Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is hammering President Obama for a recent campaign speech in which he told the crowd, “voting is the best revenge .” Obama: Revenge! Obama’s comment was part a familiar stump speech riff; if audience members boo Romney’s name, the president habitually says, “no no, don’t boo – vote!” In Springfield, Ohio, he said just that, adding, “Voting is the best revenge.” In response, his challenger tried to play up the remark (and the current White House occupant) as divisive, telling audiences, “vote for love of country, not revenge.” Asked to explain the word choice, the Obama campaign said that Romney is “closing his campaign with an ad full of scare tactics that’s frightening workers in Ohio.” Sigh. Either way, it’ll all be over tomorrow. Who ya got?! Obama-Biden Romney-Ryan View Poll »
Rush Limbaugh Calls Governor Christie ‘A Fat Fool’ For Hurricane Sandy Bi-Partisan Actions Meat-headed motor mouth Rush Limbaugh is doing what he does best and talking that talk in the worst way. This time the political prude targeted Republican NJ Governor Chris Christie for putting politics aside to work with President Obama in efforts to aid Hurricane Sandy victims . via Comedy Central President Barack Obama and Governor Chris Christie took a brotherly tour of New Jersey yesterday, each praising the others’ leadership as they surveyed damage in the state. But why the sudden comity? Why doesn’t Chris Christie reject federal aid in lieu of Mitt Romney’s canned garbanzo beans from Ohio? Or criticize the president for failing to appoint a horse judge as FEMA director? Or invite Paul Ryan into the state to cleanup all the debris that has already been cleared by DPW workers, like a real conservative leader? It could be that Christie actually cares about the state he governs, though Rush Limbaugh has an alternate explanation… “He’s fat and a fool. Don’t listen to Governor Christie. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about… “Christie’s the only Republican not just praising Obama, it’s a — let’s just put it this way. Is it wrong for one man to love another man? But that man love out there is isolated in the state of New Jersey.” Though this Comedy Central blog put this idiot Limbaugh on full blast in the most hilarious way possible, this fool needs to reign in his fawkery on a serious note and join his fellow douchebag Donald Trump in the aint-isht-people-of-the-year corner.
First Donald Trump and now this shady azz character?? Former Bush FEMA Director Criticizes President Obama For Quick Response To Hurricane Sandy Did the GOP have a bath salts and booger-sugar bash last night while President Obama was busy addressing the nation and doing his duty as President to help brace the east coast for the wrath of hurricane Sandy? Because this is the only rational explanation that we can think of for why these fools continue to go public with these dumb and dumber statements like this one.. via Think Progress Former FEMA Director Michael Brown offered criticism of President Obama’s early responses to Hurricane Sandy yesterday, including a dig at the administration’s response to last month’s attack in Libya. Yesterday, ahead of the storm’s pummeling of the eastern seaboard, Brown gave an interview to the local alternative paper, the Denver Westword, on how he believed the Obama administration was responding to Sandy too quickly and that Obama had spoken to the press about Sandy’s potential effect too early. Brown turned then to a reliable right-wing attack on the President’s response to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi that killed four Americans: “One thing he’s gonna be asked is, why did he jump on [the hurricane] so quickly and go back to D.C. so quickly when in…Benghazi, he went to Las Vegas?” Brown says. “Why was this so quick?… At some point, somebody’s going to ask that question…. This is like the inverse of Benghazi.” It must be azz backwards day. Cause that made absolutely NO sense. SMH.
