Don’t cry for Teresa Giudice, people. Yes, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is behind bars in Connecticut at the moment. But she deserves to be there for being a deceitful law-breaker, for starters. And she’ll also make plenty of bank once she’s released in a few months. We previously reported that Giudice will be receiving quite a raise from Bravo when she returns to The Real Housewives of New Jersey next year. And now the awful reality star’s attorney has confirmed that Teresa will be releasing a memoir about her time as an inmate. The memoir will be based on the diaries Giudice has been keeping ever since she starting doing time for various counts of fraud. “It’s going to be about growing up from humble beginnings,” lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. tells Us Weekly about the planned book, adding: “She will also tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars.” Yes, we’re all dying to know what life behind bars as a minimum security prison is like, especially when Giudice has so far revealed such juicy nuggets as the color of her soy burger. Perhaps anyone curious about jail ought to watch Orange is the New Black online instead of paying to line the pockets of someone already rich and famous and really, really, really terrible.
