Lohans Mulling Over Legal Action Against Movie

Filed under: Lindsay Lohan , Dina Lohan , Lydia hearst , Celebrity Justice Producers of ” Dogs in Pocketbooks ” — a movie pretty clearly based on Lindsay Lohan ‘s wild ride — may have to open their own pocketbooks, because the Lohan clan is considering legal action. As we told you yesterday, “Dogs” is based on a spoiled brat… Read more

Pixie Lott Is A Sexy Kitty

I thought Halloween was months ago, so why the hell is this Pixie Lott chick dressed up as a kitty cat? Is this something the kids are doing today, am I losing touch with todays youth? I knew it! I guess I can get into it, I have an old Snoopy costume in the attic from when I was younger, I think I can squeeze myself into it if Pixie wants to come over and give a dog a bone play in the yard. Call me.

Karissa Shannon And The Other One Get Sexy

Here’s Karissa Shannon and the other white meat her sister at the premiere of Sofia Coppola’s new movie ‘ Somewhere ‘. I’m surprised that these two were invited to an A-list event like this, either they’re moving up in the world or one of them must be “friends” with one of the producers or something. I don’t really know which one is which anymore so I’m going to generalise and say that both their boobs look nice. Double your pleasure… Yes please.

Charles Krauthammer Rips Liberal Media for Being Obsessed with Sarah Palin

Charles Krauthammer on Friday tore into the liberal media for being obsessed with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. After Krauthammer scolded the “editorial judgment” of the producers of PBS's “Inside Washington” for week after week prominently displaying her as the “only representative of conservatism of any importance” in this nation, the Washington Post's Colby King proved his point (video follows with transcript and commentary): read more

Jessica Simpson Keeps Growing And Growing

This is yet another disappointing start to the day involving Jessica Simpson’s ever growing waistline. Here she is leaving the Project Runway runway show where she was a judge for the season finale. I don’t know how the producers let her get away with wearing this bedazzled garbage bag as a dress, but that’s another issue. Anyhow, it’s pretty clear that her chubcakes have grown substantially and I for one want to see them. Stat!

The 9 Most Scathing Critical Responses to January Jones’s Emmy Style

Listen, I am no fashion critic, and Movieline’s “9 Most Scathing” feature very rarely extends beyond the realm of terrible new films . I also know our female celebrities face an endlessly difficult challenge of finding a balance between classic red-carpet appeal and envelope-pushing couture. So in that regard, I tip my cap to January Jones, whose Emmy look in Versace represented an eye-popping embrace of risk, presence, glamour and about 80 or 90 discarded blue mylar balloons. True, Jones’s de-accessorized, bedheaded, train-for-days style had its fans. But its critics are speaking a little louder today, and, well, they’re right. Read on for a noteworthy cross-section.

Who Got Left Out of the Emmy Death Montage This Year?

It’s hard to blame the producers of the Emmys (and, by extension, the Oscars) for leaving out certain deceased members of the Hollywood community while recapping the year in death during the awards telecast. After all, time is tight — especially when you’ve got Jewel singing! Still, here are three notable names that were left out of the Emmy death montage.

Jersey Shore Fresh-to-Death Report Card: ‘The Letter’

Last night’s episode of Jersey Shore was called “The Letter,” much like that annoying Joe Cocker song everyone keeps singing on American Idol . JWOWW and Snooki used their best ALL CAPS warning to alert Sammi of Ronnie’s “true pig” ways, but were they successful? Let’s break it down using the fairest rubric of all: the Fresh-to-Death Report Card.

Modern Family Creator Steve Levitan: Why Hulu Will Lead to Televised Panda Sneezing

Earlier this month , Modern Family co-creator Steve Levitan took to Twitter to discuss the ever-growing rift between showrunners and Hulu: namely, without an adequate ratings system or business model, Hulu and other web streaming outlets (like his own network’s ABC. com) are costing him and other producers money. Fair point, indeed, but what does Levitan have in mind to correct this? Hint: Commercials.

Watch Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show Writers Apply For Minimum Wage Jobs

At least that’s what this weekend’s Emmy B-Roll had them doing. The writing staff of The Tonight Show with Conan O’B rien followed in the tradition of Best Variety Writing nominees by submitting a short clip to be shown during the Creative Arts Emmy Ceremony — and theirs, of course, alluded to their collective unemployment following the NBC upheaval.
