Prayers Up! Nelson Mandela’s Family Says He’s “Not Doing Well” But Still Putting Up A Fight

Nelson Mandela is still holding on… Nelson Mandela’s Family Says He’s “Not Doing Well” Nelson Mandela has been battling a serious illness since earlier this year and his family says that while he continues to stay strong, he’s not doing too well. via Fox News Ailing former South African President Nelson Mandela is not “doing well” but is continuing to put up a courageous fight from his “deathbed,” members of his family have told the South African Broadcasting Corporation in an interview. His daughter, Makaziwe Mandela, told SABC television news: “Tata is still with us, strong, courageous. Even for a lack of a better word …. on his ‘deathbed’ he is teaching us lessons; lessons in patience, in love, lessons of tolerance. “Every moment I get with him I’m amazed. There are times where I have to pinch myself that I come from this man who is a fighter even though you can see he is struggling, but fighting spirit is still there with him.” Mandela spent almost three months in a Pretoria hospital after being admitted in June with a recurring lung infection. The 95-year-old liberation struggle icon was discharged in September and has been receiving home-based medical attention since then. We will continue to keep Nelson Mandela and his family in our prayers.

Illuminati Files: Beysus Banned From Pyramids For Being “Stupid And Rude” To Egypt’s Indiana Jones!

Maybe BeyBey is a baddie after all? According to an interview with the UK Independent: No-one keeps Zahi Hawass, the controversial archaeologist described as Egypt’s Indiana Jones, waiting. Not even Beyoncé. Dr Hawass, Egypt’s former head of antiquities and gatekeeper of the Pyramids, banished Beyoncé from the ancient site after he was sickened by what he described as the star’s rudeness. “Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady…,” begins Hawass, the former Minister of State for Antiquities, who lost his post during the 2011 protests and is at the centre of corruption allegations over his work for National Geographic. “She said she would come at 3pm but she came late. I said ‘You have to say I’m sorry I’m late’. But she didn’t open her mouth,” continued Dr Hawass, credited with modernizing the management of Egypt’s ancient sites and who claims to have repatriated 6,000 artefacts “stolen” by Western powers. “I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, he said ‘No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you.’ I said ‘In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite – out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour.’ I said Beyoncé was stupid and I left.” Hey, this definitely isn’t the first time someone has called her stupid and it probably won’t be the last. Apparently this guy is somewhat of a celeb himself, with his own share of rumors he’s battling: Dr Hawass, 66, visiting London to present his latest DNA examination of the pharaohs in a book, Discovering Tutankhamun, admits he has made enemies. “People attack me because I am famous. When I took President Obama to Giza, the camel driver recognised me and he asked ‘But who is the friend of Hawass?’ When I gave a lecture at your Dome of the Millennium 1,700 came to hear me. Bill Clinton got 700.” Protesters denounced Dr Hawass as “the Mubarak of Antiquities” and accused him of corruption. The US Justice Department reportedly launched an investigation into his $200,000 role as National Geographic’s Explorer-in-Residence, which helped secure the Washington-based organization favorable access to the pyramids and Tutankhamun treasures. “There were 20 accusations made against me but they were all dropped,” the Egyptologist said. “They accused me of sleeping with prostitutes which I have never done. No-one can ever bribe me because I am a man of dignity and honor. Every contract was legal. National Geographic benefited more than me.” Famed for his fedora and natty excavation wear, Dr Hawass did launch his own fashion range, offering rugged khakis and leather jackets. But the profits went to the Children’s Cancer Hospital in Cairo. The on-going ferment which has seen the Muslim Brotherhood swept away to be replaced by a new military council has placed Egypt’s antiquities at risk. Vital tourism revenues have been lost. So Dr Hawass is poised to make a shock return. “Already 20,000 signatures have been collected for me to come back. Even those who were against me say they need me back,” he argued. Sounds like he’s not in charge of the pyramids anymore anyway. Wonder how long til Bey shuts him down with a Tumblr post from atop the Sphinx? Tumblr

You Can’t Be Serious: Yeezus Says The Kardashians Make America Better

In delusional Kanye West news … Kanye Says America Doesn’t Give The Kardashians Enough Credit Yeezus compares himself to the lead character in “12 Years A Slave” and now this. According to Radar Online: Kanye West’s tour of awesome revelations is continuing, and this time he isn’t slamming the President of the United States, or saying that he’s the greatest rock star in the world, but he’s singing the praises of his future in-laws saying that the Kardashians don’t get enough credit for the good they do for America. The Yeezus rapper discussed his music and his fashion with Washington, D.C.’s 95.5 WPGC (a Radio.com station) on Monday and that’s where he dropped the bombshell that he believes his fiancée Kim Kardashian’s family is changing how people look at interracial relationships. “A lot of what the Kardshians do,I don’t think they get enough credit for what they do. They prep America to accept interracial relationships,” he said about the family he’s marrying into. Kim’s sister Khloe Karsdashian is married to Lamar Odom, an African-American, and her younger sisters have dated African-American men as well. “I’m not talking about me, I can hope on a plane. I can date a white woman, I can date a black woman, and no matter what they say in the barber shop don’t matter, because I don’t get my haircut there,” he said and laughed. “For the people that do, though, there’s a white woman that’s getting talked down to by her friends because she’s dating a black guy. Now you’ve got a point of reference, that you can say, ‘Well, actually this couple right here, that’s dope.’” He spoke a few times about his daughter, North West, and said that all of his business decisions he makes with her in mind. “One of the reasons I left Nike. They did offered me a deal for Yeezy after seven years of power but there was no royalty connected to it. I can’t look my daughter in the eyes and say I’m giving the best years of my life in creativity and I see nothing from it. People were having interracial relationships long before the Kardashians, Kanye. WENN

GQ Names Least Influential Celebrities of 2013: Who’s #1?

Dennis Rodman may think he influenced policy a great deal via his trip to North Korea earlier this year and his sit-down with Kim Jong Un. But GQ begs to disagree. The magazine has named the former rebounding champion its LEAST Influential Celebrity of 2013. According to editors, Rodman is a “Q-list celebrity willing to commit borderline treason just to hang out with a dictator who himself aspires to be a Q-list celebrity.” That pretty much sums him up, doesn’t it? Who else made this undesirable list? Paula Deen checks in at number-two due to her use of the N Word and general, seemingly racist attitude; while former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner grabbed spot number-three. “He’s the saddest lecher in American politics, and that’s saying something, because they’re all lechers,” the magazine writes. Among other very well-known names, Miley Cyrus is number-six for “basically trying every inane strategy she could think of to rile up America’s few remaining pearl clutchers,” while Barack Obama is number-17. The reason? This President “nothing gets done,” GQ says. That’s not true, however, many Obamacare website users would argue. He’s really good at mishandling online insurance applications.

Update: Fourth San Jose State Student Charged With Hate Crime After Locking Up Black Roommate Like A Dog

Welcome to AmeriKKKa folks! Fourth San Jose State Student Charged With Hate Crime Via Reuters reports: A fourth student at a California university has been suspended for being involved in alleged racially motivated abuse of a black student , an occurrence that has led to student protests on campus. The suspension of the fourth student, which followed suspensions and misdemeanor hate crime charges against three other students, was disclosed by San Jose State University President Mohammed Qayoumi in a statement late Friday. Qayoumi did not identify the fourth student or say whether he might also face charges. The victim in the incident that led to student protests at the campus in Northern California has not been named. Logan Beaschler and Colin Warren, both 18, and Joseph Bomgardner, 19, have been charged with misdemeanor hate crime and battery against their black roommate, Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Erin West said. The three freshmen students are accused of using racist terms to refer to the young man, displayed Nazi symbols and a Confederate flag in their suite and once tried to put a U-shaped bicycle lock around his neck, causing him minor injuries when he fought back, authorities said. Qayoumi said he met Friday with the Reverend Jethroe Moore, president of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Chapter of the NAACP and agreed take several steps to address the issue. They will hold a news conference Monday on the criminal charges, host a campus forum on the topic in the first half of December and offer a lecture series next spring on diversity and tolerance. “While these efforts move forward, we are undertaking a comprehensive review of SJSU’s student code of conduct,” Qayoumi said. “Our goal is including race-based misconduct in existing zero-tolerance student conduct policies.” What happened to the “post-racial” America we’re supposed to be living in?

Justin Bieber: Did He Really Meet the President of Mexico?

It’s true, Justin Bieber partied with naked strippers over the weekend. But, no, it is not true: Justin Bieber did not meet with the President of Mexico. The singer has been forced to backtrack on this story after originally Tweeting the following yesterday, prior to a concert at Foro Sol in Mexico City: “Just met some amazing Mexican beliebers and the president of mexico and his familia. Now its showtime. 60,000 tonight. Te amo.” So, what was the problem? Bieber never met with President Enrique Pena Nieto, a fact his office alluded to over Twitter. Apparently, Justin thought he met the President because a large group attended a meet-and-greet with the singer and they were surrounded by security and they did include some politicians.. but not the main one. “*correction. I met the presidente’s family and all their friends in the private meet and greet with security. They were very nice,” Bieber wrote to fans today as a clarification, adding overall: “A lot of things get said about me. So many things not true. And it hurts especially that people believe it. But I got all of u…I’m built for this. It’s all gonna be alright.” Biebs has two more concerts scheduled in the country and then takes off on the Australian leg of his “Believe” tour. It wraps up there in Perth on December 8 and then he comes home for the holidays.
