Lala Kent: James Kennedy Is the Worst & His Girlfriend Is a Dumbass

Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy is a strong contender for the very worst person to ever appear on a reality TV show. Hear us out on this one: Sure, pre-sobriety Mike Sorrentino engaged in some deplorable behavior. And Jenelle Evans continues to make the world wonder how she still has custody of any of her kids. Hell, you could even make an argument for Kennedy’s castmate Jax Taylor being the biggest POS that’s ever gained fame on basic cable. But to our minds, no one has combined abusive behavior, constant self-pity, unchecked addiction, and rampant infidelity quite like James Kennedy. Fortunately, the Vanderpump cast has become fully fed up with James’ douchiness, including his former friend and apologist Lala Kent. For a long time, James manipulated Lala into believing that she needed him. (Apparently, Kennedy was instrumental in helping her to land her gig on the show.) This is a tactic that’s common to abusers, and fortunately, Lala now sees James for what he is. Sadly, Kennedy’s girlfriend, Raquel Leviss, is still under his spell. This, despite a mountain of evidence that James is cheating on Raquel with any warm body in his vicinity. “I don’t know that I feel badly for her anymore because … it’s like seeing the murder scene and still needing more evidence,” Lala recently told Us Weekly . “It’s like, ‘OK, girl, I can’t even deal.’ Like, you’re killing my brain cells at this point, and I don’t have a lot of those to lose!” Like Stassi Schroeder, Lala is a fan favorite because she’s aware that self-deprecation and likability often go hand-in-hand. The brain cells remark might be a reference to the fact that Kent spent a good number of years boozing and blazing with the rest of the SUR staff before getting sober in October. In speaking with Us Weekly , Kent also jokes that Raquel appears to not be the sharpest tool in the shed — and that’s exactly what Kennedy likes about her. “He is drawn to that because he can get away with everything,” Lala told the tabloid. It’s a sad situation, and it seems that Kristen Doute remains committed to helping Raquel see the truth. But for now, at least, Lala won’t be participating in that mission: “That’s like a dead horse, I wanna let the horse rest in peace,” Lala said. It’s an unusual stance for the star of a reality show that thrives on drama, but like most of the rest of the Vanderpump cast, Lala is growing up. Here’s hoping James can one day join them in that. I can remember coming home from school and hearing the afternoon rush hour reports on the radio, hearing my parents make plans to go places around the traffic, or actually sitting in the traffic and observing the delays, horn honking and subtle road rage. I would often think and wonder to myself, “Just what is it that causes Atlanta to have the level of traffic that it does? Is it specific to “bad drivers”? Email Submit One could venture to expand on the thought of “bad drivers” as a major source of Atlanta’s traffic woes. During the morning and afternoon rush hour reports, we hear of car crashes that tie up or even shut down highways for extended amounts of time; which can be caused by careless drivers that are either attached to their mobile devices or in such a rush to get from Point A to Point B. As a result, instead of the ride home attempting to be a happy moment after a long day at work, it turns into the Atlanta Motor Speedway, which can have some damaging effects on those trying to get home and those involved. Source: Jeff Greenberg / Getty Another could venture to speak on the lack of highway infrastructure that Atlanta fails to have. 30 years ago, having the 7 major highways that we currently have would be feasible and necessary. After all, company headquarters and the entertainment industry had not quite set their sights on Atlanta. But within the last ten years, Atlanta has grown tremendously, while adopting the slogan and meme that is seen on social media, “We are FULL!” As a result, new residences are being built daily to accommodate the influx of transplant residents that have visited one time and want to make this their permanent home. While Atlanta is primarily affected, suburbs such as Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Snellville and even Conyers are feeling and reeling the effects of the traffic woes. The Latest Music, Celebrities and Interviews: Simply put, Atlanta has identified that traffic is a major, yet horrible thorn in our sides. There are many factors that add to this demise, but ultimately, there has to be a solid solution that can benefit the city as well as the residents and visitors. Sure, adding express and reverse lanes can lessen the blow, but does it really help? Is a person willing to pay rates just to get home faster, or save that money for another cause? After all, if everyone jumps on board with the express lanes, you create another traffic jam and there goes the idea of lighter traffic! Riding the transit buses, MARTA, carpooling, or even telecommuting doesn’t begin to scratch or solve the true issue; and that is that Atlanta needs to invest and establish more highways and roadways to offset and accommodate the growth that has started and will continue for years to come. Until the powers that be realize and understand, Atlanta will continue to experience highway headaches and woes that can simply be solved by upgrading and expanding the infrastructure that we currently have while continuing to make Atlanta an attractive place to live, visit and work. Sigh. Well, folks, the “maybe Ryan Edwards isn't such a terrible guy, after all” narrative was fun while it lasted. As you probably know, Ryan got out of rehab last month after completing a 90-day course of treatment. Those closest to the troubled Teen Mom OG star claimed he'd changed his ways, but it looks as though he's already fallen back into his old habits. Earlier this week, we learned that Ryan is once again using Tinder to try and cheat on Mackenzie Standifer . And according to new screenshots obtained by Radar Online, he's off the wagon and looking to get high with some of his hookup partners. Here's what we know about this sad situation so far:   1. A Familiar Pattern This isn’t the first time that Ryan checked into rehab, emerged triumphant, and immediately went back to his old ways. 2. Ryan’s Hope Family and friends had hoped this time would be different. It was the longest Edwards had ever remained in treatment, and his wife recently gave birth to a baby boy. 3. Squandered Potential They hoped sobriety would make Ryan a better husband and father and keep him out of trouble with the law. 4. No Magic Bullet Sadly, rehab doesn’t always result in sobriety, and sobriety doesn’t always make former addicts more trustworthy or responsible. 5. A Troubled Man Obviously, Ryan’s heroin addiction and the legal problems that resulted from it are the biggest obstacles in his life — but he has a lot of other demons to conquer, as well. 6. Roger Mathews Tells Kids That Mommy is a Nutjob in Stunning 911 Call

Ever since his intense confrontation with estranged wife Jenni Farley last Thursday night, Roger Mathews has been telling folks that the truth will come out. That does appear to now be the case, but a question still remains for Mathews: Does this truth make him look like a good guy or a bad guy? Late last week, Mathews and Farley got into a heated debate about the Jersey Shore star once again having to be away from her family for work. This had reportedly been a significant reason why the couple fell into such a downward spiral over the past several months that JWOWW filed for divorce in September. After going back and forth with Farley in their New Jersey home, Mathews claimed he grew so annoyed by her threat to dial the police that he went ahead and called her bluff… … by actually calling them himself! Thanks to Radar Online, we now have evidence that Roger was telling the truth. He really was the person who called the authorities first — but he bashed the heck out of his wife in front of her children while doing so. In the 911 call obtained by Radar from the Tom’s River Police Department, Mathews explains the ongoing situation to a dispatcher, who says to someone at one point: “Him and his wife are getting divorced and they’re in the middle of getting divorced. She’s making up all kinds of stuff. She’s threatening to throw him out and call the cops.” Again, this is how Mathews has framed things from the beginning. Shortly after he was taken away by the police, Mathews filmed a series of Instagram videos in which he slammed Farley as being “hate-filled” and said she became “completely, uncontrollably emotional.” The thing is, this 911 call reveals that Mathews told his little kids the same thing. At another point in the conversation between Mathews and the operator, we can hear four-year old Meilani and two-year old Greyson screaming. To calm them down, or just to emphasize what he thinks is the cause of their distress, Mathews is heard telling the tykes: Mommy can’t control her emotions . Ouch, right? You’d hope, no matter how angry Mathews was at that moment, that he’d be mature and aware enough not to insult the mother of his young children to their faces. Alas. When the operator asked if there are firearms in the house, he replies: “There is but no one is doing anything. Registered firearms to me. It’s not on that level.” He says the fight is merely “verbal,” not physical. Later, Mathews tells the person on the other end of the 911 call: “She’s going to wait until I leave and call the police and make up some crazy story. I’m ensuring she cannot do that.” Again, from what we understand, this is exactly what transpired. Jenni Farley Home Surveillance Footage Mathews left the house after he placed his 911 call… JWOWW called the cops herself… she got a restraining order against her husband… and he was hauled off in a police cruiser upon his return home. It seems very possible that this timeline is accurate and that Mathews had been telling the broad truth all along about everything that transpired. Still, though. We don’t know what was said between the parties in their fight. And we do know that Mathews spent time with his son this weekend. Farley does not seem to be barring him from contact of any kind, despite Roger alleging otherwise. Elsewhere, he has changed his Instagram profile to read: “A humble father in the fight of his life for his children and greater good.” Something tell us we haven’t heard the last from Mathews on this subject. If you were on Twitter last week, you had a front-row seat for the appalling spectacle of a high-profile, unhinged lunatic railing against his enemies in the kind of tantrum one rarely finds outside of a pre-K classroom. But enough about President Donald John Trump; we’re here to talk about Kanye West’s feud with Drake . Come to think of it, “feud” might not be the right word for this situation, as the altercation was almost entirely one-sided. Kanye attacked his former friend for everything from making jokes about the sneakers he designs to allegedly contacting Kris Jenner on the sly. At one point, Kanye dragged Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Travis Scott, into the situation, alleging that Scott and Drake had filled their lyrics with subtle “sneak disses” directed at Kanye. “F–k that sickomode song Family first and always,” Kanye tweeted at one point, referring to a collaboration between Travis and Drake. Kim Kardashian defended her husband at one point, calling him “the most genius person that I know.” But for the most part, she kept her distance from the feud. Now, insiders are claiming that Kim was appalled by her husband’s outburst, and according to one source, she currently feels that “divorce is the only option.” Now, you might think that Kim would be used to Kanye’s outbursts by this point, as Yeezy takes to social media to boast that he’s off his meds about once a month. But this time is different for at least two reasons: For one thing, by dragging Travis into the fray, Kanye involved Kim’s family, and Kim is nothing if not protective of her sisters. (It’s one of those situations where she can talk as much smack as she wants, but outsiders better keep their mouths shut.) On top of that, Kim reportedly feels that by stirring up drama on social media, Kanye is threatening his family’s safety. “The more crap Kanye talks, the more and more Kim feels unsafe,” the source  tells Radar Online. It’s not hard to see why the mother of three might feel this way. After all, it’s only been two years since Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. And just last month, gunmen opened fire at the filming of a Tekashi69 music video , at a time when Kanye was rumored to be on set. Kanye wasn’t actually there at the time, and no one was injured, but we’re sure that this is all much more drama and violence than Kim would prefer in her life. “Kanye continues to throw Kim and her family into the fire and she is constantly getting threats and harassment,” the source continues. “It is just past the point of getting old and Kim is so fed up with all of this.” Obviously, Kim and Kanye divorce rumors are nothing new, but if anything would prompt Kim to pull the plug on her marriage, it would be the feeling that her husband is creating an unsafe environment for their children. Larissa Lima and Colt Johnson: Still Together and Still Awful!

After he was exposed as a cheater, Colt Johnson claimed that 90 Day Fiance fame went to his head and made him cheat. Now, Colt is publicly apologizing to his wife and condemning fans who rush to judge him. Meanwhile, Larissa is claiming that, despite her domestic battery arrests , she has never been abusive to Colt. Speaking to InTouch Weekly , Larissa Dos Santos Lima condemns claims that she was abusive to Colt. “I was not abusive to Colt,” Larissa insists. She refers to both her behavior on 90 Day Fiance and to her two domestic battery arrests. “Anything pointing otherwise is extremely edited or taken out of context,” she claims. It’s true that reality shows, 90 Day Fiance included, may edit out context. But are we to believe that police reports about them do the same? Despite the recent revelations about Colt’s rampant cheating on her with various Instagram women, Larissa isn’t giving up. “I love Colt,” Larissa insists. “And we have normal relationship troubles like any other couple.” For the record, some friction with Colt’s mom is normal. The cheating, the domestic battery arrests, and the toxic fighting are not . “I understand his actions,” Larissa says. “And I will forgive him.” Yikes. “A true relationship,” Larissa believes. “Is two imperfect people unwilling to give up on each other.” In one of the messages that Larissa exposed, Colt claimed to an Instagram mistress that Larissa was “violent.” Within the context of the message, it appeared that he was using that as an excuse for why his online affair had to remain a secret. “He was lying to these girls,” Larissa says. “It was already proved.” “He was talking to a girl making promises of a relationship,” Larissa notes. “And talking to others as well behind her back.” “He was saying whatever he wanted to make these girls feel sorry for him,” Larissa points out. “If I was an abusive wife,” Larissa says. “He could just get divorced.” There are many abuse victims who have to stay with their partners for financial security, for their children, for citizenship, or in fear of their lives. As far as we know, Colt has no such ties forcing him to stay with Larissa. Larissa says that if she were abusive, “he would not be here right now asking me to come back to him.” “He is [begging] for forgiveness,” she characterizes. “So,” Larissa asks, in the eyes of some fans, “how come I am abusive?” Most of that was pretty well-reasoned. Unfortunately, Larissa then takes things too far and shoots herself in the foot. “The real abuse is the humiliation of being cheated,” Larissa claims. Cheating is a dicksh thing to do, but it is by no means as bad as abuse. Equating the two makes it sound like domestic violence is much less serious than it really is. “I am the abused victim here,” Larissa concludes, to the frustration of fans who have begun to root for her. At best, they may hope that something has been lost in translation from her native Portuguese. Larissa and Colt both shared a message that Colt wrote on Instagram. “All of these accusations are ridiculous and need to stop,” Colt insists. “Whatever problems I have in MY relationship,” he writes. “I’ll deal with them.” He doesn’t want advice on how to apologize or how to not cheat or how to not be a condescending jerk to her constantly. Colt says: “I will work on them in private.” Last week, fans learned of Colt’s multiple flirtations on social media. But Colt says that none of it is serious — at least, not anymore. “There is nobody special for me,” Colt writes. He clarifies: “There is no new girlfriend.” And to think that he’d been telling some women that he and Larissa were secretly separated but not telling anyone yet. “I love Larissa,” Colt claims. “And,” he continues. “I want to fight for our relationship.” Colt concludes: “and I apologize for all the pain I caused to her.” This couple has seemed toxic since Larissa stepped off the plane. Shannon Beador Accused of Alcoholism, Endangering Her Children

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador continues feuding with fellow Housewives , but she’s also caught up in another fight. Her ex-husband, David, is accusing her of being an alcoholic. He has filed papers with the court to prevent her from drinking — at all — when she’s spending time with their teen daughters. Us Weekly confirms that David Beador filed papers with the court, hoping to forbid Shannon from drinking around their teenage daughters. “The mother has publicly stated on television within the last month, she ‘self-medicates’ with alcohol,” the documents accuse. Discussing your personal life is part of being a reality star, but your words can be thrown back in your face in court if you’re not careful. “That behavior is detrimental to the children,” David’s attorney claims. Their children are Sophie, who is 16, and twins Stella and Adeline, who are each 14. According to David’s team’s request, Shannon would be under very strict rules that go beyond avoiding having wine with dinner. The proposed court order would prevent Shannon from drinking at all while the girls are with her. That would include a ban on drinking eight hours before the girls come to stay with her. An order like this is usually made when someone has demonstrated that they have a drinking problem. That said, for those without a drinking problem, it’s usually easy enough — if socially inconvenient — to follow. Does Shannon have a drinking problem and, if so, is it actually negatively impactful to her girls in any way? Honestly, we don’t know. Either way, this sounds like a clear effort to use Shannon’s status as a reality star against her. Things had been going a little better with Shannon and David’s divorce, right up until the reunion special aired. Is this David’s attempt to exact revenge upon Shannon for disparaging him and his girlfriend on international television? Or was this born of genuine concern? This news comes on the heels of Shannon facing a real medical crisis. On Monday, December 17, Shannon revealed that she had gone to the emergency room. “At ER with horrible pain in my ribs,” Shannon shared with her fans and followers. “Getting tests.” “Everyone so nice but not a hospital fan…” she admitted. Mystery pains are never good, but when they’re in or around your chest, they can be downright scary. Fortunately, Shannon had more to tell her followers. “No blood clot,” she announced. “And all is good.” The human body is kind of a mess, so sometimes phantom pains defy explanation. In this case, if Shannon received a specific diagnosis, she did not see fit to share it with fans. “Heading home with an antibiotic,” Shannon revealed. “Thank you to so many of you for the well wishes.” Shannon told her fans: “It’s overwhelming and kind.” Maybe David has real concerns about Shannon’s drinking, or maybe this is just a game that he’s playing with their divorce. Maybe both. Some fans cannot help but be reminded of one of the elements in the dissolution of their marriage. David, as you may recall, did not respond well when Shannon’s stress eating caused her to gain weight. It reached a point where Shannon said David stopped loving her because she was fat . Does David, even now that he’s moved on with a younger lady love, feel a need to control what Shannon puts in her body? Or is this just fatherly concern for his teenage daughters, who may soon be exposed to alcohol at parties if they are not already? His motives remain shrouded. We’ll see what the court decides. Exposed! This is What the Kardashians Really Think of Blac Chyna

THIS JUST IN: Blac Chyna may actually not be a giant liar after all. We know, right? We’re as stunned by this development as you are. But here’s what we can say about it: Way back in October of 2017, Blac Chyna sued the Kardashian family because she claimed they set out to destroy her career on purpose. According to documents filed by Blac’s attorneys last fall, Kris Jenner and her daughters used their “power and influence over the E! network to kill the second season [of Rob & Chyna].” This sounded crazy to us when we first read it. That show was stupid and had terrible ratings and that’s why E! gave it the axe… right? A few months later, in May 2018, Chyna’s legal team followed up by arguing that the Kardashians were prepared to end filming on their own reality show unless executives gave Blac her walking papers. Again… crazy, right? The Kardashians were willing to walk away from millions and millions of dollars out of spite for Chyna? Based on newly-released emails obtained by Radar Online? Yes, actually! They were. This website has published emails sent between the Jenners and Kardashians that expose their true feelings about Blac Chyna, along with what do appear to be threats made to E!. For example: “I feel very strongly about canceling Season 2 for Rob&Chyna,” Kylie wrote in an email to Khloe and two redacted names, according to court documents. This email continues: “The only reason Chyna wants to be with my brother is for this show. She does not love Rob and their relationship is too fake and destructive.” Kylie wasn’t done, either: We all know filming isn’t my favorite but I will sacrifice and promise you guys episodes and stories and I’m sure all my sisters will be on board to make up for all the episodes Rob&Chyna were supposed to bring in. The public has been exposed to what a fake relationship they have and it’s embarrassing and makes us all look fake. The show is giving this toxic woman money and exposure she lives and breathes for and by continuing it. She will proceed with using and physically abusing my brother. … Her association is detrimental to our family and Keeping Up W the Kardashians. What’s great here isn’t just how Kylie is trying to push E! to cancel Chyna’s show — it’s that she admits her own is pretty much fake a phony as well with the way she promises to provide producers with “stories.” Man, do all these people deserve each other. Then there was this from Khloe: The sisters are clearly concerned and uncomfortable for our brothers safety and the credibility of the brand at this point due to how they [Rob and Chyna] are both tarnishing it… We are even considering not moving forward with our show if theirs continues. Ciani, told Radar Online after Monday’s hearing. “ She added: “This has been very hard fought and we are very grateful that the judge sees the validity of our point. “Chyna will have her chance to testify in front of a jury of her peers and have her side of the story told in court.” It feels like forever ago, but Rob and Chyna chronicled their brief engagement and their journey to becoming the parents of now-two-year-old daughter Dream on their 2016 E! docuseries, Rob & Chyna.
