Reality TV is a “guilty pleasure” that might not be so “guilty” anymore… VH1 Announces The New Line-Up Of Reality TV Shows For The Fall This fall is going to be huge for VH1 because some of our absolute favorite television personalities will be back on our screen. As we’ve mentioned a few times this week, Ev And Ocho and their wedding event are slated to be a huge a draw on the network, and their show premieres on Labor Day (September 3) at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. What else is in store this coming September? We’ve got the return of T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle on Labor Day as well, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and Basketball Wives L.A. will be back on Monday September 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. As beach bags and bathing suits are put into storage and backpacks are filled with textbooks, class is back in session at VH1 with premieres all September long. VH1 has a full Monday night schedule with the series premiere of “Basketball Wives” spin-off “Ev And Ocho,” the return of “T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle” and the second season premiere of “Basketball Wives: LA.” VH1 also celebrates the rise of rap music in VH1′s Emmy Award-winning franchise VH1 Rock Docs presentation of “Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap,” directed by Ice-T. Paranormal Activity 4 Trailer: Prepare to Be Scared!

Paranormal Activity 4 hits theaters on October 19 and while no plot details for this follow-up have been divulged yet, the first extended trailer for the thriller gives us some idea of what to expect: Shaky camera work. A lot of screaming. A shadowy figure lurking in the background. No, folks, this installment of the franchise won’t differ much from the first three, but you know what they say: if it ain’t broke, and it scares the living crap out of all movie goers, don’t fix it. Steven Tyler on American Idol: Not For Me!

When Steven Tyler departed American Idol last month, he said in a statement that he “loved every minute” of the experience. But in a new Rolling Stone interview, the rocker sounds a very different tune. “It was something to do while the storm blew by, to be honest,” Tyler tells the magazine, adding that he joined the panel mainly due to spats with his Aerosmith bandmates at the time. Once he was actually on board, the singer says Idol just was “not [his] cup of tea.” Tyler has nothing negative to say about Randy Jackson or Jennifer Lopez – or about taking home $10 million per year, we’re guessing – but he really didn’t enjoy criticizing aspiring artists. “The show’s about kids and what you do to nurture their talent,” he said. “They wanted me to take the piss out of the kids and I don’t have that in me. That’s not what I’m about.” American Idol, of course has moved on from Tyler and from J. Lo. Mariah Carey has signed on, with Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams both rumored to join her.

When Will We Next See Robert Pattinson?

So we now know where Robert Pattinson is holed up : inside the vacation home of Water for Elephants costar Reese Witherspoon. But when will the public actually lay eyes on this smoldering superstar, whose heart was recently torn out and stomped all over by Kristen Stewart? It’s sounding more and more like August 13 . That’s the date on which Cosmopolis premieres in New York City and on which Pattinson is expected to walk the red carpet. He’ll then field questions from the media on the following day, despite recent rumors stating otherwise. ” Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” his rep said in a statement today. “No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Jermaine Jackson Withdraws From MJ Estate Rebellion … Mostly

Jermaine Jackson, one of the main players in the family revolt against the Michael Jackson Estate, has officially defected from the rebellion … mostly. While he has “deep reservations” about their conduct, Jermaine is bowing out of official efforts to challenge the power of his late brother’s executors. “I rescind my signature from the letter which was sent to the Estate, and which should never have gone public,” Jermaine Tweeted Wednesday. “I still hold deep reservations about many issues involving the Estate,” he adds. “I will continue to bring scrutiny and a resolute voice wherever we have great cause for concern. But the way to address such matters is through the proper channels and via a private dialogue, not public conflict.” “In this spirit, I offer this statement by way of extending an olive-branch.” That would be long overdue, following their apparent coup attempt to wrest guardianship of Michael’s kids away from their grandmother and guardian. Jermaine and Tito are no longer backing the family’s bid to oust the executors, who they even suggested are actively mistreating Katherine Jackson . The signatures of Janet Jackson – who was accused of a physical and verbal altercation with Paris Jackson – Rebbie, and Randy remain on the letter. Mitt “Racist” Romney: “Jewish Culture Makes Israel More Successful Than Palestinians” And Goes In On Iran! [Video]

Mitt Romney Says That Jewish Culture Makes Israel A Success This guy is something else: Mitt Romney told Jewish donors Monday that their culture is part of what has allowed them to be more economically successful than the nearby Palestinians, outraging Palestinian leaders who called his comments racist and out of touch. “As you come here and you see the GDP per capita, for instance, in Israel which is about $21,000 dollars, and compare that with the GDP per capita just across the areas managed by the Palestinian Authority, which is more like $10,000 per capita, you notice such a dramatically stark difference in economic vitality,” the Republican presidential candidate told about 40 wealthy donors who breakfasted around a U-shaped table at the luxurious King David Hotel. The reaction of Palestinian leaders to Romney’s comments was swift and pointed. “What is this man doing here?” said Saeb Erekat, a top Palestinian official. “Yesterday, he destroyed negotiations by saying Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and today he is saying Israeli culture is more advanced than Palestinian culture. Isn’t this racism?” The economic disparity between the Israelis and the Palestinians is actually much greater than Romney stated. Israel had a per capita gross domestic product of about $31,000 in 2011, while the West Bank and Gaza had a per capita GDP of just over $1,500, according to the World Bank. Romney, seated next to billionaire casino owner Sheldon Adelson at the head of the table, told donors at his fundraiser that he had read books and relied on his own business experience to understand why the difference is so great. “And as I come here and I look out over this city and consider the accomplishments of the people of this nation, I recognize the power of at least culture and a few other things,” Romney said, citing an innovative business climate, the Jewish history of thriving in difficult circumstances and the “hand of providence.” Romney, in comparing the Israeli and Palestinian economies, made no mention of the fact that Israel has controlled the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem since capturing them in the 1967 war. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, but continues to control access, and has enforced a crippling border blockade since the Islamic militant Hamas seized the territory in 2007. In the West Bank, Israel retains overall control, and Palestinians only have limited self-rule. Israel controls all border crossings in and out of the West Bank, and continues to restrict Palestinian trade and movement. The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund have said repeatedly that the Palestinian economy can only grow if Israel lifts those restrictions. Source youtube

SMH!!! Rep. Michelle Bachmann is once again making headlines for her claims that prominent Democrats are affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) laughed off claims by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) that he has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and said she makes such baseless accusations because, deep down, she thinks Muslims are “evil.” Bachmann was already in hot water this week for saying Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, may be part of a Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy to infiltrate the U.S. government. Despite being criticized by leaders of her own party, Bachmann on Thursday said Ellison, one of two Muslims in Congress, also has connections to the hard-line Islamic group. “He has a long record of being associated with [the Council on American–Islamic Relations] and with the Muslim Brotherhood,” Bachmann said during an interview on Glenn Beck’s radio show. If she accused a fellow congressman of being associated with a terrorist organization and can offer no proof, censure isn’t enough. She should be removed from the House. It is very important the we the voters stop these “Joe McCarthy” types from exerting their power in Congress. As as nation, we can NOT experience a repeat performance of McCarthy with Muslims being the replacement for Commies. Source
