In case you thought Kate Middleton got any less stylish over the past few months, you were mistaken! Not that anyone in their right mind would think that. Anyway. The Duchess of Cambridge turned heads this weekend at London’s annual military awards show designed to recognize servicemen and women throughout the UK. The 29-year-old wife of Prince William wore a beautiful black Alexander McQueen gown as she and husband William attended “A Night of Heroes.” Take a look … Yes, that is Prince Harry creeping in the background . The gown, which appeared to be strapless and black velvet, was accessorized with sparkly earrings and a necklace that she reportedly received as royal wedding gifts. Kate’s wedding dress, of course, was designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The girl definitely has her favorites … and exquisite taste, if you ask us. Wills, meanwhile, looked dapper in a classic black tux at the event, part of a busy week for the couple, who will spend Christmas at the palace and with her family. After a cloistered childhood, Paris, 13, the only daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson , opened up to Ellen about her formerly sheltered life and how her dad’s music inspired her acting. In excerpts released before the airing, Paris explained that her dad helped her prepare for her upcoming first movie role, in which she’ll play Lundon in “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” an adaptation of the fantasy series based on writer Dennis Christen’s novels. “When I was really little my dad was in the movie ‘Moonwalker’ and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act,” she said. “I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’ ” She said Michael also gave her at-home acting lessons. “We would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He would (say), ‘OK, in this scene you’re going to cry’ and I’d cry on the spot.” In one of the most (literally) revealing moments, Paris explained what it felt like for herself and her siblings, Prince and Blanket, to wear disguises for most of their young lives. “I’m like, ‘This is stupid. Why am I wearing a mask?’ But I kind of realized the older I got like he only tried to protect us and he’d explain that to us too,” she said. The masks, in fact, helped the three kids live as normal a life as they possibly could considering that their dad was one of the most-sought-after paparazzi targets on earth. “I do have like a regular childhood,” she said. “I mean, I’m treated the same. When I came to [my new school] they didn’t know who I was. I was like, ‘Yes, I have a chance to be normal.'” When asked if she realized how big a deal her dad was when she was a child, Paris admitted, “I just thought, ‘He’s got a few songs out,’ but I figured everyone did that.” In the action-animation hybrid “Lundon,” Paris will voice the lead character, a human, in a fantasy adventure in which “sea magic turns a dolphin into a human, a teenage boy into a dragonfly and a loving jellyfish queen into an evil fairy godmother.” Among the other voices in the movie are former CNN personality Larry King and his wife, Shawn, and ex ‘NSYNC member Joey Fatone. On Dec. 10, the pair were spotted partying together at the Dream Downtown Hotel in NYC — and they weren’t hiding their affection. “They were making out like teenagers,” says an eyewitness. And it wasn’t their first public sighting together. As Life & Style first reported, Cameron, 39, began dating Diddy, 42, in October, shortly after her breakup with New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez. Since then, the two have been spotted all over NYC together, having dinner at Catch Roof restaurant on Oct. 24, followed by a stroll through Washington Square Park the next day. A couple of weeks after that, they lunched together at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills. Congratulations are still very much in order to Rosie O’Donnell and fiancee Michelle Rounds, but the talk show host told her studio audience today that the couple has been engaged for weeks. She merely chose last Friday to go public with the good news. “Michelle said to me a few months ago, when we got engaged, she said, ‘How come you didn’t say it on your show?’ And I was like, ‘Honey, I don’t know how.’ I didn’t know how to say it,” O’Donnell said yesterday. Joking about a certain Two and a Half Men star, Rosie added about her reticence to talk openly about Rounds: “You don’t want to become one of those celebrities that talks about their relationship ad nauseum and makes it into a fairy-tale thing. And then they go and have an affair with somebody. I don’t want to say any names.” Don’t worry. We’ll do it for you .
After a brief hiatus, the rumor mill once again is buzzing with reports that Prince William got Kate Middleton pregnant with the future heir(ess) to the throne. The reason for the most recent speculation? A conspicuous clutch! When Kate joined her in-laws at a concert at Royal Albert Hall benefiting the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry and the Prince’s Trust, all eyes were on the Duchess … specifically her lower belly region, which was covered up! OMG! Like the entire cast of Grey’s Anatomy holding pillows and plates of food and sitting down a lot and being shown from the neck up, Kate is OBVIOUSLY pregnant, right? Not so fast. Middleton cinched a $99 lace-accented Zara sheath (which is already sold out, naturally) with a wide black belt, but when Kate was holding her purse off to the side, instead of in front, her waistline looked as tiny as always . So … that’s pretty much that. The ever-stylish princess also wore a black Ralph Lauren jacket, black tights and heels, BTW. She’s very pretty and was recently named Britain’s Best Dressed .
Scotty McCreery is having a good week. The most recent American Idol winner was named Best New Artist at last night’s American Country Awards , accepting the trophy via a live performance, as seen here: Scotty McCreery Wins, Performs! The young crooner also watched his debut album, “Clear as Day,” surpass 500,000 sold copies, a feat that took only two months to accomplish. It currently sits atop the Billboard Country Albums chart. “It’s huge,” Scotty said in a statement. “Every artist dreams of a gold album and works hard for it, so it’s a major accomplishment to have your debut album go gold. This is just incredible.” Way to go, Scotty M! We’re very happy to see you overcome this Thanksgiving incident .
In this sneak peek of American Chopper , former Monster Garage Jesse James goes head to head with Paul Teutul and Paul Teutul, Jr., to build a new bike. True to form, he’s also got a lot to say about his personal life. “I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad,” James says at the beginning of the episode. Jesse James American Chopper Preview His reference to America’s Sweetheart Sandra Bullock, who he cheated on rampantly, as “some Hollywood actress” is not likely to endear him to viewers. As for why he came back to reality TV? “I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show ’em that I’m still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I’m not what I became,” says James. It’s not clear if James is blaming Bullock for “what he became,” but given the reasons for their marriage imploding, it’s hard not to read into it somewhat. After divorcing Bullock, he got engaged to Kat Von D, only to have that fall apart as well after he reportedly cheated on Kat 19 times (according to her). James goes on to say that his bikes are “built to be punished.” It seems that could also apply to any woman crazy enough to enter a relationship with him.
