing brands. According to The Inquirer , Matthew Aimers was arrested in Bucks County for sexually assaulting an underage girl. The incident reportedly went down at Aimers’ wedding reception. According to the affidavit of probable cause for arrest, Aimers, 31, approached an underage waitress at the Northampton Valley Country Club. He told the girl the two of them could “do whatever you want.” The waitress told the police she rejected Aimers’ advances, saying the interaction left her shaken. Aimers didn’t stop with his pursuits though. According to the affidavit, he followed the waitress into the women’s bathroom and pulled her into a stall that was empty. It was here that he sexually assaulted her and exposed himself, according to the waitress. When the girl tried to escape Aimers, he continued “to proposition her” and at one point, he offered her $100, according to the affidavit. The waitress was eventually able to break free and leave the bathroom. Hours later, as the reception was coming to an end, the Northampton Township police were called to the country club to address reports of a fight. When the cops arrived, they encountered Aimers “pushing and punching people,” according to an affidavit filed in that case. A country club employee told officers that the groom had punched him after he tried to prevent him from bringing alcohol outside. With the cops arrival, Aimers attempted to board a shuttle bus parked near the country club, and he ignored the police’s commands to stop, said the affidavit. That’s when one of the cops boarded the bus with his taser drawn, and he ordered Aimers to leave. However, Aimers kept arguing with the officer, calling him derogatory names and at one point, he even tried to provoke him with a fight, read the affidavit. When Aimers finally left the bus, he was taken into custody after a short struggle with the cops. Aimers was booked on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. For his reported run-in with the teen waitress, Aimers was charged with indecent assault, indecent exposure, imprisonment of a minor, harassment, and related offenses. Aimers was released from custody on Wednesday after posting 10 percent of $350,000 bail, according to court records. He faces a preliminary hearing for the sexual assault charges on February 21. On Thursday, his attorney Louis Busico said that Aimers “absolutely denies all charges.”
2018 was a huge year for animated films with flicks like Incredibles 2 and Ralph Breaks The Internet. Come to think about it, it was a big year for sequels as well. 2019 seems to be picking up where last year left off, but with a bang. The Lego Movie 2 hit theaters this week, and just like it’s predecessor which was released in 2014, The Second Part was chock full of stars. Chris Pratt , Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett are back to reprise their roles as Emmet, Lucy and Batman. But this time around, the gang has to defend their beloved Bricksburg from Duplo invaders who have turned the town into a post-apocalyptic wasteland named Apocalypseburg. After General Sweet Mayhem, the leader of the Duplo army (played by Stephanie Beatriz) kidnaps Batman, Lucy, Benny, Metalbeard, Unikitty and takes them to the Systar system, Batman is taken to Queen Wa’Nabi where he find out that she helps satisfy his emotional validation. The others are placed in environments design to tempt them, and they each fall for these temptations, except Master Builder Lucy. Once again, it’s up to Emmet Brickowski to save his friends and get his town back to normal. And speaking of Queen Watevera Wa’Nabi — who better to voice the shape-shifting alien Queen of the Systar System than Queen Tiffany Haddish . On this episode of Extra Butter, we sat with the cast the adventure comedy as they dished on all things Lego Movie 2. They even spilled a little relationship advice on baed on Lucy and Emmet’s interesting relationship. Should push people to their potential, or just love them as they are? Elizabeth told us, “I do think you want people to grow and evolve a little bit and shake them out of a routine that they can’t even perceive. I think we all get stuck in those things. It often takes an outsider or another view on it to sort of shake you out of what you’re doing. But at the same time, I don’t think Lucy wanted [Emmet] to change, I think Lucy wanted Emmet to explore another side of himself. And he does that work in then film, then comes to his own conclusion about what is authentic to him. And I think that’s what we’re all striving for.” The cool cast sure knows a thing or two about being authentic — especially Tiffany Haddish.
