Robert Pattinson Wants to Be a Stripper, is One Weird Dude

Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce appeared on Good Morning America today to promote their new film, The Rover. During his interview, however, Pattinson decided to slip in a plug for another project as well: Robert Pattinson on Good Morning America Asked if he’d like to have an acting career similar to Pearce’s, Pattinson weirdly replied, “I was talking about my side career as a male stripper.” He laughs afterward, so we can assume he’s kidding, but while we may never see him on stage at Chippendale’s, there’s one thing we know for certain – Rob’s a strange bird. Sadly, the topic of whether Pattinson is dating Katy Perry are dating didn’t come up so we have no new information on whether or not those two will be doing weird stuff together and bringing weird kids into the world. This isn’t the first glimpse we’ve gotten into the unique inner world of Edward Cullen. Pattinson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel  last week, where he claimed to be homeless and told a story about saliva. Yeah, and you thought dating Kristen Stewart for that long was the weirdest thing he would ever do. Fortunately, Rob’s got the looks and talent to be as mumbly and eccentric as he wants and still make it in Hollywood. Actually, the exact same thing could be said of K-Stew. Maybe they were the perfect couple, after all! 28 HAWT Photos of Robert Pattinson 1. Robert Pattinson for Dior Robert Pattinson is not bad looking, is he? Drool away, ladies!

Michael Sam Reality Show on Hold, Rams Unhappy About Series

The Michael Sam reality show has been indefinitely placed on hold. The former Missouri defensive end and SEC Defensive Player of the Year became the first openly gay player drafted by the NFL this month. A few days ago, he announced that he had signed on for a series with OWN that would chronicle his journey to making the team. It was a move met with criticism by those who cited Sam himself as saying he wanted to be known as just a football player, not a gay football player – and how many seventh round draft picks star in reality shows? Now, following an admission by the St. Louis Rams that they were unaware of Sam’s deal with OWN prior to choosing him and were afraid he could become a “distraction,” Sam has pulled out of the series. “After today’s meeting with the Rams, we collectively feel it is best to postpone the project,” Sam’s agent said in a statement. “This will allow for Michael to have a total focus on football, and will ensure no distractions to his teammates. “Everybody involved remains committed to this project and understands its historical importance as well as its positive message.” Michael Sam Drafted by St. Louis Rams

You Ain’t Beyoncé: Mariah Carey Plotting To Drop 14th Album Using A Surprise Approach

Not to take anything away from her, BUT… Will Mimi be able to pull off the “surprise” album in the same fashion that Beyoncé did? Mariah Carey Reveals Plans To Surprise Fans With New Album We know she has a legion of fans but still! Billboard Magazine just revealed Carey’s plans as part of their upcoming cover story on the diva: Carey will be taking a surprise approach to the project by revealing her new album’s title, track listing, artwork and music all at once via to-be-announced digital partners (a physical release at retail is expected the following week.) “I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title,” Carey says, noting that the album takes its name from a “personal possession of mine that’s part of an entity that I’ve had almost all my life.” Though Carey doesn’t mention other artists in describing her strategy, it’s clear she’s taking a page out of the “Beyoncé” playbook. It’s a particularly direct parallel when you consider that Beyoncé herself was coming off an underperforming album (2011′s “4″) before opting to go the surprise route — much in the way that Carey’s last album, 2009′s “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel,” produced just one top 10 hit (“Obsessed”) and sold a disappointing 549,000 copies, low enough to cancel a planned remix album. Though last summer’s Miguel duet “#Beautiful” was a bonafide hit, peaking at No. 15 on the Hot 100 and selling 1.2 million downloads, a string of other singles (“Triumphant,” “Almost Home,” “Eternal [You’re Mine]“) have failed to catch fire along the way. In the Billboard cover story, out Monday, Carey and her new manager Jermaine Dupri talk candidly about the rocky road to the album’s launch – from the failed singles to her drama-plagued stint on “American Idol” in 2013 to the shoulder injury that nearly derailed her plans altogether (“I really downplayed that incident.”) And wait, how much of a surprise is this album really going to be now that the cat is out of the proverbial bag? The full Billboard interview drops Monday but here’s a couple more tidbits from the preview: Frequent collaborators Rodney Jerkins and Dupri are back for Album No. 14, but so is a surprisingly diverse roster that ranges from of-the-moment producers like Hit-Boy and Mike Will Made It, guest features from Wale, Nas and Trey Songz and even contributions from veteran arranger Larry Gold and the Love Unlimited Orchestra. There’s also “a special guest star that I’m not allowed to reveal,” Carey teases. Let’s just hope it’s not her hubby Nick Cannon! Mariah also says she isn’t ready to give up the mic : Despite recent comments to Bravo’s Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” (“If this were to be my last album, people would hear everything they needed to hear”), Carey is not calling it quits anytime soon. “I will always make music. When I said it could be my last, that’s because tomorrow’s not promised to anyone.” She’s also planning to return to the small screen: Her rocky stint with Nicki Minaj on “American Idol” last year notwithstanding, Carey says she’d like her next reality-competition venture to be something where she was executive producer. “I have another project that I’m so very excited about that’s finally coming to fruition.” Are you excited about Mimi’s new album? How about the TV project? Instagram/Billboard

Behind The Scenes Of Avian’s “Billboard Chick” Video Shoot With Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, And Cam’ron

Dipset reunited on this track for the first time in 3 years , and BOSSIP was on set for the action. We told you about newcomer Avian and her hot new ode to same-sex groupie-loving “Billboard Chick” a few weeks back. Now, Avian got together with the recently reunited members of Dipset Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana to shoot a visual for this wild track. We caught up with Avian and Jim Jones to get more details on the track and Dipset’s support of this new artist. BOSSIP: So, we obviously noticed that you name-dropped quite a few of your industry girl-crushes on the track… Avian: When we were making this song, I was like “Yo, I wanna make a song about some hot b***hes!” So, obviously we name-dropped the hottest b***hes in the game right now. It’s all about having fun… This song is clearly like a ratchet, crazy song, so I definitely want people to know that I don’t hold anything back. This is me, this is who I am. I’m fun, I’m outgoing, I have a million different crazy sides, so I want people to hear the record and have fun with it. Love it for what it is, because that’s who I am. BOSSIP: So who is Avian? Avian: I am born and raised in New York and I’ve been singing my entire life. I’ve been signed with my independent production label MBAM for about three years now, and when Jim heard the record, he recognized the talent and I’m really fortunate that they all hopped on the track with me. They made this record what it is. BOSSIP: Speaking of which, how does it feel to be the one that was able to get these guys back together on a record? Avian: Amazing! I’m totally blessed to have Dipset on this track with me. It’s so cool since they haven’t done a track together in mad long, and they chose to have this reunion with me. I’m totally honored and it’s been so fun! The whole team is awesome and this record is gonna pop, for sure. Jim Jones had nothing but nice things to say about Avian, this track, and her talent: BOSSIP: What made Dipset decide to reconnect on a track with Avian in particular? Jim Jones: Avian is a talented girl. I got to hear a bunch of her music. I did the song a minute ago, but the opportunity presented itself to put my brothers on the record. Business is business and good music is good music. I f*ck with her. I’ll be executive producing her project soon, should be some good music to come out of that. Peep more pics from the shoot below, and be on the lookout for Avian’s official music video in the upcoming weeks. Photos: The Legion Media Group

Director Oliver Stone Quits Adultery-Laden MLK Jr Biopic “He Was NOT A Saint”

Born sinner ? Oliver Stone Out Of MLK Biopic Citing Creative Differences Via MetroUK Director Oliver Stone has quit a Martin Luther King biopic following a disagreement with King’s estate over how he should be portrayed. Stone, who was set to write and direct the project, revealed on Twitter that the film’s producers weren’t happy with his script, which touched on ‘adultery, conflicts within the movement, and King’s spiritual transformation into a higher, more radical being’. He added that he was worried that the film would be ‘suffocated’ as a result of his departure and the completed movie would gloss over King’s flaws. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther “The King” Jr. is an iconic figure not just for black folks, but for America as a whole. That said, it has been documented that he did succumb to certain…transgressions in his abbreviated life. Do you feel that Oliver Stone has a right/obligation to present those side of King’s life as well? Flip the page to read the rest of Olvier’s 140-character soliloquy.
