Lady Gaga Apologizes for Music Video Delay, Slams Greedy Betrayers

Lady Gaga has been betrayed. And she is none too happy about it. In an open letter posted to her Little Monsters website yesterday, the singer apologized to fans for the delay in her ” Do What U Want ” music video and blamed the snafu on people who “left me on my own to damage control any problems” following a hip operation last year. The singer talked of how she was “betrayed” by ex-employees who “gravely mismanaged” her “time and health.” “They want billions. Then they need trillions,” writes Gaga. “I was not enough for some people. They wanted more.” The artist does not call anyone out by name, but Gaga split from manager Troy Carter in November due to creative differences. “The next few months of ARTPOP will truly be its beginning,” Gaga promises. “Because those who did not care about ARTPOP’s success are now gone, and the dreams I have been planning can now come to fruition.” She then concludes with an apology and a vow: “Please forgive me that I did not foresee this coming, I never thought after all the years of hard work that those I called friends and partners would ever care so little at a time I needed them the most. “Let me be for you the Goddess that I know I truly am.” We have a strong feeling Gaga’s millions and millions of fans will allow her to do just that.

Gia Allemand: Remembered, Mourned on The Bachelor Special

ABC prepared viewers for Juan Pabloc Galavis as The Bachelor last night, airing a special countdown to tonight’s Season 18 premiere that took viewers behind the scenes with the hopeful husband. Toward the end of the hour, however, the mood went from sexy to somber as Chris Harrison and company paid tribute to Gia Allemand. The former contestant committed suicide last August. Harrison opened the moving segment by introducing clips of Allemand talking about life and love. “I just hope people remember my kind heart,” she said in the footage. “I have a kind heart for people. That’s what I hope people remember me for.” She also said she wanted to have two children and to adopt a baby from China. Later in the tribute, Allemand’s mom, Donna Micheletti, spok about the tragedy of her daughter doing the unthinkable at age 29. “Gia took her own life, and it is heart-wrenching, and I wouldn’t want to see any other parent go through this,” Micheletti said through tears. “There is plenty of help for everyone. I just miss her… “Gia was always full of such life, and she’d walk into a room and you’d feel her presence. She’d light up that room like sunshine.” It was sad stuff, but also an appropriate, touching move by ABC. Season 18 of The Bachelor officially kicks off tonight at 9/8c.

Pedo-Files: Verizon Turns In Baltimore Deacon For Storing Graphic Taped Child Freaky Films On iPad And Computer

Can you hear them now? Lock him up! Verizon Turns In Deacon For Pedophilia A longtime deacon at a Fullerton church was charged Friday with possessing “numerous files of child films,” Baltimore County police said. Via Baltimore Sun reports: William Steven Albaugh, 67, a deacon at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church on Belair Road, was arrested at his Nottingham home at 7:45 a.m. Police had searched Albaugh’s Treadway Court home and said they found images of children on his Verizon Online account and on thumb drives. Police do not believe that children at St. Joseph’s were victims. Albaugh declined to comment when reached by phone Friday. He told police he has viewed child flicks since the 1970s, when he would go to adult bookstores in Baltimore, according to charging documents. Albaugh told police he saved the images to his computer but said he would never harm a child, the documents say. Police said they recovered numerous files, including graphic images and videos. According to a statement from the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Albaugh was ordained in 1996 and assigned to St. Joseph Church . He has been suspended from the church. “Neither the parish nor the Archdiocese has received any prior allegations against Mr. Albaugh, who successfully fulfilled all of the child & youth protection requirements of the Archdiocese, including a criminal history screening,” the statement said. The archdiocese is working to inform church members, the statement said, and encourages anyone to report abuse. Detectives began investigating Albaugh after Verizon Online notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Albaugh, a subscriber, had stored images of children engaged in sexual acts on the online cloud storage system, police said. Police recovered two CPU towers, a laptop computer, multiple storage devices and an iPad. Albaugh told police that he used the tablet to view graphic websites that include pictures of children, according to charging documents. Detectives located the images on his home computer under the use profile name “Bill,” the document said. St. Joseph’s is scheduled to hold a meeting at the church for parishioners and school families at 7 p.m. Monday. Officials from the archdiocese will be present to answer questions, according to the church website. Albaugh was released on $75,000 bond. The investigation is continuing, police said. To catch a predator….

Gary Johnson: Obama Will Win Reelection

Libertarian Party presidential candidate Gary Johnson says he thinks President Barack Obama will defeat Mitt Romney to win a second term this evening. “I think Obama’s going to win, that’s what I think,” Johnson said. As for his own support, the former New Mexico Governor said: “[My vote is] really spread out … I don’t think there’s any state I’m going to do better in than another.” Johnson, who’s on the ballot in 48 states and D.C., hovers in the low single digits in the polls. Still, he says he has no regrets at how things played out. “There’s nothing,” Johnson said. “I would ask that everybody look at it and maybe recognize that this is phenomenal that we spent $2 million and may get 5 percent.” “Maybe it doesn’t turn out that way at all – but we spent $2 million bucks and here we are playing in a game that by all accounts we should not be playing in.” A CNN Ohio poll released Friday had President Obama, a Democrat, at 47 percent, Republican nominee Romney at 44 percent and Gary Johnson at 5 percent. It doesn’t make much of a difference which of the major-party candidates wins, Johnson said, citing a list of similarities he sees between Obama and Romney’s policies. Would you vote for a third-party candidate?   Yes, the two-party system sucks! Maybe someday, but I actually like Obama/Romney No! Way to throw your vote away!
