Kate Middleton Polka Dot Dress Sells Out Within Hours

Attending a tour of the Warner Bros. film studio today in Leavesden, England, Kate Middleton wore a polka dot Topshop dress with Ralph Lauren jacket. The $76 frock sold out within hours of her wearing it, online and in stores. Despite the Duchess being six months pregnant, the dress is not maternity wear. You wouldn’t know it from how perfectly it covered the royal heir(ess). Seriously. One of the cutest Kate Middleton baby bump photos yet. This isn’t the first time the 31-year-old wife of Prince William has caused clothing to sell out at warp speed, and it’s safe to say that it won’t be the last. Most famously, the blue Issa dress she when she announced her engagement in 2010 continued to sell out even after the brand replenished the stock. Here’s hoping Topshop learned from that experience. Kate Middleton to Spend Second Anniversary at Children’s Hospice

Kate Middleton, Great Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge, will spend her second wedding anniversary in a way that sums her up well as an individual. They will visit Naomi Children’s Hospice in Hampshire, England, on April 29. Expecting their first child in July, the royal is set to tour the facility, meeting with patients and families as well as the staff, volunteers and supporters. Children’s Hospice Week runs until May 3 and is the sole awareness and fundraising week in the UK for helping kids with life-limiting conditions and related services. Children’s charities have been near and dear to the hearts of Kate Middleton and Prince William , who are said to be closer and more in love than ever.

Kate Middleton Baby Shower: Not Happening?

Despite all the rumors of a baby shower for the pregnant Kate Middleton , royal experts are saying the event is quite unlikely to happen. Why? According to ABC News Royal Expert Victoria Arbiter, the Duchess of Cambridge will most likely eschew a big to-do because of the “added pressure.” “[She and Prince William] are clearly very wealthy, so a lavish baby shower would be seen as inappropriate … there’s nothing they can’t buy themselves.” Rumors indicated that her sister Pippa Middleton was planning a “down-to-earth” baby shower for the duchess, complete with wine, beer and Queen Elizabeth II. You know. Standard operating procedure for the mom-to-be. While there’s still a chance Pips will put together a small event, but baby showers aren’t customary in the UK, so it’s not as if skipping out would be a shock. On the flip side, you can guarantee Kim Kardashian ‘s baby shower will be the star-studded, over-the-top, borderline offensively extravagant and live Tweeted type. Just a question of where and when.

Kate Middleton Will Be a "Great Mum," Uncle Gary Promises

Appearances can be deceiving when it comes to celebrities. Not in Kate Middleton’s case, however. She’s the very best! At least according to her uncle Gary Goldsmith , who tells Hello! that his niece is just as sweet, smart, and smitten with Prince William as she seems in public. “She is so kind-hearted, a beautiful girl inside and out,” IT recruitment millionaire Goldsmith said. “I think that is the Kate people are seeing and the Kate I know.” “She is this confident, clever, caring girl who takes responsibility seriously. I think everyone thinks she’s sincere, in love, and doing her job to the best of her ability.” “She is incredibly grounded,” he adds of Kate Middleton . “Kate’s going to make a brilliant mum… You couldn’t want for a better kid than her, and that’s going to shine through with her as a parent as well.” Goldsmith, the younger brother of Kate and Pippa Middleton ‘s mother, Carole, also has kind words for his niece’s husband, the Duke of Cambridge himself. Recalling the first time he met Prince William at a family supper back in 2006, the Duchess’ uncle says he knew he was seeing something special. “When I saw them together, you actually thought, even if he wasn’t going to be the King, they’d make a great couple,” he says. “They were very, very good together.” “[William] was so relaxed in his own skin, but he does try very hard to be a real gentleman. He leaves an impact on you. He was incredibly charming and engaging.” “You know as a couple they will make it work as best they can.” Somehow we’re not surprised. They do seem pretty great.

The 25-year-old singer ‘s face is digitally stitched to match the visage of the late Princess of Wales on the latest cover of the UK’s Sunday Times Magazine. If their goal was to generate buzz? Mission accomplished! How did they link Rihanna and Princess Di, the mother of Prince William, and not the more obvious figure of Kate Middleton ?
