Kendra Spears: Married to Prince Rahim Aga Khan!

Kendra Spears is a married woman! The American supermodel tied the knot with Prince Rahim Aga Khan, the eldest son of billionaire racehorse owner, in a traditional Muslim ceremony. After a short engagement of only four months, Spears, 24, and her husband, 41, couple exchanged vows at the Bellerive Castle in Geneva, Switzerland. The couple’s engagement was made public in April by the Aga Khan in a press release on his website. They had not confirmed a wedding date at the time. His Highness, who is the spiritual leader of the world’s Shia Ismaili Muslims, said that he was “delighted to announce the engagement” at the time. Spears has appeared in ads for Diane von Furstenberg and Prada, and walked the catwalk for Calvin Klein, Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent and others. Kendra is also a University of Washington sociology graduate. Rahim studied in the U.S. at Brown and in Spain at the Navarra Business School. He is involved in the poverty reduction efforts of the Aga Khan Development Network. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Man Knocks Girlfriend Unconscious, Drags Her Into Car: VIDEO

WARNING : The following video is disturbing and graphic in nature, even more than the snake head which bit its own body . Over the weekend, police arrested a New Orleans resident named Elvin Terrell after a surveillance video captured him violently assaulting his girlfriend, wrestling with her in the lobby of a Holiday Inn before taking her outside and knocking her unconscious with a blow to the head. Terrell then dragged her into the backseat of his car and drove away. The incident took place around 4:50 a.m. on August 16 and Terrell turned himself in the following night. Prince William: Royal Baby is a "Rascal," Kate Middleton Doing a "Fantastic Job"

Prince William says his son Prince George is already a bit of a royal rascal, while the baby’s mother, Kate Middleton , is doing a fantastic job of it. William told CNN in his first interview since becoming a dad that posing for the first Royal Baby photos the day after George’s birth felt oddly logical. Prince William: Royal Baby a “Rascal” “I was on such a high anyway, and so was Catherine about George, that really we were happy to show him off to whoever wanted to see him,” he gushed. “As any new parent knows, you’re only too happy to show off your new child and, you know, proclaim that he is the best looking or the best everything.” England’s newest royal proved to be on his best behavior then, William pointed out: “I’m just glad he wasn’t screaming his head off the whole way through!” Global royal watchers were impressed when the new royal family left the hospital, and William installed the car seat himself without a hitch. “Believe me, it wasn’t my first time,” the 31-year-old admitted in the interview. “I know there’s been speculation about that. I had to practice, I really did.” The first-time dad was also the first to change George’s diaper, or “nappy” in British parlance: “I had every midwife staring at me, ‘You do it. You do it.'” George, he said, is a little bit of a “rascal” who is “growing quite quickly actually. But he’s a little fighter. He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot.” “And he doesn’t want to go to sleep that much, which is a bit of a problem.” William confided that he’s up at all hours as a result, but “not as much as Catherine,” he said of wife of two years Kate Middleton. “She’s doing a fantastic job. “For me, Catherine, and now little George are my priorities.” “I think the last few weeks for me have been just a very emotional experience . Something I never thought I would feel myself … a lot of things affect me differently now.”

JoAnna Garcia Cast on Once Upon a Time as Ariel

JoAnna Garcia has been cast on Once Upon a Time as the Little Mermaid herself, Ariel! We haven’t seen her act in the part, of course, but the casting department nailed this: She will appear in Once Upon a Time Season 3, as the show descends into Neverland. Creator Adam Horowitz revealed the enchanting news Friday afternoon via Twitter: “So thrilled to welcome @JoAnnaLGarcia  to the #OnceUponATime family as our Ariel! “Can’t wait to bring you under the sea!” Joanna Garcia, 34, also Tweeted Friday, “Excited 2 share that I’ll be swimming to @OnceABC as ‘Ariel’! So honored 2 play such a beloved character!” With Once Upon a Time Season 3 kicking off Sunday, September 29 on ABC, the show’s producers have been teasing fans with the identity of Ariel for months. Was the casting worth the wait? We can’t imagine it won’t be … No word yet on if Prince Eric will also make an appearance.

Top Chef Masters Recap: An Engaging Episode

Talk about an engaging episode of Top Chef Masters! Both competition and love was in the air, as Lindsay Price surprised fiancee Curtis Stone with an engagement party, one for which the remaining contestants had to cook. We’ll allow the mixing of business with pleasure in this entertaining case. Based around the installment’s Elimination Challenge, the chefs were split into three teams and had to plan a menu around Curtis and Lindsay’s tastes, which mostly revolved around chocolate and Korean barbecue. In the end, Red Team members Sue, Douglas and David were all named winners for their impressive creations: Umami Broth, Crab Beignet and Cheesecake Pop. But whose dessert was not dripping with chocolate and who therefore got sent packing? Prince Joins Twitter, Posts Photo of Salad, Does Not Know What Selfie Means

Three years after he declared that the Internet is over (really), Prince is finally on Twitter. And what a grand entrance he made to social media this week. Tweeting through the account of his band 3rdeyegirl, his first two Tweets were “PRINCE’S 1ST TWEET… TESTING 1, 2…” and “PRINCE’S 2ND TWEET.” Having apparently grasped the concept, the 55-year-old music legend then did what any good Twitter user does and posted a photo of his dinner. The caption: “PRINCE’S 3RD TWEET: DID EYE ADD 2 MUCH PEPPER?” Not sure about the pepper, but that is a nice-looking salad. Rather than call it quits while he was ahead, Prince kept on Tweeting, bestowing upon the universe his “1st SELFIE” … which is just a picture of some smoke. Dude, Prince. You have to be in the pic. Unless you were going for a performance-art style Tweet and implying that you ARE smoke. In which case, well played Prince.

Eydie Gorme Dies; Music Great Was 84

Concert and recording superstar Eydie Gorme has died at the age of 84. She performed everything from ballads to bossa nova with singing partner and husband Steve Lawrence, leaving an indelible mark on music in the 1960s. “Legendary singer and performer Eydie Gorme passed away peacefully at Sunrise Hospital following a brief illness,” her publicist, Howard Bragman, said. “She was surrounded by her husband, son and other loved ones.” In his own statement today, Steve Lawrence said: “Eydie has been my partner on stage and in life for more than 55 years. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her and even more the first time I heard her sing.” “While my personal loss is unimaginable,” he writes of his spouse of more than a half-century, “the world has lost one of the greatest pop vocalists of all time.” On The Ed Sullivan Show, in showrooms in the Catskills and in Las Vegas, Carnegie Hall and beyond, Steve and Eydie were longtime audience favorites. R.I.P.

Kevin Federline: Engaged to Victoria Prince!

Kevin Federline is engaged! Again! The former Mr. Britney Spears popped the question to Victoria Prince in Las Vegas, and plans to marry her there – possibly this weekend as well. “She said yes!” a source said. “Kevin told her he was going to Vegas for a job, but he surprised her by proposing and [plans on] marrying her while there.” K-Fed? Job? Should have been a dead giveaway right there. We’re just kidding. The couple is reportedly on cloud nine. The insider said, “Victoria really wanted this for a long time so she’s blown away. She’s proven herself with him from day one. Victoria is an awesome girl.” The former backup dancer and Victoria Prince , 30, a special ed teacher and former volleyball pro from Washington State, have been dating since 2008. They are parents to their 1-year-old daughter, Jordan Kay. Federline also has two sons with Britney Spears , Jayden James, 6, and Sean Preston, 7, and two other kids, Kori, 11, and Kaleb, 9, with Shar Jackson. Spears and Federline were married from 2004-2006. Congrats to Kevin and Victoria!

On June 30th 2013 I was planning on going to see Justin again…

On June 30th 2013 I was planning on going to see Justin again for my 2nd time. This time I paid for the tickets for my grandma and I to see him. I live 2 hours from Denver and I wanted to leave early in the morning in hopes Justin would come outside and say hello. When I got there I saw so many other fans walking around and standing by the entrance where the buses come in. While my grandma and I were walking around looking for ways to meet someone in the crew, we ran into a guy who was trying to sell M&Gs. As curious as I am, I asked him how much he was selling them for and he gave us a price that was much cheaper then the online prices. Of course I wanted them badly but never had the money to buy some. After a while the guy’s price when down a lot more than before so I asked my grandma to get them and guess what, she did! I was so excited! I called my dad and told him I was meeting my idol and he was so happy for me and said, “When I was your age Prince was my idol and I had the chance to have floor seats to see him and I didn’t get them, that was a big regret in my life, and it makes me happy to know you are getting the chance to meet your idol.” That made my day knowing he was happy for me. Once I got inside and had my bracelet and lanyard on, it didn’t feel real at all. While at the M&G VIP dinner I couldn’t eat at all but I met some really nice beliebers. Once the dinner was over they had a raffle for things Justin had for us. I was one number off from winning one of his tour gloves! Once we got down to the tunnel to meet Justin, I was shaking! I didn’t know what I was going to say or anything! In line I looked over and Dan Kanter was standing there talking to a few girls and I got to hear some amazing stories about them touring and Justin’s old monkey OG Malley! After a few minutes, the M&G line started moving and when it was my turn, I was starstruck! My idol was right in front of me. I went up to him, hugged him and he smiled/laughed at someone goofing off behind the camera. When they were about to take the photo I turned and smiled and Justin turned his head towards me! I said, “Thank you” and smiled and he smiled back. When it was my grandma’s turn, Justin called her adorable! We then got an autographed vinyl record from Justin! When I got back to the arena I could barely speak and I just cried. During the concert, at one point Justin said, “Follow your dreams and never say never!” That had me bawling because my dream was to meet my idol and it came true! Once I saw my picture with Justin, I couldn’t believe it was real. He was actually looking at me! Never would I have thought Justin would stare at me! After that night I’ve gotten so much love on Twitter for meeting him. This story proves dreams do come true and to always believe in yourself! In-Flight Turd-bulence : Gastroenteritis Stricken Tour Group Wreak Havoc During 13 Hour Plane Ride From Chile

This sounds like the s**ttiest flight ever! Via NYPost reports : Thirteen hours in the air, eight toilets and 26 passengers violently ill with gastroenteritis. That was the scene when an international flight became the trip from hell after 26 passengers fell sick during a Qantas flight. The group, believed to be a tour group traveling together, were sick before they embarked on the 13 hour and 51 minute flight from Santiago, Chile yesterday. “The people were sick prior to the flight,” a Qantas spokesman said. “It was a tour group that had food poisoning so it was contained to them.” A statement from the NSW Ministry of Health said the group had developed “vomiting and diarrhea on the plane” consistent with norovirus infection, which is a common cause of outbreaks of gastroenteritis in Australia and elsewhere. The flight was aboard a Boeing 747-400 which has a total of seven toilets located on the main deck and one on the upper deck. A statement from the NSW Ambulance service said the 26 passengers were assessed at the scene. “Of those, 16 patients required transport to hospital, three of whom were stretcher patients,” the statement reads. A total of 10 patients were transported to the Prince of Wales Hospital, the remaining six were transported to St George Hospital. “Ambulance will assess the sick passengers, and if well enough to leave they can be cohorted through the airport with minimal exposure to other passengers,” a Spokesperson from the Ministry of Health said. “NSW Health has provided Qantas with a letter and factsheet about viral gastro to distribute to all departing passengers, as well as advice for cleaning and cabin staff.” As a precaution, other passengers have been advised to keep a close eye on their health over the next 24 to 48 hours and seek medical advice if they become unwell. Scores of family members were left high and dry in the arrivals hall with no official word from Qantas over the incident. David Sanhueza and his family from Mount Druitt were left waiting two hours for his mother-in-law, Carmen Caro, visiting from Chile. Her granddaughter Jennifer Sanhueza said the family only found out what was going on from the news. “We weren’t told much, we only heard from a phone call that it was all over the news,” she said. Mrs Caro said the the group that got on in Brazil had been vomiting the whole flight. “A whole lot of kids got on the plane at Brazil and they were all vomiting and sick,” she said in Spanish translated by her granddaughter.
