Young heir to the throne Prince George will be privately christened on October 23, when he is just over three months old, according to the royal family. The venue holds special significance, as the Chapel Royal at St. James’ Palace is where Princess Diana’s coffin lay before her Westminster Abbey funeral. Indeed, the BBC reports that the Henry VIII-built chapel is a very small space, which means the baptism will likely only be for close family and friends. George’s dad, Prince William, was christened at Buckingham Palace in 1982. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revered Justin Welby, will perform the christening of William and Kate Middleton ‘s first-born child next month. Prince George Christening Announced “I am delighted to be invited to conduct the baptism of His Royal Highness Prince George,” the Archbishop said in a statement after the event was confirmed. “It is a great privilege and honor and will without doubt be an occasion of immense joy and celebration. I am looking forward to welcoming him into the family of the church.” Born July 22, the royal baby will wear a copy of the lace and satin gown worn in 1841 by Queen Victoria’s oldest daughter, Victoria, to the christening. Whatever Kate Middleton wears will instantly sell out. Kate Middleton and Prince William, who just welcomed their first child July 22, already want another baby, according to a celebrity gossip tabloid report. They’re even “eyeing” being pregnant by Christmas, according to Life & Style . It seems crazy to think that not even two months after becoming parents, they’re looking to get pregnant a second time, but does that mean it’s untrue? Their families were reportedly STUNNED by this “announcement” of theirs. The proof, and how the tabloid would possibly know, of course, is unclear. But the timing is perfect, the magazine claims, and the duo’s siblings – Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton – reportedly helped influence the joyful decision. We’re sure Harry and Pippa are thrilled about their little nephew. Whether Kate Middleton is already thinking about his sibling is another story. It’s not out of the question, of course, given how well motherhood suits her. For what it’s worth, Kate’s little sister is only 20 months younger than she, while the late Princess Diana had William and Harry 25 months apart. William and Kate, both 31, may not wait long.
