Noisy Kid at Theater Hit in the Face By Irate Titanic Fan

A Washington state man fed up with a noisy kid in a movie theater behind him stepped over the seat and punched the 10-year-old in the face. The man told police he thought the person he hit was a grown man. The film in question? Titanic in 3-D. He was with his girlfriend and had asked the people sitting behind to quiet down and stop throwing popcorn. But they laughed, and thus, one got drilled in the mouth . Titanic 3D Trailer “I got so mad that it just happened,” Yong Hyun Kim, 21, told police who arrested him at the AMC Kent Station 14, in Kent, Wash. The 10-year-old boy lost a tooth and suffered a bloody nose. Kim spent a night in the Kent city jail and appeared in King County District Court and was released, said D.A. spokesman Dan Donohoe. He was with second-degree assault. If convicted, he could be sentenced to three to nine months in jail. He will be arraigned May 31. The boy, identified in the police report as KJJ, was was watching the movie with three friends, all talking when Kim told them to be quiet. They did, KJJ says, but when he whispered something, Kim jumped over the seat, threw an iced drink at them and punched him in the face. Kim said something to the effect of “You know what, I paid a lot of money to see this.” The man has a point there. The concession prices really are brutal. Choose your side :

Electric Daisy Carnival Headliners Avicii, Steve Angello Bring Mayhem To New York

‘New York City, tonight, electronic dance music won the Superbowl,’ Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello tells the crowd. By Nicholas Philippou Armin van Buuren at Electric Daisy Carnival New York A different breed of giants owned MetLife Stadium on Saturday during day two of New York’s inaugural Electric Daisy Carnival. Armin van Buuren, Avicii and Swedish House Mafia ‘s Steve Angello closed the day’s festivities under a sea of red, white and gold fireworks, after taking an estimated 60,000 fans for an unforgettable ride. “We put a nightclub in Giants stadium,” Angello proudly told the crowd during EDC’s closing moments. “New York City, tonight, electronic dance music won the Superbowl.” Angello reveled in the moment and called the night “historic,” after delivering a two-hour set that evolved from dark and dirty to euphoric, ending with Angello in the spotlight, arms wide open, nearly hugging the crowd during SHM’s remix of Coldplay’s “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall.” SHM fans got their serving with classics like “Greyhound” and “One” as well as the revved-up Knife Party remix of “Save the World” that capped the night’s exhilaration. Thomas Gold was Steve Angello’s Eli Manning inside the stadium, where Size Matters took over the end zone. Gold had one of those days where it was like he couldn’t miss, from the moment he hit the stage he turned the red zone into the Gold zone for two hours. He fired off a monster set with his remix of Miike Snow’s “The Wave” and rode on a high-energy, song-switching filter-fest of songs we all love, but have never heard quite like this before. Gold played up the Police’s “Message In a Bottle,” against his track “Abart,” with Leventina’s “We’re Gonna Start,” followed up with a mash-up of “Agora” and Avicii’s “Le7els” in what was a fun, feel-good set that scratched every itch. Outside of the stadium, at the Kinetic Field, Alesso and SHM’s Sebastian Ingrosso both killed it with amazing sets, with Alesso even making a return trip to the stage when Seb cued up their smash hit, “Calling,” while the huge crowd hummed out the chorus. Ingrosso played up every element of his show, leveling the crowd with a mash-up of SHM’s “One” against Gotye’s “Somebody that I Used to Know,” while a giant eye familiar to SHM fans stared back at them, creating a definite feeling of surreal, a reoccurring sensation throughout the festivities. And a surreal experience is really what EDC is all about. It’s a costume party, a rave, a carnival, an amusement park, a concert and a madhouse in whatever direction you turn. Wherever you were, you were most definitely entertained. Were you at New York’s Electric Daisy Carnival? What did you think? Leave your comment below! Another Pig Walks After Taped Beating Of Unarmed 15-Year Old Black Kid: Even The Mayor Is Pissed! [Video]

What the hell is going on… is this the 60′s?: Not guilty verdict in case against ex-Houston officer Andrew Blomberg So the cops and people of America feel it’s just “kill black boy” season: A fired Houston police officer has been found not guilty of official oppression in the videotaped beating of a teen burglar. The Harris County jury found 29-year-old Andrew Blomberg not guilty of official oppression. He was fired from the Houston Police Department after a videotape surfaced of the beating of Chad Holley during his March 2010 arrest. Holley was 15 years old at the time of the beating and arrest. He was later convicted of the burglary. The jury began deliberating the case at about noon on Tuesday, and returned to their deliberation at 9:30am today. They returned a verdict shortly after 11am. Houston Mayor Annise Parker said, “I do not agree with the verdict. No way he will ever again be a Houston police officer.” “This was a just verdict,” said KTRK legal analyst Joel Androphy. “Police officers have different boundaries than the rest of us. This officer was acquitted because police officers get extra benefit of the doubt.” Community activist Quanell X called the verdict not simply a miscarriage of justice, but an “abortion.” “They just said to black people that the police can do whatever they want to do and get away with it. They just sent a message to all of us that our lives don’t mean a (darn) thing in Harris County,” Quanell X said. The situation at the courthouse has been heated ever since closing arguments on Tuesday morning, and tensions escalated there after the not guilty verdict was announced. Blomberg was held in the courtroom for safety reasons for more than 30 minutes after the verdict was read. The situation in the hallway was described as ‘chaos.’ Outside the building, Blomberg told reporters, “I’m glad it’s over and I’m going home… just going to take a deep breath and reassess after this, see what I want to do.” Blomberg said that he would not seek to get his HPD officer job back. Ray Hunt, president of the Houston Police Officers’ Union, says he hopes there is no lingering commotion in community. However, Quanell X is reportedly calling for a protest, and suggests that ‘if people are going to be violent, then they’re going to be violent.’ Those speaking for the Black United Front reportedly said to “let justice reign in the streets.” The Reverend Robert Jefferon with the Cullen Missionary Baptist Church told Eyewitness News, “Yes, I do feel they whooped that boy unmercifully, and somebody should be punished, yes I do.” If convicted, Blomberg could have faced up to a year in jail and/or up to a $4,000 fine. Androphy adds that this verdict has sent a strong message to the prosecution that it’s going to be difficult to convict the three other officers charged in connection with this beating case. HPD Chief Charles McClelland released a statement which read in part: “I would like to thank the jury for their hard work and dedication in listening to the evidence and rendering a decision in this case. I understand that some will disagree with the verdict, and although no system is perfect, our system of jurisprudence provides appropriate safeguards to protect our freedom. “I also appreciate the citizens of Houston and trust that they will continue to express themselves in a manner that is respectful of the rights and privileges we all share. It is important to remember that the officer that was the subject of this trial is no longer a Houston police officer and that a separate and distinct administrative process has confirmed his termination from the Houston Police Department. He will never again be a Houston Police Officer.” Mayor Parker also said that the actions of the officers allegedly involved in the beating don’t represent the thousands of other officers in HPD. Harris Co. District Attorney Pat Lykos said in a statement, “Although, I respectfully disagree with the decision, I accept it and thank the jurors for their service. We have the best criminal justice system in the world. We are prepared to go to trial on the remaining three cases and request the court to set speedy trials.” Turn the page to see this foul in court celebrating and for the disturbing beating footage. Amber Portwood Mug Shots: Hey, Wake Up!

Amber Portwood is really leaving her mark in our celebrity mug shots gallery. After the Teen Mom train wreck was jailed for lying about a medical condition to get out of a mandated drug court appearance, she posed for the police cameras once again … whether she remembers this is a different story. See below: In her latest booking photos, Amber can be seen either blinking or looking very tired / strung out. Maybe she just can’t bear to look at her life slipping away. Amber appears on the brink of some serious punishment if the accusations of lying to the court turn out to be true. Either way, she’s in pretty bad shape. Amber told local officials she couldn’t show up for her drug test as she was on doctor-ordered bed rest following gall bladder surgery for 2-3 weeks. A good excuse … only officials called her bluff and her doctor said no such thing had been ordered. She also pulled a drug-test no show in March. Hope the food is okay in jail. She could be there awhile.

Cop Killer: Mississippi Police Fear That Someone Is Impersonating A Cop, Pulling People Over, And KILLING THEM!

As if it’s not already hard enough to trust a cop in Mississippi… Mississippi Police Think Cop Impersonator Is Killing Motorists Someone who may be posing as a police officer is pulling cars over on Mississippi highways and then shooting drivers dead, authorities said. After two such shootings this month, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help to find the person. “There are some similarities between the two incidents, mainly the fact they happened alongside a Mississippi highway,” said MBI Director Lt. Col. Larry Waggoner on Monday. “The concern is that someone is posing as a law enforcement officer and that is how these vehicles end up on the side of the road.” The first shooting occurred on May 8. Thomas Schlender, 74, was found dead in his car in the median of southbound Interstate 55 about 1:30 a.m. On Friday, Lori Anne Carswell, 48, was found dead outside her car on the shoulder of Mississippi State Highway 713 about 2:15 a.m. The shootings took place about 55 miles apart, and the victims did not know each other, authorities said. Authorities are asking citizens to be careful if they are pulled over and feel uneasy. They advise drivers to call 911 and verify that a legitimate officer is pulling them over or drive to a well-lit, crowded place before stopping. Mississippi folks, protect ya neck! Make sure that the cop pulling you over is REALLY a cop! Source

R.I.P. Legendary Hairstylist Vidal Sassoon Dead At 84

R.I.P. to another great one. Hairstylist Vidal Sassoon, who undid the beehive with his wash-and-wear cuts and went on to become an international name in hair care, died Wednesday. He was 84. Sassoon died at his home on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, police spokesman Kevin Maiberger said. Officers were summoned to the home at about 10:30 a.m., where they found Sassoon dead with his family. They determined that he died of natural causes, and there will be no further police investigation, Maiberger said. When Sassoon picked up his shears in the 1950s, styled hair was typically curled, teased, piled high and shellacked into place. Then came the 1960s, and Sassoon’s creative cuts, which required little styling and fell into place perfectly every time, fit right in with the fledgling women’s liberation movement. “My idea was to cut shape into the hair, to use it like fabric and take away everything that was superfluous,” Sassoon said in 1993 in the Los Angeles Times, which first reported his death Wednesday. “Women were going back to work, they were assuming their own power. They didn’t have time to sit under the dryer anymore.” His wash-and-wear styles included the bob, the Five-Point cut and the “Greek Goddess,” a short, tousled perm — inspired by the “Afro-marvelous-looking women” he said he saw in New York’s Harlem. Sassoon opened his first salon in his native London in 1954 but said he didn’t perfect his cut-is-everything approach until the mid-’60s. Once the wash-and-wear concept hit, though, it hit big and many women retired their curlers for good. See y’all Harlem even inspired Vidal Sassoon! Source

Ridiculous Power Tripping Cop Who Almost Killed Someone By Not Doing his Job of the Day

I saw this yesterday and it made me mad…and it will probably make you mad too. The story is simple, some power tripping cop who was manning the 911 phones decided to not do his fucking job, but instead take on the role of school teacher because a girl said “fuck” during a crisis….forcing her to run to the police station to get an ambulance as her dad was in seizure on the kitchen floor, because asshole refused to serve her like a disgruntled cashier at a retail store, instead of like an emergency respondent…. I fucking hate people like this, who don’t realize their place in the world, who preach at inappropriate times, when bitch was just using the system in place to save her dying father…. To make things even more insane, he arrested her under fake charges. I think we sould all email the Police Chief Thomas Karnes and tell him that his employee shouldn’t just be suspended or fired but in fact arrested for putting lives at risk….Assshole… His email is tkarnes@citylp.com DrunkenStepfather.com – always saving the world….
