I have to say that I was at first confused by the live mic joke that started Obama’s set. I caught on pretty fast however, and when the toilet flushes I was laughing out loud. My daughter and I watched it together, and there were certainly portions of it that you HAD to be very well informed about politics and current events to pick up on. I kept having to tell her I wold explain it later, because… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : The Immoral Minority Discovery Date : 29/04/2012 06:10 Number of articles : 2

White House Correspondents Dinner: President Obama Mocks Mitt Romney, Donald Trump, Himself

With political, media and entertainment A-listers in attendance, President Obama wasted no time bringing the laughs at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The annual event last night gave Obama a chance to lighten the mood in a heated election year, though presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney still a target. “It’s nice to be here in the nice, vast Hilton ballroom. Or as Mitt Romney would call it, a fixer-upper,” Obama said of his rival, who is often labeled elitist. President Obama White House Correspondents Dinner Speech 2012 “We both have degrees from Harvard,” he said, noting that the politicians do have some things in common. “I have one, he has two … what a snob!” Obama got plenty of mileage out of the “dog wars” between the respective camps, running an entire fake ad from the WOOF-PAC in “support” of Mitt. Nor could the president resist poking fun at another one-time “rival.” Referencing his address at the 2011 dinner, where he bashed Donald Trump repeatedly just hours before Osama bin Laden was killed, Obama said that one year ago, he had “finally delivered justice to one of the world’s most notorious individuals.” A photo of Trump was prominently displayed in the background. The president also joked about Sarah Palin, Joe Biden’s verbal gaffes and Hillary Clinton texting him drunk, but saved plenty of verbal barbs for himself. Obama referenced his low poll numbers, the fact that he ate a dog as a child in Indonesia, and allegations that he wasn’t born in the U.S. (again). He then rattled off a list of some of the shortcomings of his first three years in office and the “secret agenda” for the second term he’s trying to win and much more to conclude the nearly 16-minute speech the “nerd prom.” A term, as he put it, coined by D.C. insiders who never went to an actual prom. Funniest President ever? How do you think he did?

Photo of Falling Bear on College Campus Defies Description

A bear can be seen falling from a tree in a truly memorable image after being tranquilized by police in Boulder, Co., this week. Fortunately, he’s doing fine. The young bear, estimated to weigh between 150-200 pounds, had somehow wandered onto the University of Colorado campus and climbed into a tree. While it’s never funny that an animal has to be tranquilized, all ended well. He landed safely on a mattress and was released into the wild when he woke up: “[The bear] was tranquilized by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Department and it fell onto some mats that the Rec Center provided,” CU Police said. “It was placed in a cage, relocated at a higher elevation and released.” Before it was tranquilized and immortalized in this photo, the bear spent about two hours in a tree near the campus dorms, terrifying students. On Tuesday, another family of black bears made the news, literally, after wandering onto the set and interrupting a news report in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The University of Colorado was also in the news for another viral story this week, after this tipsy member of the student body hilariously posed with President Obama .

Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan to Dine at the White House… Together

Fox News is determined to prove the Mayans right. For reasons that defy comprehension – even more than how Gretchen Carlson still has a job – the network has invited two guests along with it for Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner: Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan. Moreover, they will be seated at the same table. Yes, readers. Prepare for the Apocalypse. Sources tell TMZ that Kim and Lindsay actually get along well, so don’t expect any fireworks at the event. But will Kardashian and Lohan actually meet President Obama?!? Will their photo op equate to this amazing one of a bar patron and Obama ? “No way. The President almost never mingles with the guests,” an insider says. Other stars, with actual talent, expected to attend on Saturday include: George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, Charlize Theron, Eva Longoria and Daniel Day-Lewis. [Photos: WENN.com]

Bill O’Reilly: “It Doesn’t Matter Who The GOP Candidate Is, They Despise Barack Obama So Much That They’re Just Gonna Vote Against Him”

Bill O’Reilly Says It Doesn’t Matter Who The GOP Candidate Is They All Despise Barack Obama Bill O’Reilly , famed host of the Fox News show “The O’Reilly Factor” said “it doesn’t matter” who the conservative presidential candidate is, because the GOP will back him no matter what because he will stand in opposition to President Barack Obama. “The (GOP) despise(s) Barack Obama so much, it doesn’t matter who it is,” O’Reilly said Thursday on “CBS This Morning.” “They’re going to vote against…Barack Obama not for somebody.” When asked if conservatives would have the have the same enthusiasm for another candidate, O’Reilly said, “It doesn’t matter, it’s the lever you pull. Whether you’re pulling it hard or you’re pulling it soft, it gets pulled.” After winning the latest Republican primaries this week, frontrunner Mitt Romney said he’s now focused on the November election. And so is President Barack Obama, with his re-election campaign announcing he will speak at two campaign rallies next Saturday. The debates, according to O’Reilly, are going to be decisive in this election. “Whoever does better in the three (debates) will win,” he said. “That’s how close it’s gonna be.” Who is the better debater? O’Reilly said, “It’s hard to say. I’ve interviewed Barack Obama twice and I got to tell you, the guy is quick. I’ve interviewed Mitt Romney maybe four times. The governor is much more studied, much more rehearsed.” So does “quick” or “studied” win? O’Reilly said it would be hard to say, then added, “This week has been Romney’s best week. You know, all of that, you know, ‘I’m getting attacked by Gingrich, this one, that one,’ that’s all gone. He’s much more confident. His speech writers are good. Whether he can bring his ‘A’-game up against a guy that’s naturally quick, Obama – he’s quick, I don’t know.” Source More On Bossip!
