Dear Bossip: I Prayed Before Plunging Further With Him & I Learned He Is A Con Man With Multiple Felonies

Dear Bossip , I’m going to get right to the point, Hun! I met this guy while at work a couple of weeks ago. After helping him with his retail related needs, we began to chat. He told me he was married for 11 years and divorced for one year, had a successful auto wholesale business, three children, etc. He eventually asked me out. I thought he was handsome, well-spoken, well-mannered, and well-dressed so I allowed him to take me to dinner. After a few dates we really seemed to hit it off. So, instead of plunging in head first I prayed and asked the Lord to show me what purpose this person would serve in my life. After my prayer, I got the urge to ‘Google’ him. During my search I found out that was actually married twice, there were several complaints listed online from customers he swindled or tried to swindle in various ways! On top of that, this knee-grow has accumulated 15 various misdemeanors AND felonies from 1997 to 2010!!! I immediately hit him with the, “I’m not over my ex,” line and told him that I could no longer see him. My line was clearly ineffective as he will not stop calling and texting me! When I ignore his attempts at communication he shows up at my job! My friends say that I should just tell him that I know he’s a crook, but I’m kinda scared! What should I do to get him to leave me alone? P.S.- For the record, I have not given him even the slightest whiff of the cookie! I’m a lady! – Doesn’t Want To Be His Next Felony Dear Ms. Doesn’t Want To Be His Next Felony , Girl, I’m over here shouting and doing the praise dance to Souled Out by Hezekiah Walker. You deserve the You Ain’t Gon’ Fool Me And Have Me In A Trick Bag Award . I love the fact that before you went any further with this man, you got on your knees and sought the Lord for guidance about your next move with him and what purpose this man would serve in your life. If only half the people who write in seeking advice would do the same before they jump in the bed with someone and end up pregnant, broke, with bad credit, emotionally drained, mentally stressed, and cluster f***ed, then they wouldn’t have the problem, stress, aggravation, and woe is me attitude. But, lo and behold, we have a woman who used the common sense God gave her, and she used her brain to actually think before she made a move, and look what we have BOOM! BAM! POW! She was saved and spared a life of heartache, misery, and pain. You say you got the ‘urge,’ and I’m going to say, “You were instructed by that small little voice of God telling you to ‘Google him!’” You see, ladies, gentlemen, chickens, roosters, birds, and donkeys, this is how you do it!!! Before you go any further with anyone, and jump in the bed, spread your legs, get on your back, and let your emotions run your life, you should seek some type of spiritual counsel or higher consciousness of understanding to give you guidance, a sign, a word, or a smack upside the head letting you know, “No you don’t! Pump your brakes and take it slow. THIS PERSON IS NOT THE ONE!” And, you see what she discovered; He was actually married twice, and there were several complaints listed online from customers he swindled or tried to swindle in various ways. He also has 15, not 1 or 2, but 15 misdemeanors AND felonies from 1997 to 2010! Girl, he is a career criminal. One or two things could have happened: He would have gotten hold of your bank statements, social security number, and the next thing you know you would have had several businesses, cars, and other types of –ish in your name without your knowledge. Or, once you started sexing him, and he would have blown your back out, he would have came to you with some sorry ass lame line talkin’ ‘bout he wants you to invest in his next new business venture and you would have been handing over your life savings. SMDH! I really do commend you on doing the right thing and deciding not to be involved with this master criminal, but, I’m like your friends. I would put his ass on blast! Freak that, “I’m not over my ex,” line. He doesn’t understand that type of ‘leave me alone’ tactic. He is a swindler and hustler. So, unfortunately, you’ve got to put on your ‘Knee-Grow-Be-Gone-Swindling-Ass Fighting Gloves’ and give him a quick one two punch. BOOP! BOOP! So, print out all the documentation you discovered online about him. Laminate it, and put it in a nice binder and then make three sections with color coded tabs: Yellow color tab for married twice instead of once. Have all the information under this section. Blue color tab for all the complaints filed against him from customers he swindled or tried to swindle. Have the dates, names, and complaints highlighted in yellow marker. Red color tab for all the misdemeanors and felonies he’s been charged with. I would get all the court documentations and highlight them in yellow marker. The next time he arrives at your job, you say, “Oh, hey, ______________. I’m so glad you’re here.” This is when you reach under the counter and pull out the binder. “I want to show you some things.” And, then proceed to flip through the binder and review each section with him. After you finish, you say, “Shhhhh, there is no need to respond. I don’t want to hear it. But, based on this information do you honestly think a woman like me would be remotely interested in a man like you?” Then slowly move toward your purse and pull out your glock, and if you don’t have a CCW license, then pull out your mace, and proceed to let him know, “I have a restraining order of protection. You have 10 seconds to leave and never harass, call, text, hand gesture, glance, or even drive in the same lane as me.” Then look up at the clock and then back at him, and then say, “You now have 2 seconds before the cops will have to pull me off your ass.” And, trust me, that will put an end to it all. LMBAO! But, for real, you do need to let him know what you know about him so that he will stop thinking his behavior of showing up at your job, calling, texting, and harassing you is cute. He thinks you’re playing hard to get. Let him know you’re not playing hard to get. You’re just not playing! So, don’t be scared. Remember, God has not given you a spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind. Check out the video below and get your praise dance on!! – Terrance Dean Hey Bossip Fam, what do you think? Madonna’s Greatest Tunes: ‘W.E.’ Cast Weighs In!

From ‘Like a Prayer’ to ‘La Isla Bonita,’ stars pick their favorite songs by the ‘W.E.’ director. Merry Christmas! Here’s An Alternative Lady Christmas Songlist

Yeah, I can’t get over Rooney Mara’s Dragon Tattoo getup. It’s so… dated? Swedish? Remarkably cliche? And yet entrancing? Anyway, it has alternative connotations, and that brings me to Movieline’s Christmas indulgence of the day: alternative women covers of yuletide classics. I couldn’t find an embed of Liz Phair’s recent “Baby It’s Cold Outside” cover with the band Wheat, please consider that the unofficial sixth entry on this list. Take us to the Grinch, Aimee Mann! The glorious and still-somehow-underrated Aimee Mann’s superior Christmas disc One More Drifter in the Snow contains a bunch of amazing covers, but the gnarliest one has got to be “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.” Super droll, winking, and cool. As always for the Oscar-nominated Mann. Sinead O’Connor, perhaps the single most poignant voice of the past 25 years, has covered “Ode to Billie Joe,””Chiquitita,” and “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina” with great success, but I’m particularly partial to her version of “Silent Night.” It’s the perfect forum for her childlike, yet commanding tone. Kate Bush. There is no other Kate Bush. In this ’79 Christmas special, she woos you with that ethereal voice that trilled about the plight of Cathy and Heathcliff in “Wuthering Heights.” Now that every hipster in sight waits eagerly for her new releases, acquaint yourself with the kooky wraith we first met on The Kick Inside . Tori Amos is an obvious heir to Kate Bush’s legacy of cooing vulnerability and mystical lyrics, but her cover skills are pretty singular. Check out her live versions of “Father Figure” and “Like a Prayer” for maximum intimacy, but this Christmas jam is also sufficient. Patti Smith’s brief cover of “White Christmas” is lovely. Since you presumably already know her covers of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Rolling in the Deep,” you’ll be refreshed to find tiny version of Irving Berlin’s classic.

My name is Ashley. I’m 14 and I’m from the…

My name is Ashley. I’m 14 and I’m from the Philippines . I’m gonna start my story with the day I knew Justin will be having a concert in our country, which was in December. When I first knew that he’d be in the Philippines, me and my friends Viel and Crismille were really excited and couldn’t wait to buy the tickets. Since it was December, I had a lot of money because it was near Christmas. I had enough money to buy the expensive ticket, but I really wanted to be in the VIP section so I had to save more. Then January came, and I didn’t eat much during lunch so I can save enough money. Then one day, my friend Viel saw her friend, which is also a Belieber. Then we knew that her sister works at the company who sells tickets for the concert. She said that the company will be giving her sister backstage passes. Viel asked her if we could come backstage as well. She told us that she needs to ask her sister first. Since I knew that me, Viel, and Crismille will be backstage during Justin’s concert, we planned a lot of stuff to do while we’re backstage. We planned to make him a scrapbook where we planned to put our letters to Justin, and other stuff. We even planned to give Jazzy a birthday gift, since Justin will have his concert on May. Then a few months passed, and it was already May. I don’t remember what day that was, but we heard from Viel’s friend that we can’t go backstage anymore. So in Facebook, we made a group for Beliebers. There were only members, me, Viel, and Crismille. There’s a talent show here in the Philippines, which is called “Showtime”. We thought that Justin will be guesting there, since Katy Perry showed up there before. So we called the TV station, but no one would answer. So we lost hope in meeting Justin. Then one day, I knew that there was a social networking site called “Beliebbook”, which is for Beliebers only. Then I talked to different people from different countries, and asked if how much they enjoyed during Justin’s concert. I got really jealous because some of them even went to his concert twice. FYI, the concert venue was in an open grounds, which means even if you don’t have a ticket, you CAN see Justin. Then I talked to a girl in Beliebbook, which is a Filipina. I told her that I still have no ticket for the concert. Then she told me, “N ever Say Never”. Then one day, Crismille asked me and Viel if we want to go to her house the following day. Since most of our plans are fail, we prayed together through chat in Facebook. and I’m the one who lead the prayer. And yes, we went to her house the following day. We don’t know what to do, so we decided to make a ”Never Say Never” shirt, which we wore on the concert. A few weeks passed, and there’s ONE WEEK LEFT, before the concert. Crismille kept on posting in our group in Facebook sad posts and stuff and I commented, “Never say never, we’ll go to that concert. We’ll see Justin.” And after a few days, Crismille called me saying that there are still tickets!  Before the company said that they’re sold out. After she called me, I cried and cried and cried. So with my Dad, we went to a mall near my Mom’s office. We did our grocery there. While walking, the radio in the grocery suddenly played, “One Less Lonely Girl” which made me cry more. I gave all my savings to my mom, then we bought tickets the next day . Let’s skip to the weekend before the concert. That night, I prepared my clothes, my things, even painted my nails purple. So the next day, I was really excited. Me and my friends were screaming throughout the trip. When we went to the venue, the line was sort of long. We were there 2pm, even if the concert will start in 8pm . Since the venue was near a mall, my mom and Crismille’s mom had to wait in line while me and my friends go aound the mall. We saw TV stations interviewing girls, then in the mall, we saw different Bieber shirts. When we got out of the mall and went back in line, there was this black car, which we’re pretty sure  it was Justin. Then everyone screamed. So me and my friends went behind the stage but we didn’t see him. We went back in line. Skip to the concert time. LOL. I cried 2 times during the concert, because I finally saw my idol, my inspiration, Justin Bieber. I don’t know how to describe my feelings on during the concert. When going home, beside us was a black car, which was the one we saw earlier, so for sure, Justin was there. Haha. As I got home, I went straight to bed, I can’t stop crying. I told myself, “I can’t believe it. I saw him. Justin Bieber. His saying Never Say Never really works.” The next day, me and my family will bring my grandparents to the airport. While on our way to the airport, I put the CD on play. We went past his hotel, I cried while in the car, I cried even more when ”Favorite Girl” played since it’s live. (I was playing the My Worlds Acoustic) I hope you like my story. Thanks. Go here to read the rest: My name is Ashley. I’m 14 and I’m from the…

SMH: GOP Presidential Wannabee Rick Perry’s Spiritual Advisor Is A Demon-Seeing Granddaughter Of A KKK Leader

After all that fuss over Obama’s pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright , this GOP wankster oughta know good and well we’re not having this beyotch all up in the mix. It turns out Governor Rick Perry is all tied up with this Alice Patterson broad who is known for her extreme hate speech against gays and democrats… and hate is all in her blood anyway cuz her granddaddy was rockin’ the white hood back in the day. GOP presidential candidate RICK PERRY has tied himself to a controversial spiritual adviser who political sources say could wreck his Whites House run! Christian activist ALICE PATTERSON, whose grandfather The ENQUIRER learned was in the Ku Klux Klan, believes the Democratic Party is literally controlled by demonic spirits, and she’s drawn fire for blasting ex-President George W. Bush, condemning gays and declaring that widows who don’t remarry should be denied aid. Gov. Perry shared the stage with Patterson and even hugged her, when he spoke to a 30,000- strong crowd at The Response prayer event in Houston, Texas, on Aug. 6. Patterson is an “apostle” with a Christian group called the New Apostolic Reformation, and helped organize the prayer session. Now political pundits are comparing her inflammatory statements to those made by President Barack Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright. “Wright almost destroyed Obama’s chances, and Patterson could do the same for Perry,” a political insider told The ENQUIRER. We’re pretty sure Perry doesn’t need this broad to ruin his chances… he’s doing that well enough on his own. SMH! Source

Biggie To Bon Jovi: Killa Kyleon’s Many Inspirations

The seasoned Southern spitter got his start running alongside Big Pokey, Chris Ward and DJ Screw’s Screwed Up Click, before really making an impact with Slim Thug’s group Boss Hogg Outlawz. It’s his gruff vocal tone, butter flow and hard-nosed lyrics that make Killa Kyleon a fan favorite. On his latest mixtape, Candy Paint N Texas Plates 2, Killa puts it all on display. With the tape’s 21 soul-drenched tracks, Killa Ky hooks up notable producers like Lex Luger, Cookin’ Soul and Cy Frye to lay his sound bed. On “Top Down,” Killa spits over a dreamy loop that incorporates a small sample from the Notorious B.I.G.’s 1995 song “Who Shot Ya,” so it’s only right that Kyleon tries his hand over the classic Biggie beat on the next track. His inspiration isn’t all rap. On “Bodies Hit the Floor,” Killa recruits Bun B and producer Lex Luger to add a hip-hop twist to Drowning Pool’s 2001 metal track “Bodies.” It doesn’t stop there: On “Hustler’s Prayer,” Big K.R.I.T. samples Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” as Ky goes in lyrically against his rap competitors. Taylor Swift’s Speak Now Tour Brings Honky Tonk To NJ

Newark, New Jersey, arena treated to aerialists, Broadway stage setup. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Swift (file) Photo: Getty Images NEWARK, New Jersey — A little bit of Music City took over Newark on Tuesday night when Taylor Swift stormed the stage at the Prudential Center to an excited crowd of female devotees for the latest stop on her Speak Now Tour . Sparks flew as Swift took the stage in a glittering gold dress to open the show with the aptly titled “Sparks Fly.” As she previously promised, the theatrics were kicked up a few notches since her Fearless tour , thanks to aerialists, a huge Broadway stage setup and stop-motion animation. Swift played many instruments throughout the two-hour set, including guitar, banjo and piano. The show included a wide range of oldies and newbies, such as the Speak Now hits “Mine” and “The Story of Us.” “When you’re on tour, you mark down in your head the crowds that are the craziest,” she told the room. “I don’t know what it is about you … but you come together and you form the super crowd.” For “Our Song” and “Mean,” Taylor took from the theme of her “Mean” video and put together a honky tonk vibe right there in New Jersey. One of the most moving moments of the night came next. Sitting at a white grand piano in an ice-blue gown, Swift slowed things down for “Back to December” as glittering confetti fell from the ceiling. Amid a whirlwind of costume and set changes, she played a number of other songs including “Better Than Revenge,” and then, in a very theatrical moment during “Speak Now,” Swift acted out crashing a wedding. She eventually stole the groom away, as she sings in the song, and the pair ran through the crowd together. From a smaller stage mid-arena, Taylor performed “Fearless” with a ukulele and followed it with the breakup tune “Last Kiss.” The night was all about the highs and lows of love, but it was also about the state she would be playing in that night and for the next three nights. She performed a mini ode to Jersey, as she called it, as she transitioned from Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On a Prayer” into “You Belong With Me.” This marked the perfect time for her to make her way back to the stage, where she finished the song. During the haunting “Dear John,” the pyro matched her vocal fireworks. She closed out the main part of her set with ballerinas during “Enchanted,” more aerialists during “See You Again” and a big thank you to her fans for “Long Live.” For the encore, she played two fan favorites, capping off her epic show with “Fifteen” and “Love Story,” during which she flew over the crowd in a balcony. Like any good stage production, the show ended with everyone in the cast taking their final bows alongside Nashville’s most-glittering show woman. Have you seen Taylor Swift on tour?
