Mark Sanchez did not lead the New York Jets to a single offensive touchdown in the team’s first preseason game. But a new report makes it clearer than ever: the quarterback is having no trouble scoring with Eva Longoria! Rumors of Longoria and Sanchez as an item first started in June and are now heating up after the famous twosome allegedly spent two nights together over Labor Day weekend. According to The New York Post , Longoria was spotted at Sanchez’s home in Bedminster, New Jersey on Friday; she then took in a performance of “Rock of Ages” with the signal caller Saturday and followed that up by dining with Sanchez at Japanese hot spot Nobu in NYC. Based on her marriage to Tony Parker, of course, we all know Eva has a thing for professional athletes. The only question remaining: Did Sanchez split the gorgeous actress’ uprights… if you know what we mean?!?

Katie Couric: Kate Middleton Too Thin, "Needs to Eat More"

Discussing her new show Katie and which celebrities she’d like to interview, Katie Couric made some surprisingly candid remarks about one in particular. “I think it would be interesting to interview Kate Middleton because she has comported herself so well since she has been thrust in the limelight,” she said. However, she added, “I think she needs to eat more because she’s so thin.” Royal sources consistently reiterate that there is no problem with Kate’s dietary habits, yet speculation and discussion about Kate’s slender frame persist. Some even think it may be at least part of the reason that the newlyweds have yet to become pregnant, despite their expressed desire to start a family . It is not clear why Couric – who was granted exclusive access to the Royals for her ABC News Special – would have made the extraordinary comments . She surely meant no harm, but the weight topic is a sensitive one to say the least at the palace, especially given Princess Diana’s battle with bulimia. Kate Middleton is not bulimic, obviously, and even seems to have put on (a little) weight in the past few weeks, though she remains naturally thin. Gabriel Aubry Says Halle Berry Will Die Like Princess Diana …If she moves Nahla to France to live with their crazy-azz paparazzi! Via TMZ: Halle Berry faces the same tragic fate as Princess Diana if she moves to France — so said Gabriel Aubry’s attorney in L.A. court … TMZ has learned. As we reported, Halle and Gabriel are embroiled in a court battle over whether Halle should be allowed to move to France with the ex-couple’s daughter Nahla. Halle believes the kid will be better protected from aggressive paparazzi in France … thanks to the country’s strict anti-pap laws. But Gabriel’s attorney argued Halle and Nahla would be walking right into the lion’s den — because France is the same country where Princess Diana was killed in a wild paparazzi car chase back in 1997. Halle’s lawyer called several French lawyers — who testified that French judges will nail any photog who goes after a celeb. Under French laws, paparazzi can’t photograph celebrities who don’t want their pictures taken — even if they’re out in public. Photogs who violate the law can be sued for big bucks, and if they harass the celeb they can be criminally prosecuted. Do you agree with Catch Fade Gabe, or is he just being extra??

Hit the Road, Barack: Newsweek Cover Calls For Obama Defeat

It’s not quite Time’s breastfeeding cover , but Newsweek is generating plenty of headlines with its new controversial cover story calling for President Obama’s defeat. The title says it all: “Hit the Road, Barack. Why We Need a New President.” Niall Ferguson delves a list of what he calls Obama’s broken promises and budget failures, advocating instead for the Republican ticket of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. In a statement addressing the cover, Newsweek’s executive editor, Justine Rosenthal, said they wanted to give readers a taste of both sides of the aisle. “These are arguments; they aren’t just reported pieces,” she says. This certainly isn’t the first time Newsweek has had a controversial cover of late, having dubbed Obama “ The First Gay President ” earlier this year. The magazine’s penchant for buzzy covers extends beyond politics: Its most talked about may have been of Princess Diana and Kate Middleton . Regarding the Obama cover, you can follow the link to read why the publication feels we need a new president , though it’s really nothing new. If you think Obama deserves four more years, you know the counter-arguments. If you want him out, you’ll probably agree with the bulk of it. If anything I find it obnoxious and taking opportunity away from actual hot girls who need the money and exposure, cuz they don’t have a ridiculous trust fund to finance a ridiculous life like these Geldoff girls…. But I do appreciate any bitch topless on a beach in Europe, even if tits are just tits, and not worth celebrating, especially these fucking tits that need a bit of work, but even if tits are just tits, I still like em…. Having replaced one-time star Jessica Chastain in the Princess Diana biopic Caught in Flight , Naomi Watts was photographed on the set of the now-filming project, and the resemblance is… uncanny. Maybe it’s just the layered period blonde perm or the boxy sensible suit ‘n’ tights, but Watts looks to have slid quite fittingly into the skin of the late Princess of Wales, who embarks on a torrid love affair with Pakistani-born heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan (played by LOST ‘s Naveen Andrews) in the ’90s-set drama. The film (directed by Downfall ‘s Oliver Hirshbiegel) depicts Princess Di and Khan’s secret two-year relationship, which ended just months before her tragic death in 1997.
