Amber Heard: Johnny Depp Is an Alcoholic "Monster" Who’s Jealous of James Franco

When Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finalized their divorce in 2017, both parties signed non-disclosure agreements barring them from speaking about the relationship or the breakup in interviews. But some stories are too scandalous to stay buried, and a series of lawsuits have resulted in the strange tale of one of Hollywood’s most disastrous marriages being dredged up time and time again. In December of 2018, Heard published an op-ed in the Washington Post in which she referenced the abuse she had allegedly suffered during her marriage. Though she never mentioned him by name in the piece, Depp filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard , alleging that she had violated the NDA. Last week saw the release of court documents in which Depp claimed that Heard tried to cut off his finger , amongst other allegations. Now it’s Heard’s turn to return fire, and based on a filing obtained by Page Six , she’s certainly not holding back. In the documents, Heard claims Depp “would become a totally different person, often delusional and violent. We called that version of Johnny, ‘the Monster.’” She goes on to detail a May 2014 flight from Boston to Los Angeles, during which Depp “began to throw objects at me” after becoming infuriated by news that she had filmed a romantic scene with actor James Franco. “Instead of reacting to his behavior, I simply moved seats,” she said. “That didn’t stop him. He provocatively pushed a chair at me as I walked by, yelled at me, and taunted me by yelling out the name ‘James Franco.’”  We racked our brains for a scene in Pineapple Express in which Heard and Franco hook up before remembering that the actors also appeared together in a second film, 2015’s The Adderall Diaries . Apparently, Depp had forgotten that he was married to an actress and was upset to learn that Heard and Franco kissed on camera. Heard goes on to claim that Depp “picked another fight with me” at the couple’s apartment in LA in 2015. She says the actor “threw another decanter at me, knocked items around the room, and punched a wall,” and alleges he “slapped me hard, grabbed me by my hair and dragged me from a stairwell to the office to the living to the kitchen to the bedroom and then to the guest room.” Heard claims that when she told Depp she wanted “to leave him, and that I would call the police if he ever touched me again,” the actor responded by  “pushing me” and “head-butted me in my face.” Depp denies that he ever behaved abusively toward Heard. In a statement, Depp’s lawyers argue that he “never abused Ms. Heard, adding: “Her allegations against him were false when they were made in 2016. They were part of an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity for Ms. Heard and advance her career.” Heard’s attorneys fired back, claiming that Depp’s lawsuit is not about the $50 million, but is rather part of a larger campaign to protect Depp’s reputation by preventing Heard from telling her story. “This frivolous action is just the latest of Johnny Depp’s repeated efforts to silence Amber Heard. She will not be silenced,” they wrote in court documents. “Mr. Depp’s actions prove he is unable to accept the truth of his ongoing abusive behavior. But while he appears hell-bent on achieving self-destruction, we will prevail in defeating this groundless lawsuit and ending the continued vile harassment of my client by Mr. Depp and his legal team.” Needless to say, it looks as though this situation will only get uglier from here. We’ll continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available. View Slideshow: Johnny Depp Opens Up About Drugs, Debt, Divorce In Bonkers Interview

Transgender Woman Sues Atlanta-Area Cobb County Cops For Sexual Harrasment After Arrest For $15 Seat Belt Fine

Source: Peter Dazeley / Getty Trans Woman Sues Cobb County Police For Sexual Harassment A transgender woman is suing Atlanta-are Cobb County police department for sexually harassing her and outed her as transgender to the other inmates according to the AJC . Sierra Castle says Cobb County officers refused to put her with female inmates, denied her her medication and ignored her requests for medical attention while in custody. “I was afraid. I was embarrassed. I was humiliated,” Castle told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Peep how f**ked up this is. Sierra went to the police station to file a report about a traffic accident that damaged her car. While at the station her license plate was run and it was revealed that there was a warrant for her arrest for a $15 seat belt fine. While on the way to jail, Sierra says she got nervous about her gender and told the transpo officer that she was trans even though she has had full reassignment surgery and legally changed her name. “I honestly don’t think I should have even said anything, but I was nervous,” she recalled. “I’m not someone who goes to jail. I was scared.” Sierra says that when the officers at the station were told they began to laugh, pat her down inappropriately, changed the gender on her wristband to “male” and altered her records in the system. Dirty game. Sounds like Cobb County is about to either settle big time or pay out a LOT of money.

Whippet Real Hard: Florida Man Sniffing Nitrous Oxide Crashes, Kills Lawyer, Injures Wife And Two Kids

Source: Miami-Dade county police / Mugshot Florida Man Charged For Hitting Lawyer And His Family While High On Whip Cream A Florida man was jailed Wednesday afternoon for killing a lawyer while high on adult-themed nitrous oxide, the Miami Herald reports . Joseph Franco, 27, is accused of killing Amir Pelleg, 43 in July 2018 and injuring his wife and two young daughters. After hitting the family, witnesses told police, Franco, on his phone, dumped a duffel bag in a nearby garbage can. Inside of the duffle bag, Police found 12 used canisters of nitrous oxide, and nine more unused ones. Franco was initially charged with tampering with evidence and distribution of nitrous oxide. The cans were labeled “XXX Platinum Triple Refined Cream Chargers,” an adult-themed product ostensibly used to make whipped cream. “Ready for slathering,” according to the packaging of one box being sold online. Investigators say the “whippets” are used mostly for inhaling the gas, which gives users a euphoric jolt. After further investigation, police believe that Franco was actually high on the “whippets” when he crash. His car’s black box also showed he did not brake or even steer before he hit the family. Franco had been on house arrest awaiting trial on the tampering charge before surrendering Wednesday to face the enhanced charges.

Jussie Smollett: City of Chicago Demands MASSIVE Reimbursement

In a stunning move, prosecutors dropped charges against Jussie Smollett following his arrest for allegedly staging his own hate crime attack. This move has left many wondering why, and others remain fiercely divided over his innocence or guilt. But this isn’t a case of “no hard feelings.” The city of Chicago aims to make Jussie pay a massive sum in police costs. Bill McCaffrey has the exhausting-sounding job of being spokesperson for the Chicago government’s legal department. He tells Entertainment Tonight that the city is seeking a whopping $130,000 from Jussie Smollett. That figure is ostensibly meant to compensate for wasted resources. “The city feels this is a reasonable and legally justifiable amount to collect,” McCaffrey explains. His statement notes that the money is intended “to help offset the cost of the investigation.” The Department of Law, City of Chicago sent a letter to Jussie. “In order to resolve the matter without further legal action,” the letter states. The message continues: “The City requires immediate payment of the $130,106.15 expended on overtime hours in the investigation of this matter.” That same letter contains a threat. If Jussie does not pay the sum within a period of just seven days, the Department of Law may prosecute him for making false statements to police. Jussie has maintained his innocence throughout this story, which began in late January. Controversial Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel as well as Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson feel otherwise. The two came forward to disparage the decision by prosecutors to drop charges against Jussie. Earlier in March, Jussie was indicted on 16 different felony accounts over his false statements. At one point, Jussie’s charges could have led to a lengthy prison sentence — though the city now says that prison time was unlikely anyway. Mayor Emanuel has spoken at length about how he believes that the dropped charges are a miscarriage of justice. “I’d like to remind everybody that a grand jury indicted this individual on only a piece of the evidence that police had collected,” Emanuel noted. “… This is a whitewash of justice,” he accused. “A grand jury could not have been clearer.” “Where is the accountability in the system?” Emanuel demanded to know. For the record, grand juries are notoriously willing to indict. That’s just how grand juries operate. “You cannot have,” he said. “Because of a person’s position, one set of rules apply to them and another set of rules apply to everybody else.” “Our officers did hard work day in and day out,” he claimed. Emanuel continued, saying that police were “working to unwind what actually happened that day.” He concluded: “The city saw its reputation dragged through the mud.” The outrage and the threatening letter demanding a six-figure payout are not all that Jussie is facing. In addition to hefty social fallout, both among his possibly-former castmates and the general public, Jussie has become a target. An Illinois legislator has expressed a desire to withhold state film tax credits from any production that employs Jussie. Regardless of whether you are confused, disappointed, or furious with Jussie, that is deeply abnormal. The idea of passing legislation in order to inconvenience one — one — actor isn’t just absurd. It’s kind of embarrassing. So, did Jussie stage his own alleged hate crime? The Chicago Police Department certainly said that he did, The FBI has yet to chime in with their own conclusions. Many have been hesitant to accept the police version of events because the Chicago Police Department is, specifically, very infamous. The amount that Jussie’s alleged lies may have cost them are a drop in the bucket beside the amount that the city coughs up each year in exessive force payouts. Chicago has paid hundreds of millions in just six years, but notably, Rahm Emanuel has never spoken this much about police misconduct. So people find it odd that he has the audacity to claim that Jussie is benefitting from a double standard. If Jussie really did fake his hate crime, he did more than waste resources — he cast unfair doubt upon future hate crimes, which happen with horrifying frequency. Many have trouble buying the prosecution’s claim that Jussie simply wasn’t worth the effort. It is believed that some degree of police misconduct may have been discovered, prompting the prosecution to drop the case rather than proceed. It is entirely possible that this entire story — from Jussie to the police to the prosecutors to the mayor — features zero good people. That is such a shame. Get Your Life Together: 23 People Charged In Connection With Multimillion Dollar Shoplifting Operation

Source: Jeff Greenberg / Getty 23 People Charged Multimillion-Dollar Shoplifting Bust Another day, another scam . 23 people have just been charged in connection with a multimillion-dollar shoplifting operation, which spans New York and New Jersey. According to a report from WABC-TV , local authorities put the pieces of this operation together following a year-long investigation, which ultimately brought them to alleged mastermind Stephan Williams. It all started with hundreds of thousands of dollars in Jersey City, which is alleged to have eventually grown into something worth millions–thanks to a system in which participating shoplifters were instructed to procure items from a predetermined list. Ulta Beauty, CVS, Walgreens, and Duane Reade were all affected throughout this operation, where the shoplifters scammed over-the-counter meds, vitamins, beauty supplies, and multivitamins. According to investigators, a typical hit would have a hired driver dropping off as many as 10 shoplifters at the locations at a time, and afterward, the items they obtained were allegedly put up for sale on eBay. According to the most recent reports about the bust, 11 alleged participants have been arrested, while warrants for “several others” have been issued; A total of 23 people have reportedly been charged in connection with the scam. It has been estimated that $3 million in stolen items have been recovered by the police, who also managed to freeze a pair of bank accounts that totaled approximately $4.5 million.

Caroline Bedol Is Homeless After Quitting Below Deck!

The reality series Below Deck  shows a group of young people who work aboard yachts.  Crew members, dubbed yachties live abroad on the luxurious vessels while making sure clients’ high demands are met, but while also getting to have their own fun in the sun as they visit some of the most beautiful places around the world.  Former yachtie  Caroline Bedol had quite the storyline on last season and if you saw the show then you already know we are in for a rocky ride. The drama for Caroline was never-ending as she was often bullied by chief stew Kate Chastain and second stew Josiah Carter. It eventually became so bad that Caroline decided to quit the show to remove herself from the toxic situation.  The former third stew revealed to Radar Online that she started having suicidal thoughts from the time she quit until “halfway through the airing of the season.” She described how she felt when she finally returned home from her traumatizing experience, saying “I was fighting alone. Once I got back I was really depressed. I was struggling. I was saying, ‘every episode, I feel like I am dying.” Caroline revealed that she never heard from any of her castmates after her sudden departure.  But she certainly had a lot to say about her former boss Kate, labeling her a “textbook psychopath.” She elaborated saying, “I don’t use the world [psychopath] flippantly. It’s a personality disorder. These people display patterns and that’s why we study them.” Despite the hard ship , Caroline says she actually had some positive experiences from being on the show.  She said she discovered her confidence that she “did not have in the beginning” and she also is now valuing her health and putting herself first from now on. Yay!  Caroline has made a strong presence on social media since her TV debut and has used it to connect with supportive people.  “The positive that’s come from the show is something that I’ve never had before and that’s a platform to reach people,” she said.  “I’ve received so many messages saying ‘I relate to you, I have depression,’ it’s humbling,” she shared.  She also posted numerous Instagram live sessions over the past few weeks where she surprisingly shared that she is “homeless.” She posted a photo from a hotel she was staying at to Instagram with her emotional support dog Rico, assuring us that she is not too terribly alone.   Caroline confirmed with Radar that she is technically homeless, but it’s not as bad as it may sound.  “I’m not looking for a homeless shelter to stay in, but I am homeless in the sense that I am in between homes,” Caroline revealed.  She says that she’s not bothered when people refer to her as “homeless,” before further understanding her situation. “I’m not sure where I’m going to be landing geographically,” she says.  “You get motels or hotels when you can, you sleep in your car if it’s warm.” Hm, I bet she is missing the yacht life right about now? To make matters worse, she is also currently struggling financially as she admits she is in a boat load of debt. “In an effort to get my mother secure, I went into credit card debt,” she tweeted on Wednesday.  “Two credit card companies are suing me, but I’ve [got] a very Jewish attorney handling it (Suck it, @radar_online),” she added.  In case you missed her Twitter meltdown, a user who was following Caroline expressed concerns to Bravo, which reportedly led to the police visiting Caroline for a welfare check .  The former reality star was not happy about the stranger’s call and said on Twitter that “the welfare check was not valid” and that “it’s not correct to call the cops on a stranger who you deem suicidal.” After her very personal article was published, Caroline replied with an almost compliment.  “Well done Radar ,” she naturally tweeted. “Still not impressed but it doesn’t suck like everything else you do,” adding a kissing emoji. We, however, heard her saying, “walk the plank!” (Obviously in a pirates voice.)  View Slideshow: 13 Celebrities Who Have Filed for Bankruptcy

Chicago Police Raid Wrong House During 4-Year-Old’s Birthday Party

For children, birthday parties are supposed to be fun, innocent and filled with cake and balloons. But one lawsuit alleges that the Chicago Police ruined that moment for one African-American 4-year-old boy when they raided the wrong apartment and pointed guns at the stunned partygoers. According to the Chicago Tribune , the incident took place on Feb. 10 when more than a dozen CPD officers stormed into Stephanie Bures’ South Side home using excessive force and repeatedly shouting the f-word at the party, a federal lawsuit alleges. Apparently, the police were targeting a suspect they believed was in possession of the drug ecstasy, but they obtained an old address for him. Instead of finding their suspect, they found a crowd of 15 surrounding a birthday cake. Bures claims that her son was traumatized as were the other children and adults when the police barged into her home, without knocking and without providing proof of a warrant. She told CBS Chicago that she was handcuffed for repeatedly asking what was going on. “They manhandled me it took two officers to get the cuffs on me,” she said. Adding, “I wanted to know why were they there. Who are you? Show us a search warrant. “I asked for a search warrant, I guess, one too many times. And [the officer] was like, ‘Arrest her.’” Bures’ 7-year-old daughter, who once trusted the police, in that moment feared that the police were going to shoot her and her little brother. “To hear her say that, to worry about her or her brother getting shot by someone that is supposed to protect and serve them, it’s terrifying,” her mother said in a press conference on Monday. “It’s horrible.” Bures’ attorney, Al Hofeld Jr., told CBS Chicago that the suspect hadn’t lived at the address in five years and that this type of behavior only worsens the community’s mistrust of the police even more. “As long as they continue to do that, there will never be trust between citizens and the Chicago Police Department,” Hofeld stressed. Adding, that had the CPD took the time to do their research homework, this incident never would have happened. “My law firm took 30 seconds to do a person search and came up with [the suspect’s] most current address, which is on 83rd street nowhere near the property.” The Tribune reported that in addition to raiding the wrong home, the lawsuit also accuses CPD officers of “handcuffing several adults in front of the children even though no one disobeyed orders, ransacking the family’s home, taking hinges off the doors, prying open wall panels, flipping mattresses, throwing a TV to the floor, dousing the presents with hydrogen peroxide and pouring vodka over clothes.” CPD officials have yet to release a public statement about the lawsuit. Now, this isn’t the first time CPD has faced a lawsuit brought for raiding the wrong home. As the Tribune pointed out, just last June, the city settled for $2.5 million with the family of a 3-year-old girl who suffered post-traumatic stress disorder after an officer pointed a gun at her chest when raiding the wrong address. Jussie Smollett May Have Been Assaulted by Someone in "Whiteface," Lawyer Argues

The Jussie Smollett case continues to get crazier and crazier, weirder and weirder. By the minute, it often seems. In the latest hilarious/disturbing/eye-roll-inducing development resulting from this saga, Smollett’s attorney, Tina Glandian, sat across from Savannah Gurthrie on The Today Show Thursday morning. The lawyer did her best to address several inconsistencies with her client’s story, such as the fact that he has claimed from the outset that two white men attacked him early on the morning of January 29. And yet… two African-Americans are the only suspects . They’re Nigerian brothers named Abel and Ola Osundairo and they have multiple connections to Smollett: They worked as extras on Empire. They personally trained Smollett. There are also text messages sent between Smollett and Abel on record, as well as phone calls the day of the supposed attack; a check made out to Abel in the amount of $3,500; and surveillance footage of the brothers purchasing rope and other supplies at a store on the day of the supposed attack. Here’s a photo of the muscular men: So… how does Glandian explain this away? How could Smollett have said two white men beat him up, when it appears to have been two black men he actually knows? “He only saw one of the attackers,” the attorney told Guthrie, adding: “One of them he didn’t see. He saw one through a ski mask. Again, he could not see their body. Everything was covered, and he had a full ski mask on except the area around the eyes.” She continued of what Smollett told the cops: “He did tell police that he… from what we saw, he thought it was pale skin or white or pale skin, was I think what he said. And that was what he… and that’s why he initially did have a hard time.” Abel and Ola have not said anything since the charges against Smollett were dropped . Their lawyer allegedly resigned after they refused to come forward and confirm that Smollett hired them to stage the attack. On Today, meanwhile, Glandian offered up another incredible defense for why her client told police he was assaulted by Caucasians. “Well, you know, I mean, I think there’s – obviously, you can disguise that,” she said of the brothers’ race. “You can put makeup on.” Shen then pointed to a YouTube video from 2016 in which Abel Osundairo puts on white makeup to perform the Joker monologue. Here is a still image of the suspect in whiteface from that footage: “I think police had minimal investigation in this case, it took me only five minutes to Google,” said the attorney. “You know, I was looking up the brothers, and one of the videos that showed up actually was of the brothers in whiteface doing a joker monologue with white makeup on him. “So, it’s not – it’s not implausible.” Okay. We guess. From there, Guthrie asked why Smollett did not recognize the Osundairos’ voices after allegedly having hung up the phone with them just moments earlier, based on official record, to which Glandian replied: “I mean, this was a very brief interaction. “Before you can even process what they look like, you’ve been punched in the face. And now next thing you’re on the floor and you’re being kicked… “And so, this isn’t somebody who’s digesting what’s happening. I mean, there’s excitement and fear and all of these things happening.” Glandian went on to say that Smollett has no interest in pressing charges against these suspects — which sounds downright insane and bizarre. He’s claiming they beat him up, tied a rope around his neck, yelled racial and anti-gay slurs at him and poured bleach all over him? And he’s looking to clear his name? And yet he doesn’t want to press charges?!?!?!? That is questionable AF. Smollett’s lawyer also says Jussie is more upset about the reaction to his charges being dropped than about this supposedly heinous assault. Smollett is especially hurt by the way the Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, and the Chicago Police Department slammed and trashed him as guilty… even after the state’s attorney office let him walk free. Emanuel referred to this decision as a ” whitewash of justice ,” adding of Smollett: You have a person using hate crime laws that are on the books to protect people who are minorities from violence to then turn around and use those laws to advance your career and your financial reward. Is there no decency in this man? “It is the Mayor and the Police Chief who owe Jussie – owe him an apology – for dragging an innocent man’s character through the mud. Jussie has paid enough,” Smollett’s legal team’s have now said in a statement. View Slideshow: Jussie Smollett: This is How He Staged His Alleged Assault
