The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, turns 52 today. He’s probably feeling like he’s 52 going on 73 at this point in his career. Between still-modest economic growth, widespread global instability, myriad administration scandals and polarization in D.C., there’s a lot on his plate. Whichever side of the political spectrum you’re on, you have to admit, the man’s got a tough job. At the very least, Obama could use some birthday wishes! Just hang in there, Mr. President. Enjoy your Sunday with the family. In honor of today, here are some Barack and Michelle Obama pics :
Anthony “Spice” Adams has gone from the gridiron to the grill. The former Penn State standout was drafted in 2003 by the 49ers and played four seasons in San Francisco, followed by four seasons in Chicago before retiring in March. And now he’s a viral video star! Adams has released “Slab City,” a parody of the 2011 hit “Rack City,” that features plenty of slo-mo sauce action, along with a lot more than you probably want to see of this large man without a shirt on. Anthony Adams – “Slab City” Watch the music video now and then scroll down for the trailer Adams made shortly after retired. It’s safe to say he has this whole Internet sensation thing down well: Anthony Adams Retirement Trailer
There’s making a point, and there’s being creepy. It appears as if one North Dakota anti-abortion group is skewing a bit on the creepy side with their latest move. Some people go to the State Fair to sample various fried goodies and perhaps ride the Ferris Wheel. The Minot Right to Life group however? They went to hand out little squishy fetus dolls to children. Even fellow pro-lifers are giving this the Scooby-Doo “wth” look. Rob Port, editor of conservative blog Say Anything, noticed his 5 year old daughter with the toy and wasn’t too pleased. He later commented on his blog, “Whatever group is out there trying to promote the pro-life message by handing out squish alien babies, stop. You’re doing more harm than good.” While that statement pretty much sums it up, the best line from Mr. Port was this – “stop being a bunch of weirdos.”
It’s time to snuggle up to your pups and perhaps shield their eyes. Dog lovers and canine rescue operators gathered together in Baltimore to put to rest the remains of 240 dogs who were found in the home of animal hoarder, Judy Cahill. The dogs were buried in the Baltimore Humane Society’s Nicodemus Memorial Park, a nice resting place for the dogs who had such a sad existence in life. Judy Cahill was charged with neglect after the dogs were found in her home in deplorable conditions. She had been hoarding animals in her home for over 30 years. Due to terms of her conviction, she will not be able to own a pet in Maryland for ten years. So sad. I think we all need to go watch that amazing puppy again.
Anthony Weiner is standing by campaign spokeswoman Barbara Morgan after she went on an expletive-laden rant against former intern Olivia Nuzzi. After Nuzzi went public with some less-than-flattering insight in the N.Y. Daily News , Morgan referred to her as a “f–king slutbag,” a “tw-t” and a “cu-t”. Asked by a reporter if Morgan was still working for him, Weiner replied: “You bet.” Morgan, communications director for Weiner’s campaign, apologized after ranting to Talking Points Memo about Nuzzi, who had criticized Weiner and Morgan. Nuzzi stated that people only work for Weiner’s New York City mayoral campaign to gain access to his wife, Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin . Morgan called Nuzzi a fame-hungry “bitch” who “sucked” at her job, and said “It’s all bulls–t. I mean, it’s such bulls–t. She can f–king … f–king tw-t.” “F–king slutbag. Nice f–king glamour shot on the cover of the Daily News . Man, see if you ever get a job in this town again.” “And by the way, I tried to fire her, but she begged to come back and I gave her a second chance. She sucked. She, like, wasn’t good at setting up events.” “She was clearly there because she wanted to be seen. Like it was, like, terrible and I had to like – she would like, she would just not show up for work.” In a statement to Business Insider , Morgan said: “In a moment of frustration, I used inappropriate language in what I thought was an off-the-record conversation.” She adds in her mea culpa that, “It was wrong and I am very sorry, which is what I said tonight when I called and emailed Olivia to apologize.” Talking Points Memo’s Josh Marshall said there was zero doubt he was going to report this and “no question that the interview was on the record.” “I tend to think that ‘off the record’ niceties go out the window the minute someone calls another person a ‘slutbag’ or a ‘cunt,’ but that’s just me,” he added. Olivia Nuzzi, meanwhile, has since changed her Twitter bio to “Slutbag, twat and cunt.” No word if Sydney Leathers has changed hers to “naughty but nice aspiring porn star.” Anthony Weiner is inexplicably still in the race for mayor as of this report.
Anthony Weiner says he is staying in the 2013 race for Mayor of New York City despite falling poll numbers and mounting pressure for him to exit. He had actually been near the top of the Democratic field before The Dirty released Anthony Weiner nude photos and explicit texts earlier this week. The fact that the sexting with Sydney Leathers occurred a year after he quit Congress in disgrace over online affairs leaves his comeback bid in peril. But in the face of rivals’ calls to drop out and concern among Democratic leaders that more embarrassing revelations could emerge, he’s staying in. Weiner is adamant that he won’t leave the race over the sexting scandal , soldiering on during a candidates forum Thursday night in Queens. Still, it’s hard to see his campaign rebounding from this one. Scandals blow over and voters are more inclined to give politicians second chances than you often think … but this was his, and he’s just ridiculous. Full-on crotch shots Weiner sent Leathers, 23, were reciprocated by shots of the Indiana resident in a thong-like panty, and another of her in heels. He has a foot fetish, apparently. Weiner, who welcomed his first child with wife Huma Abedin in December 2011, acknowledged that he is still “working with people” to get help He insists he does not have an addiction, however. “I don’t believe that it is . I want to have some modicum of privacy between me and the people who are offering me this help, but the answer is no,” he said. Campaigning at a soup kitchen in Brooklyn, Weiner was asked again about his Internet relationships, putting the total number at “six to 10, I suppose.” Asked how many occurred after he left Congress amid his first sexting scandal in June 2011, Weiner said, “I don’t believe I had any more than three.” There weren’t “dozens and dozens,” the 48-year-old added. New York City voters’ fears? Totally assuaged right now.
George H.W. Bush is sporting a new look. For a very noble cause. The former President of the United States have shaven his head to in solidarity with a two-year-old Patrick, the son of a member of Bush’s security detail who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Bush’s spokesman Jim McGrath Tweeted the following picture of the ex-Commander-in-Chief, who joined with members of his Secret Service team in making the supportive gesture: The 88-year old is mostly confined to a wheelchair these days. He was placed in intensive care in December and there was fear he would not survive the ordeal.
I chose to have a threesome with Lamar. I was hesitant at first because, when you love somebody, having a threesome isn’t an easy decision to make. I decided to do it as a Christmas gift. So says Jennifer Richardson in an explosive new interview, as the self-proclaimed mistress of Lamar Odom opens up about her long-term affair with the basketball star. Richardson has said she has proof of the relationship, from ticket stubs to airline tickets. But she doesn’t present any of that here; she simply talks in detail about how she met Odom… how serious their connection was… and how they both enjoyed a “light-hearted” threesome with her friend. Seriously. She talks about that a lot. Watch now: Jennifer Richardson Interview Might a Khloe Kardashian divorce now be on the way?
New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner confirms that a new batch of lewd, sexually charged chats and photos of him online are authentic. The Dirty, a celebrity gossip site owned by Nik Richie, posted pics and conversations that allegedly came from Weiner to a 22-year-old woman. He used the pseudonym “Carlos Danger.” Seriously. The former U.S. Congressman, who resigned after a scandal in which he texted pics of his junk to people online, recently announced his comeback. In spite of this new revelation, he’s still running for Mayor of NYC . “I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out, and they have,” Weiner said in a statement released by his campaign Tuesday afternoon. “As I have said in the past, the things I did were wrong and hurtful to my wife and caused us to go through challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation from Congress.” “While some things that have been posted today are true and some are not, there is no question that what I did was wrong.” “This behavior is behind me. I’ve apologized to Huma and am grateful that she has worked through these issues with me and for her forgiveness.” “I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption that this has caused.” “As my wife and I have said, we are focused on moving forward.” Weiner’s statement does not address the crucial question of the timeline of when they occurred, and the sex chats and photos are not dated. The Dirty’s source says that she carried on an online relationship with Weiner from July-November 2012, which he did not deny in the statement. The anonymous woman said her relationship with Weiner, who is married to Huma Abedin , lasted for six months and that he had promised “many” things. The Dirty’s post gained traction in the mainstream when BuzzFeed’s Ben Smith posted them. Nik Richie did not respond to a request for comment. When he first jumped into the campaign, Weiner said that he “couldn’t guarantee” new photos like the one that forced him to resign wouldn’t surface. Weiner had built up consistent leads in multiple recent mayoral polls before these new revelations. We’ll see if his tenuous support can hold up.
