Beyonce has given birth to a baby girl on Saturday evening in New York, a source has told the Houston Chronicle . Both are said to be doing OK. The baby girl is the first child for Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z who will be married for 4 years this year. A very pregnant Beyonce checked into Lenox Hill hospital last night under the name “Ingrid Jackson,” a hospital staffer told the NY Daily News. Staffers at the hospital said that Beyonce and her Jay-Z, rented out the hospital’s entire fourth floor for $1.3 million. With reports that a New York hospital was put on alert for a celebrity birth, the rumors went into full swing over the last few days. Some websites even posted the rumor that the singer had given birth to a baby girl and named her Tiana-May Carter on Thursday, December 29th. Jessica Simpson to Have a Girl! Or a Boy!

Jessica Simpson will find out the gender of her baby on Monday, but the singer took a guess last night at the launch of her sister’s clothing line in New York City. “I think it’ a girl,” the pregnant star told People , while fiance Eric Johnson chimed in with: “I think it’s a boy.” One of them will probably be correct. Why is Jessica – seen above getting some practice in with nephew Bronx – even learning her first child’s sex ahead of time? “I like to plan things out,” Simpson told Us Weekly at the same event. “It’ll be good to know what colors to make the nursery. I’m obsessed with thinking about what it’s going to look like.” We’re just glad there are no signs here of a pregnancy in crisis, as a recent report claimed . Her current, live-in beau, Kyle King, is a much better influence on Maci, and frankly, on Bentley, her three-year-old son with Ryan. Life’s good for the redhead. So why is she jealous of Ryan’s new girlfriend, Dalis Connell? “I want him to be happy because he excels when he’s happy,” Maci Bookout said of Edwards … but that was before he started dating, and talking marriage with Connell. Not surprisingly, she’s singing a different tune now. “Maci has been pretty jealous,” a close source says of Ryan’s baby mama. “Dalis feels like it could be because she and Ryan may actually get married before Maci does or maybe because Maci is not getting Ryan’s attention anymore.” But Ryan and Dalis are trying to rise above Maci’s envy. “Their relationship is definitely true love. They have both been completely supportive of each other. But Maci clearly still has feelings for Ryan. And Kyle can’t be too happy about it.” We’ll see how this plays out. Mariah Yeater Bombshell: Ex-Boyfriend Originally Accused of Paternity

Wait, Mariah Yeater: who’s the daddy?!? This 20-year old has been in the news all week because she’s filed a paternity lawsuit against Justin Bieber, alleging he knocked her up after a concert in late 2010 ( which he has denied ). But a woman named Frances Lippe has now come forward with major scoop related to this claim. Lippe tells TMZ that Yeater once dated her grandson, John Terranova. In December, about one month after she says Bieber got her pregnant, Yeater reportedly showed up at Lippe’s house and got into a major altercation with Terranova, stemming for her assertion that HE was the father of her child. Lippe says Yeater broke a window in the home and slapped her grandson three times in the face. Police were called to the scene and Yeater was booked on charges of battery. The family never heard from Mariah again. On July 6, she gave birth to a boy – and did NOT list anyone as the father.

Nia Long‘s baby is a blessing from God, the actress admitted to Ebony magazine in it’s November issue. The 40-year-old pregnant mom says she turned to faith when she was told she would have trouble conceiving at her age. “I honestly asked God for this. I remember I was driving home from the doctor, and I called [my boyfriend] Ime, and I was like, ‘Babe, I’m really kind of sad right now. The doctor actually said if I wanted to have more children, it would be hard.’ The next time [Ime] came to visit, he said, ‘I don’t believe that.’ I said, ‘You don’t?’ He said, ‘No.’ And I said, ‘Good, me neither.’ Then I got pregnant.” She hopes other aging women don’t get deterred either: “The medical [profession] tries to tell every woman, ‘Have your babies before 40 because you shouldn’t have children after 40.’ Society tells us, ‘Get married before 30, because no man wants a woman after 30.’ You are not half the woman you’re gonna be until you turn 30. You’re not even half of that woman yet.
