‘Glee’ makes it ‘Like a Prayer’ tonight on the show (VIDEO)

The Power of Madonna was definitely felt on the latest episode of ‘Glee’. Making your toes tap, the cast of Glee sings (and dances) to the song ‘Like a Prayer’ and was an amazing show based off the celebrity rocker, Madonna. The song, Like A Prayer was a similar version when compared to the original sang by Madonna. The cast of Glee has been twittering this episode of the show is probably one of the best so far. Like in ever. Putting the Glee spin on Madonna wasn’t just fun for the cast, it really did sound wonderful for the audience as well. Sophie Turner in her Bikini of the Day

I still haven’t figured out who Sophie Turner is, other than the bitch who tried to sue me through her Publicist for calling her a pornstar because she did everything in her power to make us all think she was a pornstar, and by us all, I mean me and the other guy who have ever heard of this bitch. I figure she’s good enough for me to notice since bitch is in a bikini and no bitch in a bikini is too low level for me to notice…. Pics via PacificCoastNews

Lady Antebellum Talk Crossover Success After Five ACM Wins

Trio wins five awards, including Song of the Year, at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night. By Gil Kaufman Lady Antebellum dominates the 2010 ACM awards Photo: Jordan Strauss/ WireImage LAS VEGAS — Country trio Lady Antebellum continued their winning ways at Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, topping all winners with five awards, including Song of the Year and Single of the Year for the crossover smash “Need You Now” (each counted for two because they wrote and produced the song) and Top Vocal Group. It was the capper to an already stellar 2010, during which their Need You Now album has been the top-seller so far this year and the single has crossed over to pop radio, landing them alongside Lady Gaga and Ke$ha on top 40 stations across the country. “We’re blown away. It’s been a pretty incredible year thus far,” said guitarist Dave Haywood on the orange carpet just hours before the group began their winning night. “You just never know when you write a song and you go into the studio and record it what it’s gonna do. And honestly this song took on a new life when we went into the studio,” explained lead vocalist Hillary Scott. “Whenever we heard that this song was getting picked up and played on pop radio, we were completely shocked, but excited because that just means more people are hearing it. We want to headline tours very soon, so the more people that hear it, the better. It’s bringing light to the country music genre, which we are so proud of.” Though they’ve had success from the very beginning of their career and picked up plenty of accolades already, including a Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals at this year’s Grammy Awards for “I Run to You,” singer Charles Kelley said “Need You Now” has taken them to a whole new level. “That song has changed our career so dramatically,” he said, noting that attendance at the group’s shows have doubled over the past three months thanks to a tune they admitted later in the night almost didn’t make it onto the album because they weren’t sure it was good enough. “They always say the power of a song … we never knew that would be the song. Out of all the songs we’ve written, we were like, ‘Oh, wow!’ I couldn’t believe that was the song.” For now, they’re the opening act for Tim McGraw, but they have plans for their own headlining tour in the fall. The big night began with a win for Song of the Year for “Need You Now,” which beat out tunes by Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and another big winner, Miranda Lambert. The group, who led all nominees with seven, were shocked again when they won Single Record of the Year a short time later for the same song. They went acoustic during the show for their performance of the lush ballad “American Honey,” which included a shout-out “Thank you, fans!” mid-song. “When we wrote ‘Need You Now,’ I don’t think we knew what we had on our hands,” Kelley said afterwards, noting that their label bosses insisted they put it on the album after hearing it the first time. “You never know where a song can take you, and tonight is probably the pinnacle of our career.” Related Photos 2010 Academy Of Country Music Awards Orange Carpet Related Artists Lady Antebellum

TIME Magazine Lists Fluoride as "Environmental Toxin"

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!!! A report from TIME.com lists among other household Items – Fluoride- as an “Environmental Toxin”. The article starts out, saying: “Chemicals in plastics and other products seem harmless, but mounting evidence links them to health problems — and Washington lacks the power to protect us” Of course, activists and scientists have for years been aware of fluoride’s toxicity, but propaganda and Big Pharma have sought to keep these facts from the general public by showing fluoride in a favorable light through the controlled media. The article went on to say that “Government studies support current fluoride levels in tap water, but studies on long-term exposure and cancers are ongoing”. What It Is: A form of the basic element fluorine Found In: Toothpaste, tap water Health Hazards: Neurotoxic and potentially tumorigenic if swallowed; the American Dental Association advises that children under 2 not use fluoride toothpaste What You Should Know: Government studies support current fluoride levels in tap water, but studies on long-term exposure and cancers are ongoing So, What are the lethal levels for humans? As of April 7, 1997, the United States FDA (Food & Drug Administration) required that all fluoride toothpastes sold in the U.S. carry the following poison warning: WARNING: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately Potentially fatal dose = 5 mg of fluoride per kg of bodyweight. Ingestion of fluoride can produce gastrointestinal discomfort at doses at least 15 to 20 times lower (0.2–0.3 mg/kg) than lethal doses. [7][8] A 2-year-old, for example, may experience gastrointestinal distress upon ingesting sufficient amounts of flavored toothpaste. Between 1989 and 1994, over 628 people—mostly children—were treated after ingesting too much fluoride from their toothpaste. Gastrointestinal symptoms appear to be the most common problem reported. [9] In 1986 the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established a maximum contaminant level (MCL) for fluoride at a concentration of 4 milligrams per litre (mg/L), which is the legal limit of natural fluoride allowed in the water. In 2006, a 12-person committee of the US National Research Council (NRC) reviewed the health risks associated with fluoride consumption[12] and unanimously concluded that the maximum contaminant level of 4 mg/L should be lowered. The EPA has yet to act on the NRC's recommendation.[13][14] The limit was previously 1.4 – 2.4 mg/L, but it was raised to 4 mg/L in 1985.[15] Excessive Fluoride consumption in studies has been shown to be the culprit in the following; A weakening of bones, leading to an increase in hip and wrist fracture Adverse effects on the kidneys possible liver damage Chromosomal damage and interference with DNA repair a correlation between increased fluoride and low IQ suppressive effects on the thyroid While it is refreshing to see the truth about Fluoride being published in the mainstream media, it is disappointing to see, that when most people are told about the devastating effects of Fluoride in our drinking water, toothpaste, and other household items – they ignore the facts, or even categorize these facts as just another “Conspiracy theory”. http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u205/Crowcaller/2005-5-15-fluoride1reals22.jp… Read more: http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1976909_1976895_19768… http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/completelist/0,29569,1976909,00.html#… added by: Dagum

L.A will have Cost Cutting Plans Implemented

“There are no easy decisions or simple ways to solve this budget crisis,” Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said. “But as the CEO of this great city, it is my responsibility to make these difficult, but necessary, decisions to steer the city out of this crisis and onto solid financial ground.” These words came L.A’s mayor who has announced Tuesday for a plan to shut down all city services — except for public safety and revenue-generating positions — twice a week beginning Monday in an effort to solve the city’s budget crisis. Day before this announcement, the Department of Water and Power said that they will not pay the city’s $73 million general fund. City Controller Wendy Greuel said, the city’s general fund will be negative $10 million on May 5 because of this. She called the situation “the most urgent fiscal crisis” in the city’s recent history. She urged the mayor to transfer $90 million from the city’s reserve funds so that she could pay city employees and the city’s bills.
