Freeing itself from libel, the magazine quotes “some online commenters” as speculating that West is in a “romantic relationship” with Riccardo Tisci, the creative director of the company that designed Kim’s dress for this year’s MET Gala . “There are some facts Kim can’t deny,” a source tells In Touch . “Kanye has spent her entire pregnancy living close to Riccardo in the French capita… and Riccardo recently purchased an apartment less than half a mile from Kanye’s in NYC’s Soho neighborhood.” There it is! Convincing proof! The tabloid adds that Kanye is “obsessed with Riccardo” and the two spend a lot of time inside Kanye’s apartment… if you know what this made-up report means! “Kim freaked out,” a totally real friend says in the article. “If it turns out Kanye is involved with Riccardo, she will be utterly embarrassed – more so than she’s ever been in her life.” Hear that, Kris Humphries ? WTF? We know they wanted the teachers to be prepared, but hiring fake gunmen to scare them was a little too much. Schools Hires Fake Gunmen For Readiness Drill According to Gawker A school district in Oregon is catching some flak after it recently sent two masked gunmen loaded with blanks on a meeting room full of teachers as part of a surprise “readiness drill” for an active shooter scenario. The two men burst into the meeting room at Pine Eagle Charter School in Halfway last Friday and opened fire on the teachers within. After several long moments, the terrorized teachers realized the shooting was staged since they weren’t, well, being shot to death. The Oregonian reports that the school’s staff had received training on what to do in case of an active shooting event from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, and the district picked an in-service day during which students stayed at home in order to conduct the unannounced drill. After the initial shock wore off, some of the teachers arrived at the realization that they would not have survived had this been a real-life school shooting. Asked how many of the fifteen teachers would have made it out alive, Principal Cammie DeCastro responded, “not many.” She blew off critics who expressed concern for the possibility that some of the teachers could have been literally scared to death, or worse, could have been carrying a concealed weapon of their own and moved to respond in kind. In fact, the latter may be an outcome of the failed drill as the district’s Safety Committee and the School Board consider arming teachers or bringing in armed volunteers to watch over the children. “For us not to know how we were going to respond is leaving us open,” DeCastro said. Lashon T. Hollman, a 21-year old from Saginaw, Michigan, was convicted of first-degree murder yesterday by a jury that needed only 15 minutes to deliberate. Hollman was standing trial on charges that he broke into the apartment of his neighbor, Cassandra Nelson, on February 1, 2012 – and proceeded to drop a television set on her head before stabbing her 54 times. After a week and a half of testimony, the jury convicted Hollman on counts of premeditated murder, torture, and carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent. Hollman – who initially denied all involvement in the incident – lowered his head and cried when the jury’s verdict was read. The first-degree murder and felony murder charges carry with them mandatory penalties of life in prison without the possibility of parole. He will be sentenced on May 9.

Brace yourselves, people: in an alternate galaxy far, far away, there is a Guillermo Del Toro -helmed Star Wars film in development. Rampant speculation being the most powerful side effect of the Living Force, it’s no wonder that last year’s shocking news that we’ll soon all be watching – and probably complaining about – Star Wars: Episode 7 has resulted in endless guessing from the Jeditariat. When we’re not gushing about possible plot points, or the fact that the new film might feature a female lead . We’re talking about the most common subject of baseless and not-so-baseless guesswork: Just who will be directing it? With George Lucas retiring, the possibility of a somewhat clean slate for the Star Wars universe after the mess made of it by the prequel trilogy is enough to make even the most bitter ex-fan drool. In the weeks after the initial announcement of Episode 7 , several directors were consistently mentioned as potential hirees. At the time it seemed like nothing more than wish fulfillment fantasies and baseless rumor, but it’s beginning to look as though the rumored names reflected very real prospects. One of the most frequently mentioned names was Pan’s Labyrinth and Pacific Rim director Guillermo Del Toro. In November, Del Toro outright denied having been approached by Disney, but speaking this week to The Playlist he finally confirmed that he was, in fact, asked if he’d like the job. “We got one phone call to my agent saying, ‘Is Guillermo interested?’,” the director said. “And basically I have so much stuff already of my own, and I’m pursuing stuff that I’m generating already…” He offered no other comment, aside from affirming that he’d love to see Brad Bird take the job, but in saying no to Star Wars , Del Toro is in good company. JJ Abrams recently revealed that he, too, turned down the chance to take over Star Wars , in his case because, as he put it, he’s too big a fan to want to do anything more than watch the new films in theaters. Whether true or not, it’s interesting that now two of the most obvious names-out-of-a-hat have said no to Star Wars 7 . Though Episode 7 is almost certainly racing into preproduction, Disney has not yet announced a director. Whether this is because they haven’t hired one, or because the same CIA-levels of secrecy they employed to keep the purchase of the franchise a secret for more than a year are in full force now, I prefer to believe that the will of The Force is behind everything. I met Justin Bieber October 19 th , 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota . I had heard of the hotel he was staying at, and I knew I had to go there to see if I could find him. All day I was tweeting how I was going to try to find Justin, and everyone was just saying “good luck with that,” but I had hope . The car ride down there I was already screaming at the possibility of meeting him and the fact that we would be in the same city was already a crazy thought! I was able to get down to the hotel at around 8pm and once we got there, there were only about 10 girls there so far. They had all said he just drove by 10 minutes earlier and waved out the window, I was so mad that I missed it! The good thing was that we knew he had to come back to the hotel sometime that night, and I knew I would wait there all night until he came back. After about 2 hours of waiting Dan and Scrappy pulled up, said hi, and went into the hotel . I was in awe when I saw them. It was crazy, and I knew that Justin had to be coming soon. The number of people outside his hotel grew to about 35-40 girls after about 4 hours of standing in the freezing cold. All of a sudden everyone started screaming and running. I turn around to see this black SUV parked and Justin’s security guard walking out. THEN JUSTIN GETS OUT!!! I completely lost it. They kept telling us to stay back or else Justin would have to leave, so all us girls tried to cooperate as best we could even though we were all dying inside. Justin thankfully first came over to the side where I was standing and I couldn’t even believe what I was seeing before my eyes. Alfredo Flores was taking the pictures and I handed my camera to him and then got my picture with Justin. I literally wrapped my arms around his waist so tightly. He was so gorgeous in person I can’t even comprehend it and his face was so flawless. Even everyone I knew thought it was a fake picture and just a cutout of him because he looks so perfect. His voice when he talked was literally heaven. I told him I loved him , and the time went by so fast, I just wish I could relive that moment over and over. After taking the picture I was screaming non-stop in the car ride home and couldn’t believe this was real life. I would always read Bieber experiences on this tumblr, and I never thought I would ever have the chance to make my own. It seems so surreal, and I am so thankful that I got to meet him. I had been waiting my whole life for this moment and it was HANDS DOWN the greatest day of my life. Not only did I meet Justin, but his concert was still the next day. My countdown started at 124 days and the day had finally come. My friend, Morgan and I had floor seats and were row 31, but thanks to THE BEST SECURITY GUARD EVER, we got moved up to 6 th row and it was AMAZING! I will never forget when the countdown hit 0:00 and I literally died and was hyperventilating uncontrollably. After the concert we went back by his tour bus and all of a sudden Kenny and Alfredo came outside with Justin’s hamster, Pac! They were putting it away and I was so tempted to take it, but I didn’t… It was the best concert of my entire life and Justin is just perfect in every way. I will never get over the fact that I met my idol, and I will forever be in shock! My name is Akvile, I’m 17 and I live in London . June 18th 2012 was when I got my first picture with Justin Bieber. Just the feeling of being in his presence was honestly amazing. He is so stunning, you can just get so starstruck. I got my picture with him at Radio 1 in London, there were quite a few people there so I couldn’t talk to him , he had to leave pretty quickly because there was paparazzi also. That week was amazing because I met the whole crew. September 12th to 14th= the best few days of my life, honestly. September 12th was when Justin was recording the acoustic set for the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards so we went to the studios. We saw him go in but he ran inside quickly due to paparazzi. We stayed there till around 5.20pm. We had wristbands to his ‘Just Getting Started’ book signing and we heard that the doors to get into the signing closed at 6pm so we decided to just leave and go there . The moment we left, as we were walking down the road, we heard screams and turned around to see that he had just left. The car was coming in our direction so we ran to the end of the road and stood at the turn so he could see us. As the car was turning slowly, we waved at him and he was banging on the window at us and waving. Then he kissed the window of the car at us and drove off. That made my entire day. At the book signing, it was INSANE. We were near the end so it was really rushed because Justin was really sick, they wanted to get him out of there as soon as possible. I didn’t get to speak to him or anything, he was looking elsewhere when it was my turn so he didn’t notice me. We weren’t allowed to film but I managed to get a video of some of it. The next day included a lot of waiting again and we saw him towards night time at his hotel. When he got back from the Jonathan Ross show, a few of my friends got to meet him and get amazing pictures. We didn’t manage to get to him on time but I’m glad they did. We all decided that we were not leaving until we saw him and we stayed out the entire night. He came out for us around 11-12pm and fans swarmed him. He said, “Guys chill out, we can take pictures, let’s just hang out.” He asked everyone to line up but no one listened and so he said he’s going back in and then he left. I didn’t think he would come out for us again, but later on he did, at around 1.30am, and it was the best experience ever. The entire time I watched him, I was standing two feet away from him for like an entire 2 minutes just listening to him talk. He was so unwell but he still looked so perfect. I asked him for a hug and he was like ‘sure’ and I hugged him and whispered “thank you” in his ear because honestly, it was all I’ve ever wanted to say to him. I got a picture with him and it was just brilliant. When he left, we waved at him and then I honestly just collapsed and cried. I hugged all of friends, just crying because I have never been so happy before. That night, we actually slept on the street because we all missed our trains home, but we had fun so it was no big deal, except it was absolutely freezing that night. The next morning, we all heard that he wouldn’t be coming out because he was sick so we were so upset to hear about that so we wanted to do something for him. I got an idea and I ran to the nearest arts and crafts store I saw and bought some tape. I decided to write a note saying ‘Get well soon Justin’ and covered it in tape so that I could stick it on the car. Then my friends decided to join in and we decided to cover the car in those notes. Right before Justin left, as he was driving out, he had the car door open, JUST so he could say bye to us all. He drove out and said, “Hey guys!” to us, so we said hi and wished him to get well soon. As he drove away, we ran after the car as fast as we could and taped the notes onto the windows. I was so happy that we managed to do it. I was hoping he would smile at them, but I NEVER expected him to actually Instagram a picture of those notes on his car and say thank you to us . I cried my eyes out when I saw that Instagram and the tweets. We actually managed to make him smile and make him feel better when he was sick. That was such an amazing feeling for me, I couldn’t stop crying . We all made the effort and we did it, we made him smile and we made him feel better. Justin Drew Bieber is my pillar. He is my everything. He has helped me through so much and he’s the reason that I’m still here and living. I’m so grateful. I finally managed to thank him. The hours and days we spent waiting for him. All the time we spent staying outside during freezing weather. All of the times we were running everywhere to see him despite me having fractured legs and being in constant pain, it was just all SO worth it in the end. He is WORTH IT. Every 11:11, we all wished to meet him. And it happened. So the moral of MY story is – your dreams can come true.
