NASCAR’s Denny Hamlin was hospitalized overnight after being airlifted to a hospital after a hard single-car crash on final lap of Sunday’s Auto Club 400. Hamlin was awake and alert in the infield care center before being transported, but was taken to a hospital after complaining of lower back pain. A helicopter was used due to post-race traffic. Denny Hamlin Crash The scary incident happened as Hamlin was helped from his car after the hard hit and seemed to collapse outside his car after he had pulled the net down. Hamlin’s girlfriend, Jordan Fish, tweeted on Sunday night: “Thank u everyone for your messages concerning Denny. Darian is keeping us posted.” “He’s alert n awake, main concern is his back #PrayersforDH” Joey Logano and Hamlin, who have traded barbs since the season opening Daytona 500, battled side by side, bumping and passing in the closing laps. They were drag racing down the backstretch, but Logano went into the outside wall, Hamlin went into the inside wall and Kyle Busch sailed by for the win. “After what happened last week, that’s what (Hamlin) gets,” Logano said after the race. “We have nothing to hang our heads about, that’s for sure.”

Tim Tebow TiVo Commercial The famous virgin has been offered David Dginguerian’s next movie, as the producer sent a letter to the signal caller this week and referred to Tebow as an “inspiration to so many on the field and off.” As a result, Dginguerian is “certain that [his] passion will also come through in films.” Dginguerian is the man behind the religious film Crossroad and although he doesn’t actually specify the type of movie for which he wants Tebow now, the executive does refer to the project as “faith-based.” With his NFL career, ironically, at a crossroads, Tebow has also been offered a job with the Arena League .
A deposition surfaced this week in the Kim Kardashian divorce case that appears at first glance to be bad news for her … but may actually hurt Kris Humphries more. In court documents, a producer of Kim’s reality show admits that he re-shot her reaction to Kris’ marriage proposal, her discussing their split and other scenes. Kris, who has been angling for an annulment on grounds of fraud (rather than simply divorcing Kim) since 2011, reportedly feels “vindicated” by this confession. A strange sentiment, since it may actually derail his case. First, the producer says Kim was “completely surprised” and “didn’t give a good reaction” to Kris’ proposal, so she asked that it be re-shot for the show. Shocking, we know. Keeping Up is scripted and staged. Their marriage was a sham in the sense of values, for sure. Everything she does is micro-managed. But in terms of an actual conspiracy against Kris? From a legal standpoint, all this does is HURT Kris’ big argument, as he is alleging that she fraudulently induced him to marry her for her own gain. Kris Humphries Proposal Prep That was a pretty big stretch anyway, but this deposition confirms that Kris proposed and she was – gasp – surprised! As in she didn’t see it coming! Hard to argue that someone defrauded you if you propose and they say yes, even if they re-shoot it for TV. Kris also knew, obviously, that they re-shot it. As far as re-shooting and/or misleading edits of scenes after the couple split up … they had split up by then and he agreed to be on a show that has editors.
