After reviewing a new political advertisement calling for the full legalization of marijuana in America, NBC’s highly rated Today Show took on a debate of the issue. High honors go to Marijuana Policy Project’s Aaron Houston for presenting our side’s common sense arguments, including reminding the rest of the world that marijuana is far safer than alcohol. Make no mistake, we are winning this debate, and a new poll out today showing the highest support ever recorded for legalization proves the point!

Reuters – Police found 12 bodies tortured, executed and dumped on the side of an isolated highway in western Mexico on Monday, the latest victims of an ongoing feud between rival drug cartels.

2 convicted killers escape from maximum-security Indiana prison

Mexican police and soliders murdered by drug gangs

Coordinated attacks in at least eight Mexican cities killed three federal police officers and two soldiers and injured 18 police officers Saturday in what officials are calling an unprecedented onslaught by drug gangs.
