And if I’m not physically with her, it’s hard to remember in the moment that I’m talking to Caitlyn, if that makes sense.” Khloé’s statements about Caitlyn’s voice mirror a clip from an upcoming episode of “I Am Cait,” in which the 65-year-old former Olympic athlete tries to put on her best “feminine voice” for Kim, 34. Bucknell University Students Expelled Over Racist Remarks Three Pennsylvania college students were expelled from school after they made disgustingly racist remarks including “lynch ‘em” and “black people should be dead” over a radio broadcast. The Huffington Post reports: A private Pennsylvania college expelled three students over a campus radio broadcast in which they made racist comments and used a slur. Bucknell University president John Bravman met with about 1,000 students and staff about the matter on Tuesday, a day after sending a late-night email revealing the expulsions. “Their conduct is an affront to our values, damaging to our community and in clear violation of our community standards,” he wrote to students, faculty and staff on Monday. Bravman did not identify the students but shared their comments from a March 20 WVBU-FM broadcast in “the interest of transparency and candor.” He said one of the students used the N-word, a second said “black people should be dead” and the third said “lynch ‘em.” Bucknell spokesman Andy Hirsch said an inmate a nearby prison heard the comments and reported them to a prisoner advocacy group, the Lewisburg Prison Project. The group then contacted a university faculty member, who alerted the radio station’s adviser. Hirsch said the school’s senior staff investigated. The students were suspended and interviewed before the dean of students expelled them, he said. “I would emphasize that the context really doesn’t matter once you see what was said,” Hirsch said. Hirsch declined to say if alcohol was involved, noting the investigation is not complete. “I can tell you that there were other people at the station,” he said. “Whether or not they were there at the time when this happened, we’re still looking into all those details.” Bucknell, a liberal arts school with about 3,600 undergraduates, is located in Lewisburg, about 50 miles north of Harrisburg. The student body is 79 percent white, 5 percent Hispanic, 4 percent Asian and 3 percent African-American. The Lewisburg Prison Project said an inmate at the federal penitenary in Lewisburg wrote a letter about the comments. “He didn’t feel this is right and thought something should be done about it,” said David Sprout, a paralegal for the group. LeToya Luckett Dishes On “Single Ladies” LeToya Luckett is prepping for the reemergence of the black, the beautiful and the bossy that will strut back onto the small screen when “Single Ladies” premieres March 18. With that in mind, the actress recently chatted with BOSSIP at Centric’s “Sip & Share” brunch to dish on the only network for Black women bringing the show back for a fourth season as well as her friend Taraji P. Henson’s stellar success on “Empire.” Check out our chat with LeToya below.BOSSIP: What does “Single Ladies”‘ move to Centric mean for the show? LeToya Luckett: I’m one for new starts and I’m not afraid of change at all. I think that its found a home at a great network because it’s designed for women. “Single Ladies” is all about sisterhood and the real things that women go through; the relationships, the makeups, the break ups—all these different things that women go through everyday. I think its found a great home at Centric. BOSSIP: Your character is known for being a boss. What is she up to this season? LeToya Luckett: She’s still a boss honey, she’s still ice cold. I think Felicia is a little bit more open this season and you’ll get to see inside her life and see why she’s as ice cold as she is. She’s fun, she’s fun too. Not to say that she lightens up a bit because I think the reason I loved her so much is because she was so hardcore. I think that definitely is still who Felicia is, but she’s going through some changes. BOSSIP: Why do you think a scripted series like “Single Ladies” is continuing to standout in this age of reality television? LeToya Luckett: The thing people love about reality TV so much I feel is that they feel they can relate to this person. I feel like “Single Ladies” still has that element because women are able to relate to each character and what each one is going through on the show. I also feel like it’s because of the fashion. Anthony [Williams] who’s over our costume design, does a wonderful job of creating the wardrobe around each character’s personality. You know Felicia wears a strong black and a red lip. Then there’s LisaRaye who has this gorgeous body and is shapely, and he [Anthony] creates clothes that women in the world can identify with. I think you can look at the show and say, ‘oh she did that? I can do that too!’ BOSSIP: Talk to me about the state of Black television right now, we have “Blackish”, “Single Ladies”, “Empire”; how does it feel to be a part of that? LeToya Luckett: It’s great. I’m a huge fan of Taraji [P. Henson]. That’s my girl. I love her not only because she’s a phenomenal actress but because she’s a phenomenal woman. That woman has given me so many opportunities and kept her word on so many things, and it’s so great to see her on primetime television running ‘thangs as she should. Golden Brooks Denies Wanting To Steal Paula Jai Parker’s Husband It had been a while since Paula Jai Parker felt it necessary to check a woman about her man, but she didn’t hesitate to do so when she thought Golden Brooks was being a little too friendly toward her husband. Via S2S Magazine reports: Golden made it clear to her “Hollywood Divas” co-star that Forest, Paula’s spouse, was not what Golden considered desirable, and the former “Girlfriends” actress thinks Paula may want to get a grip. “She needs to loosen the reins a bit because, like I said, don’t nobody want her man . I’m not judging anyone’s marriage but I think sometimes if you have some stuff that hasn’t been dealt with and we get caught in the crossfire. I think her overreaction has nothing to do with me or any of us,” Golden told TVOne.TV. On the show, viewers witnessed Paula defend her marriage and forbid her co-stars from contacting her husband directly, with the exception of Elise Neal; although, he is supposedly the assistant director who runs things when Paula is unavailable. Paula also refused to give out her man’s personal email address, assuming he has one, and forced the ladies to use their shared account. “We are just the scapegoats for her insecurities,” Golden said. “This all started way before us.” After putting her cast members in their place and establishing the correct protocol for contacting her husband, Paula seemingly put the incident behind her. Though that’s the least of the ladies’ problems when it comes to their production. In addition to Paula’s perpetual absences, actress Countess Vaughn underwent surgery just days before production on their project began. As one of the executive producers, Golden felt it was her job to have an understudy in place. “Do you want to be on camera looking like a chipmunk? No. I was trying to be protective of her not looking her best on camera,” explained Golden who offered to take personal control of Golden’s weight loss. “I don’t think putting her on camera two days after surgery was a good idea.” Golden’s co-stars and some fans didn’t take kindly to her suggestion that Countess’ role be recast or removed from the film, but she doesn’t regret introducing the idea. “It doesn’t feel good, but you have to deal with business.
