‘True Blood’ Rookies Introduce Their New Characters

So much so that HBO employed the Twitter hashtag #waitingsucks in its “True Blood” marketing campaigns — and fans couldn’t agree more. Luckily, the waiting game is about to end with the premiere of the fourth season on HBO this Sunday. MTV News spent some quality time with the cast at the show’s premiere earlier this week, where we asked the newest faces of “True Blood” to introduce themselves to fans. Very minor spoilers ahead. “I play Naomi, I am a good friend of Tara,” newcomer Vedette Lim told us. And be advised to take Lim’s use of “friend of Tara” loosely. “I’m a cage fighter, clearly,” she added, showing off her not-so-intimidating guns. “I’m a vampire, if you can see the pale skin,” said Aaron Perilo, who plays devious Blackburn. “I’m pretty old so I’m very fast. Lindsay Lohan: I’d Like to Get Out More …

Lindsay Lohan is really getting screwed over by the criminal justice system. Serving her jail sentence inside a $2.25 million, 3,000 beach house in Venice Beach, Calif., where she relaxes , parties and gets paid big bucks to shoot commercials? That’ll teach her! In a new interview , Lohan opens up about her tough life. “I’m a very social person, and I like being outside, especially in Venice Beach. I’d like to get out more – just go out and have dinner,” Lindsay says. “I was really upset not being able to go to see my little brother (Dakota “Cody” Lohan) at his birthday party. He just turned 16. That bummed me out.” Of course, there are silver linings. Like NOT BEING BEHIND BARS . “I’ve been having a lot of work-related meetings. Sometimes my friends come over. And I get to see my sister, Ali, which is nice,” Lindsay admits. “When my friends come over, they’re not drinking,” notes the star, wearing an ankle monitor. “Alcohol is not in my house, it’s not part of my life.” But, have no fear, celebrity gossip photographers. When Lindsay is “released” on June 29, it won’t necessarily mean the end of nightclubs for her. “I don’t think you should ever say never,” she explains. Great. Only time will tell, but Lindsay is steadfast that she’s clean for good: “I’ve grown up and I’m willing to do what I have to do to prove that.” “This may come as a shock, but I mean it: I want to start my community service. I want to finish that so I can work in August and September.” “You go through experiences. I do understand that I need to gain some of the respect back, but I’m willing to work hard for that.
