It’s back to school time and you know what that means. Your very vulnerable freshman daughter is being exposed to all kinds of dangerous situations and misogyny. Such as the scenario painted by this SMU chant which was part of a freshman week event that pretty much promotes underage forced sex … Here’s more info via CTV News : Student orientation leaders at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax will undergo sensitivity training after some of them were captured on video chanting about non-consensual sex with underage girls. In the video taken during frosh week activities and posted on Instagram, both male and female student leaders can be seen taking part in what a university spokesperson called a “sexist and offensive” chant. “SMU boys, we like them young,” the students can be heard singing at the start of the video. The chant includes the phrases: “Y is for your sister,” “U is for underage,” and “N is for no consent.” It was performed by student leaders in front of about 300 first-year-students on Monday. “This is a disappointing, discouraging and, quite frankly, an offensive video and we’re, I guess, taken aback,” Keith Hotchkiss, SMU’s senior director of student services, told CTV Atlantic. Jared Perry, the president of the university’s student association, which organizes frosh week activities, has apologized. “We’re sorry this went through,” he said. “Now we’re looking forward into the future and the chant will never take place again. We’ll be educating our leaders.” SMU spokesperson Steve Proctor told The Canadian Press that a less sexist version of the chant has been performed on campus in the past. St. Mary’s University Student Association President Jared Perry says he feels terrible and an investigation will be launched into the incident. This must have a been a satirical speech or something… Republican Affiliate Says GOP Won’t Criticize Obama Because He’s Black A right-wing, anti-Muslim radical who spoke out at a political summit held last week raised more than a few eyebrows when he suggested that his GOP goon-squad peers have been too afraid to criticize President Obama because “the color of his skin is black.” via Think Progress David Horowitz — a right-wing operative who heads a think tank that works to discredit the Islamic faith — was one of the most passionate speakers at the Koch-backed “Defending the American Dream Summit.” In his address, Horowitz called the president “the most brazen and compulsive liar to ever occupy the White House” and said there’s an “obvious” reason that his opponents are hesitant to attack him. “No one will say it out loud. I will: It’s because the color of his skin is black,” Horowitz told the predominantly white crowd on Friday. “It is because Obama is a minority that nobody will hold him to a standard or confront him with what he has done.” He lost us when he even fixed his mouth to suggest that the GOP is hesitant to speak against President Obama as if it doesn’t happen on a daily basis. Lil Hafez says “I wish a n***a would!” Via NYTimes reports : A Facebook post said to be written by the 11-year-old son of the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, and “liked” or commented on by several people who appear to be the children and grandchildren of other senior members of Mr. Assad’s government, may offer a glimpse into the mindset of Syria’s ruling elite as the country braces for a potential Western strike in response to a chemical weapons attack on Aug. 21. It is impossible to confirm whether the Facebook account does, in fact, belong to the son, Hafez al-Assad, and aspects of it invite doubt. For example, the owner of the account wrote that he was a graduate of Oxford University and a player for a Barcelona soccer team, neither of which would be likely to appear on the résumé of an 11-year-old boy in Damascus. But those claims could also be read as the ambitions of a child, and there are reasons to believe that the account may actually belong to Hafez. The owner of the account wrote that he was a graduate of a Montessori school in Damascus, a detail of the Assad children’s lives that Vogue magazine reported in a February 2011 profile of their mother, Asma al-Assad. That article portrayed them as typical suburban children who played with remote control cars and watched Tim Burton movies on an iMac as they lounged around the family home, described as running “on wildly democratic principles.” Perhaps most significantly, the Facebook post said to have been written by Hafez al-Assad has been “liked” or commented on by several accounts that appear to belong to the children or grandchildren of other senior figures in the Assad administration. Among them are accounts that seemingly belong to two children of Deputy Vice President Mohammed Nassif Khierbek, Ali and Sally, and to three children of a former deputy defense minister, Assef Shawkat, who was killed in a bombing in July 2012. The accounts said to belong to the children of Mr. Shawkat — one of his sons, Bassel, and two of his daughters, Anisseh and Boushra — appeared to be authentic, according to a Syrian journalist from Damascus who has extensive knowledge of the country’s ruling elite and spoke on condition of anonymity, citing safety concerns. Mr. Shawkat was married to the sister of Bashar al-Assad, making these three children cousins of Mr. Assad’s son Hafez, who is believed to be the author of the Facebook post. Many of the people who commented on the post had changed their profile pictures to show portraits of the Syrian leader or his father, also named Hafez, who ruled the country for three decades before Bashar al-Assad took power in 2000. Several of them referenced the author’s relationship to the two President Assads. One referred to the author by a diminutive and familiar nickname, “Hafouz,” and complimented him for his strength and intelligence, writing that such a feat was unsurprising for the son and grandson of the past two presidents. Another commenter wrote: “Like father like son! Well said future President!” SMH. Let’s hope Hafez doesn’t get his wish. Ann Coulter: Obama Brought Back Racism In America The wicked witch of the GOP, Ann Coulter , is once again (surprise!) discussing liberals and black folks in her new book. Via Marietta Daily Journal: Written by Ann Coulter The media’s fixation on the Trayvon Martin case, while ignoring much more brutal crimes with clearer racial motivations, is a return to pre-O.J. America. The thesis of my book, “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery From the Seventies to Obama” — out in paperback this week! — is that after decades of liberals play-acting Racist America, wherein they cast themselves as civil rights champions, and other, random white people as Bull Connor (a Democrat), it all ended with the O.J. verdict. That’s when white America said, That’s it. The white guilt bank is shut down. It was one of the best things that ever happened to America — especially for black people. But then in 2007, Barack Obama brought it all back. In order to immunize the most left-wing presidential candidate the nation has ever seen, the Non-Fox Media went into overdrive reporting their fantasies of America as a nation full of racists, constantly terrorizing innocent blacks. Of course, once Republicans got the Democrats to stop terrorizing black people, there was no one else doing it. Nonetheless, for decades, the media would highlight every apparent white-on-black crime, treating each such incident as the Crime of the Century. White-on-black crimes were, and are, freakishly rare. But the media weren’t showcasing these one-off events as man-bites-dog stories, but rather as dog-bites-man stories in a universe brimming with packs of rabid dogs. According to liberals, whites attacking blacks was an epidemic — a nationwide “cancer,” in the words of erstwhile NYC Mayor Ed Koch. n 1986, only 2.6 percent of all homicides in the entire country were white-on-black killings. Black criminals killed nearly three times as many white people (949) as whites killed blacks (378) and they killed 16 times as many black people (6,235) as whites did. So if you’re confused by the blanket coverage of the Trayvon Martin case — attracting even the attention of the president of the United States! — while far more common and more vicious black-on-white murders are ignored, try to understand that liberals are frightened by change. They are desperately clinging to a world that never existed. Their fantasy of an America bristling with racists allows them to portray any criticism of our massively incompetent and dangerous president as just another sad episode of oh-so-typical white racism. They have to protect Obama, so the rest of us have to get “Mugged.” Discuss… WENN

Man Gets Visit From Secret Service For Racist Threat Against President Obama An eldery Maine man who posted a blatantly racist message to accompany one of his Facebook photos got an unexpected surprise when the Secret Service showed up on his door step. via Huffington Post A Maine man is in hot water over a Facebook post containing a news story about President Barack Obama and a racially-charged threat. The Portland Press Herald reported Tuesday that 68-year-old David Marsters is under investigation over an item posted last Friday on his personal page. The update in question included a link to a story about GOP lawmakers pursuing an Obama impeachment, and a comment from Marsters that read “Shoot the n*gg*r.” The Lewiston-Auburn Sun Journal added that Marsters’ Facebook post prompted a visit from Secret Service members. He was questioned for an hour at the local police station in Sabattus, Maine. “I think it’s a lot of hogwash,” Marsters told the Press-Herald. “I did not threaten the president … I might have used the wrong words … I didn’t say I was going to do it.” This is just outright disrespectful and racist. “You talkin’ to me?!?!” Tavis Smiley Says President Obama Should Be More Like Martin Luther King Jr. With the 50th Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s march on Washington approaching this Wednesday, the White House announced that President Barack Obama will take the podium to deliver a much-anticipated public address commemorating MLK’s legacy and his lauded “I Have A Dream” speech. Obviously there will be many comparisons drawn between Dr. King and President Obama before, during, and after this speech, but Tavis Smiley asserts that Obama and Dr. King are dissimilar not necessarily in form, but in function. Via WashingtonPost Since the White House announced that President Obama will speak to the nation on Wednesday from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, I have been asked the same questions again and again: Is it appropriate for the president to occupy that sacred space? Does Obama have the moral authority to speak where King spoke? Does anyone? My honest answer to these questions: I don’t know. But here is what I do know. The future of our democracy is inextricably linked to how seriously we take King’s legacy. A legacy of unarmed truth and unconditional love. A legacy of brilliant prose and prophetic witness. The president’s decision to honor the march is proper and commendable. But when he stands where King stood and delivers a speech of his own, he inevitably invites comparisons between his words and King’s. I hope Obama rises to the challenge to be truly King-like, not just King-lite. His speech cannot be full of great sound bites but devoid of sound public policy. Smiley goes on to say: The unsettling truth is that during the Obama era, black America has fallen even further behind. The African American unemployment rate, for instance, remains stubbornly and disproportionately high at 12.6 percent, compared with the national rate of 7.4 percent. And while private-sector jobs are experiencing a slight uptick, the lack of public-sector jobs is suffocating black livelihoods. Sadly, a few black chief executives notwithstanding, race still matters in the private sector. Education is not the great equalizer. I know too many black Ivy League graduates whose degrees cannot close this gap, and heaven help you if you’re applying for a private-sector job with a “black-sounding” name. Researchers have found that these applicants receive up to 50 percent fewer callbacks than applicants with “white-sounding” names. Black misery is the fierce urgency of now. Do we want history to record that black folk fared even worse under the first black president? I certainly do not. We all understand that Obama is a politician and King was a prophet. But does that mean that the president, even with the structural and political constraints of his high office, cannot speak more truth? …But if Obama is to be transformational and not just transactional, a statesman and not just another politician, a thermostat and not just a thermometer, then it’s time for him to use his power to help regulate the temperature of our society and not just settle for recording the temperature of public opinion. It’s time to take some risks. To stop playing it safe in the second term. To tell the truth about the suffering in America that’s being rendered invisible simply because we choose not to see it. Could YOU ever serve a white person/family with a smile on your face? Do Blacks Overcompensate For Racial Stereotypes By Serving Whites With Dignity? This weekend Lee Daniels’ The Butler opened across the country to rave reviews and tearful adulation. Lee recently sat down with the New York Times to talk about the film and surrounding issues. Via NYTimes On The POTUS having servants… Your new film, “Lee Daniels’ The Butler,” stars Forest Whitaker as a man who was a domestic servant in the White House from the 1950s through the 1980s. What did you think when you learned that there are butlers who serve the president? It goes back to kings and queens. There are servers, and there are people that are served. There’s something contradictory about that in a democracy, certainly. But someone’s got to take care of them, too. And thank God, or else I wouldn’t have a movie. On difficulty finding funding due to racial subject matter… Did the success of your film “Precious” help get this one made? It was a rough journey getting this film financed because the studios didn’t want to do it. They weren’t interested in this film at the budget that we had. The president of one studio told me, “If you were a Jewish filmmaker and this was a film about the Holocaust, we wouldn’t have this problem.” Meaning, because it’s about a black character, it wouldn’t attract a wide audience? I think that’s what she meant. I appreciate her honesty. Being a boxed into being a “black filmmaker” Do you think people expect you to make movies exclusively about the black experience? I’m not going to be labeled a black filmmaker. I am not here to just tell black stories. I’m here to tell all kinds of stories, musicals and dramas. Could I do a spaceship movie or black people on Mars or whatever? Sure. A comedy? Yes. On African-American’s treatment of whites based on racial stereotypes… The film raises the idea that black servants who do their job with dignity are, in a way, being subversive by undermining racial stereotypes. Do you agree with that? I think that for that time, absolutely, it was correct, and even for now I think there is some truth in that. I come from a family of domestics. I think most African-Americans of my age do. They were trusted by their bosses. I have met so many white people that spent more time with their nannies than they have with their own parents. Black GOP Group Files Article Of Impeachment Against Obama Of course the National Black Republican Association would be based out of Florida … According to Fox Nation: The National Black Republican Association (NBRA) based in Sarasota, FL, headed by Chairman Frances Rice, filed Articles of Impeachment against President Barack Obama with the following language: We, black American citizens, in order to free ourselves and our fellow citizens from governmental tyranny, do herewith submit these Articles of Impeachment to Congress for the removal of President Barack H. Obama, aka, Barry Soetoro, from office for his attack on liberty and commission of egregious acts of despotism that constitute high crimes and misdemeanors. On July 4, 1776, the founders of our nation declared their independence from governmental tyranny and reaffirmed their faith in independence with the ratification of the Bill of Rights in 1791. Asserting their right to break free from the tyranny of a nation that denied them the civil liberties that are our birthright, the founders declared: “When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” – Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. There are 10 articles listed, but these stood out the most: ARTICLE 9 He has violated the Constitution when, on January 4, 2012, (1) he bypassed the U. S. Senate to appoint three members of the National Labor Relations Board, actions that were ruled unconstitutional by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit which affirmed previous decisions by the Court of Appeal for the D.C. Circuit and the Third Circuit; and (2) he bypassed the U. S. Senate to appoint Richard Cordray to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. ARTICLE 10 He has intimidated whistleblowers and brought twice as many prosecutions against whistleblowers as all prior presidents combined.
