Julie Gayet Rumored to Be Mistress of French President

Julie Gayet is making headlines in France for being that nation’s version of Monica Lewinsky . The 41-year old actress is rumored to be sleeping with French President Francois Hollande, as rumors continue to swirl around the actions of that politician overseas. Gayet is married to Argentinia director and script writer Santiago Amigorena and has two kids. She started acting at the age of 17 and recently portrayed a diplomatic adviser at the French foreign ministry in Quai d’Orsay . Gayet may be coy about her supposed affair with the President, but she’s always supported Hollande. In 2012, Gayet appeared in a promotional video for the President in which she described the Socialist candidate as “marvelous,” “humble” and “somebody who really listens.” See. There’s the key, fellas. Women love a man who listens. Chatter about a relationship between Gayet and Hollande first emerged early last year, but were flatly denied by both sides. The actress even engaged in legal action against various websites that were running the story, charging “infringement of personal privacy.” However, Gayet was asked about Hollande last month during a television interview when the reporter joked of the President visiting Gayet’s latest movie set: “The President loves the film. His partner [Valerie Treierweiler] much less.” Gayet, for possibly understandable reasons, refused to comment.

Sarah Palin Aims to Inspire Women, Hates on Selfies

Sarah Palin is going from standing up for TV stars (she’s on Team Phil Robertson ) to being a TV star herself. The former Vice Presidential candidate appeared this morning at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in promotion of “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” which premieres April 3 on the Sportsman Channel. “It’s gonna be huge and it’s gonna be fun,” Palin told reporters, explaining that the series will follow her and other family members around the country. They’ll hunt. They’ll fish. They’ll ride snowmobiles. And she hopes they’ll set an example to others around the nation. “I want young women to be inspired by the show that we’re going to put together,” said Palin. “One of the reasons is because I think this world would be better off having more young women holding a fish in a picture and fewer of them holding their camera in front of a bathroom mirror doing a selfie.” Whoa there! Did Sarah Palin just call out Kim Kardashian ? We may be coming around on her after all. Palin also said she’s “more excited” about this project than has been about many others she’s pursued since quitting her job as Alaska Governor. Why? Because of the red, white and blue, people! “What our show is gonna do is highlight people, places and things that can embrace and inspire that American spirit that we need more of,” Palin says. “It’s not going to be some kind of fake, scripted reality show.” And now a slam of Keeping Up with the Kardashians ?!? Sarah Palin for President!

Jennifer Hudson Buys Assistant a House, Amazing Freak-Out Ensues

Man. We may get to stare at Kate Upton photos all day, but we are clearly in the wrong business. Jennifer Hudson has made it appareny that the best occupation out there is her assistant, a fact Walter Williams discovered on Tuesday when the former American Idol finalist and Academy Award winner bought Williams a house. Yes, a HOUSE. In the following clip, posted by Hudson, we see Williams react to this gift by dropping the paperwork on the ground and screaming. Over and over and over and over… Jennifer Hudson Gives Assistant a House Hudson and Williams have been friends since elementary school. But Hudson is also all about being awesome to those she scarcely knows. She may help turn her childhood home in Englewood, Illinois into a women’s shelter. “We still own the home and I would like to turn it into a shelter for women as soon as possible or by my mother’s birthday, which is November 7,” the former American Idol contestant’s sister told DNAinfo Chicago in August. “At least that is what I would like to see the house used for.” No word yet on the status of this project. But even the mere thought is an impressive one.

J.K. Rowling Announces Stage Production of Harry Potter Prequel

First, J.K. Rowling announced a Harry Potter spinoff . Now, the author has announced plans to take her beloved franchise in the opposite direction. Rowling has confirmed that she’s co-producing a stage production about the boy wizard’s pre-Hogwarts years, one that will ask and answer: “What was it like to be the boy in the cupboard under the stairs?” The play promises to ”explore the previously untold story of Harry’s early years as an orphan and outcast,” offering ”a unique insight into the heart and mind of the now legendary young wizard.” Further details are being kept a secret for now, but various characters from the books and films are expected to make an appearance. Referring to fellow producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, Rowling said in a statement: “Over the years I have received countless approaches about turning Harry Potter into a theatrical production, but Sonia and Colin’s vision was the only one that really made sense to me, and which had the sensitivity, intensity and intimacy I thought appropriate for bringing Harry’s story to the stage. “After a year in gestation it is exciting to see this project moving on to the next phase. I’d like to thank Warner Bros. for their continuing support in this project.” This exciting news arrives three months after Rowling shocked fans with the proclamation that she’s developing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a big screen version of her “textbook” covering the magical Potter universe.

A Lil Positivity: The Game Donates $10,000 To Philippines Typhoon Victims

Nice to see Game stepping up for those in need. The Game Donates $10,000 To Philippines Typhoon Victims We hope other celebrities will follow Game’s lead. According to Rolling Out: Compton rapper The Game has pledged to donate $10,000 to help with relief efforts in the aftermath of the deadly typhoon that recently ripped through the Philippines. “This hurts my heart knowing that many of those amongst the dead are little children,” said The Game on his Instagram page. “It is in these times where we as people of this world get the opportunity to unite with one another & give back, help, lend a hand, donate or just send prayers.” The super storm that stuck the Southeastern Asian country has as of date left over 3,500 people dead, over 1,100 missing, and over 12,000 injured. In contrast to his tough talking rapper image, The Game has continued to show up when people are in need. This latest donation is just one in a long line of charitable gestures made by the rapper, whose given name is Jayceon Taylor, through his “The Robin Hood Project” organization. Justin Bieber: Humbled, Awoken by Guatemalan School Building Excursion

Justin Bieber can often come across like a spoiled, entitled brat. Recent cases in point: the singer drunkenly peed into a restaurant mop bucket . He was also carried up The Great Wall of China by his bodyguards. But then you’re reminded that Bieber is really a pretty darn good guy. Even when he keeps his shirt on. Justin spent the weekend in Guatemala City, joining a team from the charity Pencils of Promise and building a school for local, underprivileged children in the area. The funds for the project were raised by his “Believe tour” and Bieber Tweeted that it was an especially “powerful and humbling” experience. Watch the following video for more from Justin, as he recounts why this endeavor woke him up and should serve as a reminder to us all that we’re very, very lucky: Justin Bieber: Woken Up by Trip to Guatemala
