Between people being upset about Colin Kaepernick being black listed from the league to the NFL actually implementing the no kneel rule to for the anthem people are TIRED! Reports surfaced that pop band Maroon 5 were rumored to be this years Super Bowl’s halftime act…and people weren’t feeling it. People took to social media to discuss how tone deaf the NFL’s pick was considering all that’s happened in the past two years. It tipped people over the edge especially because the Super Bowl is in Atlanta this year and there were several home town acts to choose from. Waka said there’s too many talented Atlanta artists to choose from to go with Maroon 5. The NFL has not confirmed if Maroon 5 is their actual half time act but typically when rumors speculate that’s usually their performer. Waka ultimately believes their decision says a lot about their tone deaf tendencies. Close Thank you for subscribing! Ron DeSantis Distances Himself From Racist Donor But Silent On Returning The Funds

View original post here:

U .S. Rep. Ron DeSantis , the GOP’s Florida governor nominee, denied connections to a racist once again. DeSantis distanced himself from a donor who called President Barack Obama the N-word, but the candidate will likely keep the campaign funds. NewsOne did not receive an immediate response Thursday from DeSantis’ campaign on whether the more than $20,000 from Steven A. Alembik was given back. See Also: Don’t ‘Monkey This Up’: Andrew Gillum’s Trump-Backed Opponent Shows His Racism To Florida Voters Alembik, a 67-year-old self-employed data and email services provider, tweeted on Wednesday that the former president is a “F—KING MUSLIM N—ER,” Politico reported. He wrote the slur in response to a Republican National Committee tweet disparaging Obama for criticizing the GOP. “We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: we adamantly denounce this sort of disgusting rhetoric,” DeSantis campaign spokesman Stephen Lawson said in a written statement, according to Politico. But it’s unclear whether the campaign continued to hold on to Alembik’s contributions to DeSantis, which totaled $22,920 over the years. There seems to be no end to the long list of white supremacists associated with Rep. Ron DeSantis. Here's our updated timeline… https://t.co/0u8HGrfJMZ #AndrewGillum pic.twitter.com/Llr0TrTn4D — NewsOne (@newsone) September 20, 2018 It didn’t take long for the Trump-backed nominee to fire off a racist attack against Andrew Gillum , Florida’s first Black nominee for governor. DeSantis warned Florida voters in a TV interview not to “monkey this up” by electing Gillum. DeSantis’ racist comment came less than 24 hours after the two candidates won their party’s nomination in the Aug. 28 Florida primary election. The Republican nominee denied that his remark was racist but that’s hard to believe given his long history of associating with white supremacists. After blowing his racist dog whistle in the televised interview, new details emerged about deep links between white nationalists and the congressman. He spoke four times at Freedom Center conferences organized by right-wing conservative David Horowitz , who has said Black people owe their freedom to whites who are the target of the nation’s “only serious race war,” according to the Washington Post . Julie Chen: Will She Leave Big Brother, Too?

At this point, Julie Chen is as synonymous with Big Brother as racism, homophobia and stunning evictions. And yet fans of this long-running reality show are now refreshing their browsers every other minute in order to learn the answer to the following question: Is Chen about to say goodbye as host? Questions about Chen’s future on CBS in general are understandably prominent at the moment, considering she just left The Talk . The veteran panelist did so amidst a sexual misconduct scandal surrounding husband Les Moonves, who just lost his job as CBS President due to allegations that he forced himself upon multiple women a couple decades ago. In a video message that aired on Tuesday’s edition of The Talk ( is that not the dumbest name ever for a program?!? ), Chen told viewers that she simply needs to be around her family as much as possible these days. “Right now, I need to spend more time at home with my husband and young son,” she said rather simply. We wonder if the intense criticism that came Chen’s way last week also played a role in this decision. Upon signing off from Big Brother a few days ago, Chen showed obvious support for Moonves by attaching his last name to hers for the first time ever on air. Social media blew up over this move. Is it shocking that Chen is standing by her man? Not really. But many viewers were still aghast over such a public display because Moonves is accused of some pretty heinous stuff . And he hasn’t exactly denied it, either . View Slideshow: Julie Chen Shows Subtle Support for Husband, Gets Destroyed on Twitter So, this all brings us back to Big Brother. Chen is expected to stay on as host through the Season 20 finale on September 26. According to Us Weekly, no decision has been made beyond this episode, with various network executives thinking it’s best if she just goes away. They figure the less association CBS has overall with Moonves or anyone in his family, the better. If Chen does leave – and this remains a big IF – season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby would reportedly be under consideration as her replacement. The same can be said, according to this tabloid’s sources, of Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Ross Mathews and Big Brother Canada host Arisa Cox. TMZ, meanwhile, claims that Chen wants to return to Big Brother and that the current plan is for her to do so… … IF Big Brother is renewed, that is. Forget Chen’s future on the show, this website writes . The future of the actual show is in question. So that’s where things stand at the moment. Many unanswered questions are out there. Would YOU want to see Chen return as host? And would YOU want to see Big Brother return for Season 21?

Watch These ‘Regretful’ Trump Supporters Suddenly Realize 45 Is Immoral

L ike no other presidential candidate in history, Donald   Trump showed us exactly who he was during his hateful and divisive campaign. From attacking everyone from gold star families to the late John McCain to the “grab them by the p***y” scandal — but some women still decided to vote for Trump. SEE ALSO: Texas Cop Shoots Unarmed Black Man For Entering His Own Truck In a CNN sit down with female Trump supporters, there were regrets expressed about their vote. A panelist named Ally Bross said, “It starts with talking about women’s face lifts, I think. It’s disrespectful. I think the majority of women, I don’t think that they see him as a respectful pro-woman kind of man, especially people my age. In my age demographic, it’s a huge deal that he is not supportive of easily accessible women’s healthcare in terms of Planned Parenthood.” Another panelist named Annie Anthony said, “My fear with President Trump is that his extramarital affairs will make it more of a norm, that the children will think this is acceptable behavior and it’s not — it’s hurtful behavior.” The only Black woman on the panel claimed she will still vote for Trump. The Latina on the panel said she voted for him because of her Christianity—which is illogical. Trump’s immoral behavior was well known before the election. What world were they living in? Black College Football Week 3: Living Life Like It’s Golden

“Just win, baby’’ was the mantra of Al Davis, the late owner of the Oakland Raiders, and it pretty much sums up Tuskegee coach Willie Slater’s sentiment after his Golden Tigers escaped with a hard-fought 24-17 SIAC road win against winless Clark Atlanta Saturday night. The Golden Tigers (2-1) were guilty of enough miscues to cost them the victory. They gave up a safety, lost a pair of fumbles – one on Clark’s goal line and one that was returned for a touchdown – and they committed numerous mental gaffes. “It wasn’t pretty, but we’ll take it,’’ Slater. “We were our worst enemy, but we kept fighting back.’’ The Golden Tigers spotted Clark an 8-0 lead after the Panthers (0-3) took the opening kickoff and drove 71 yards on nine plays for a touchdown and made a two-point conversion. Quarterback Charles Stafford was 4-for-4 passing for 46 yards on the drive. Clark was aided by a 15-yard personal foul penalty against Tuskegee on third down after the Golden Tigers had denied the Panthers a first down. Tuskegee’s defense regrouped after the first series and didn’t allow any points the rest of the game. “They caught us by surprise with some of the things they were doing,’’ Slater said.  “We had to make some adjustments.’’ The Golden Tigers had to adjust their offense as well going into the game. Junior quarterback Ahmad Deramus made his third career start, replacing Jamarcus Ezell. Ezell underwent season-ending shoulder surgery earlier in the after he was injured last week against Albany State. Deramus had an up-and-down performance. He completed 10 of 17 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns. But he also lost a fumble on a first-and-goal play at the Clark one yard line when the Golden Tigers were in position take a two touchdown lead. In addition Deramus was sacked three times. At least twice he was out of the pocket and could have avoided being sack had he thrown the ball away. “He’s our guy,’’ Slater said. “He had some big plays, and he had some bonehead plays. We’ve got to iron out the bonehead plays. He’s a winner. We got to make sure we don’t put him in situations he can’t handle.’’ The Golden Tigers didn’t lead until Deramus came up with on of the big plays Slater referred to. He connected Peyton Ramzy on 55-yard touchdown with 8:16 left in the game. The score gave Tuskegee its first lead of the contest, 24-17, and provided the margin of victory. Earlier Deramus found Javarrius Cheatham for a 42-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the first half that tied the score 10-10. KEY GAMES Jackson State 18, Florida A&M 16 – Special teams rose to the occasion Tallahassee, Fla., as the Tigers claimed an inter-conference victory for their fist win of the season. Christian Jacquemin booted four field goals, and Khalil Johnson blocked a 30-yard Florida A&M attempt with four minutes left in the game that would have given the Rattlers (1-2) the lead. Florida A&M gained 463 total yards – 340 passing – but the Rattlers only put the ball in the end zone twice. Their other points came on a 98-yard point after touchdown return by Terry Jefferson. Jackson State (1-1) forced three fumbles to help keep the Rattlers at bay. Fort Valley State 21, Miles 19 – The Wildcats worked some fourth-quarter magic to pull out an SIAC road win – their first victory of the season – in Birmingham, Ala. Quarterback Slade Jarman found Jaylen Lowder along the right side line with 21 seconds left in the game to give Fort Valley (1-2) the win. The scoring drive consumed 6 minutes, 5 seconds and covered 65 yards. The Wildcats’ first lead came with 7:25 remaining in the fourth quarter when Lorenzo Smothers scored on a six-yard run that put Fort Valley on Top 14-13. Miles (0-3) responded with a five-play, 80-yard that gave the Golden Bears a 19-14 lead after their two-point conversion attempt failed. Bowie State 47, McKendree 41 – The Bulldogs built a 22-point first half lead and coasted to a road victory in Lebanon, Ill. Quarterback Amir Hall threw for 352 yards and pair of touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-1). Hall completed 41 of his 52 throws. He also ran for 95 yards and two scores. Bowie State led 35-13 at the half.   OTHER RESULTS Weather Hurricane Florence wreaked havoc on the Black College Football schedule, causing 11 games to be postponed or cancelled. MEAC had three games involving five conference members postponed. The Thursday night ESPN matchup featuring North Carolina Central at South Carolina State was postponed until Nov. 24. South Carolina State President shutdown the campus and sent students home on Monday ahead of the storm.  Howard’s home game against Savannah State was postponed. No makeup date has been announced. Norfolk State’s contest at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., has been tentatively rescheduled for Dec. 1, pending Norfolk State postseason status. If the Spartans win the conference championship and the accompanying berth in the Celebration bowl or qualify for the FCS playoffs, the contest will be cancelled. The CIAA was hit hardest with six games involving 10 schools being cancelled. Tennessee State’s contest at Hampton was cancelled and will not be rescheduled. This Ain’t It Chief: Texas State Education Board Votes To Remove Hillary Clinton From History Classes

Splash Hillary Clinton may not be the most liked person in the world , but she made history as the first woman to run for President of the United States and we shouldn’t let that go unnoticed. Unfortunately for students it Texas, Mrs. Clinton’s historic feat will be disregarded after the state’s decision earlier this week to remove Hillary Clinton and Hellen Keller from history lessons. Newsweek reports: The vote comes as the board makes efforts to “streamline” the social studies curriculum in the state, The Dallas Morning News reported. The preliminary vote by the 15 member board group created a rubric to decide which historical figures were “essential to learn about and who wasn’t.” But for some odd reason, the same curriculum deems it mandatory for students to learn about Bill Clinton ‘s impeachment. Thoughts?

Kendall Jenner Nude Photos Have Anwar Hadid All Horned Up

As you may have heard, Kendall Jenner nude photos circulated on social media yesterday. Usually, naked pictures of an attractive celebrity that are posted online with said celebrity’s consent are a cause for celebration. This time, however, the uproar was such that you would have thought Kendall had once again attempted to quell a riot by handing out cans of Pepsi. Amazingly, Kendall was body-shamed by an army of idiot trolls. It’s a bit discouraging to see supermodels being brutally body-shamed (What hope do the rest of us have?!), but for a moment, we were ready to  the world is in shambles and the internet is dominated by the angriest and most envious members of our society. But then, a ray of light shined through in the form of a horned-up male model. You may know Anwar Hadid as the brother of Bella and Gigi, or as the dude who’s been making no effort to hide his persistent Kendall-inspired boner in recent weeks. Not surprisingly, the president of the unofficial Kendall Jenner Fan Club was quite taken by his crush’s latest pics, and he’s reportedly been talking about them to anyone who cares to listen. “Anwar is drooling over the leaked Kendall nude pics,” a source close to the Hadids tells Hollywood Life.  “He thinks she looks amazing and he wants her bad,” the insider continues. “Anwar has been crushing on Kendall for years, he thinks she is smart, successful and funny too.” Clearly unconcerned about the possibility of coming on too strong, Anwar didn’t stop there: “He can’t believe how beautiful and sexy she looks without any clothes on in the leaked pics,” the source claims. “Anwar can’t stop thinking about Kendall since seeing those pics.” Fortunately for Anwar, it seems there’s a good chance that his dream of dating 22-year-old model will soon become a reality. Kendall recently broke up with Ben Simmons after several months of dating. There have been rumors that Kendall was caught cheating with Anwar , but that doesn’t seem to be the case. However, Hadid seems to have swooped in immediately after learning that Kendall was single, and the two were spotted “getting close” at a party next week. Sounds like Anwar won’t have to rely on pics and his imagination for much longer. View Slideshow: Kendall Jenner: Her 35 Hottest Photos of All Time

Here’s Another Sign That Cory Booker Is Running For President

N ew Jersey’s Democratic Sen. Cory Booker received an important invitation to visit Iowa for a political event, signalling to many that Booker is already on the 2020 presidential campaign trail. SEE ALSO: Will He Or Won’t He?: Cory Booker Talks Political Plans For 2020 Iowa Democratic Party Chairman Troy Price announced Saturday that Booker agreed to be the keynote speaker at the party’s fall gala, days after Booker was in the national spotlight at the confirmation hearing for President Trump ‘s high court nominee, Politico reported. Price declined to say whether he asked other prospective candidates to appear at the event in Iowa, the first stop in the presidential primaries. He credited the senator as “a great speaker” whom he wanted to headline the gala. “We’ve said all along that we welcome anyone who wants to help us get Democrats elected in 2018, and we’re happy to have Senator Booker’s help. This dinner is only about the great opportunities ahead of us in this election this fall,” Price told the news outlet. Booker heading to Iowa in October https://t.co/Q4jpvCjUBM — POLITICO (@politico) September 9, 2018 In 2008, Iowa Caucus Democrats gave then-Sen. Barack Obama its seal of approval . Iowans connected with Obama’s message of hope and change, and he rode that wave of enthusiasm all the way to the White House. The invitation suggests that Iowa Democrats want to get a closer look at Booker, and it presents an opportunity for the senator to test his message. This is yet another indication that Booker will probably announce his candidacy. Other signs include him downplaying his interest in running for president–which nearly every candidate in office does before announcing a run for president. During an  exclusive interview  with  IOne  family’s  WRNB’s Quincy Harris Morning Show , Booker said: “My intention is to run for reelection. I’m not going to play coy. I’d definitely consider it (a presidential run).” Booker has also used his platform in the Senate to fire up the base, as Obama did as a senator. Booker berated Department of Homeland Security Secretary  Kirstjen Nielsen   at a January hearing for her “amnesia” about hearing the president’s “shithole countries” remark toward Haiti and African nation. On Thursday, Democrats applauded Booker for risking Senate expulsion for releasing documents Republicans tried to hide, which revealed Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh ’s preference for racial profiling as a law enforcement tool.
