Roy Williams Proposes by Mail, Gets Rejected, Demands Engagement Ring Back

Turns out, Roy Williams can’t hold on to a football or a beautiful woman. The underachieving wideout for the Dallas Cowboys proposed to Brooke Daniels last month, a beauty queen from Texas. But it wasn’t your typical proposal. Williams reportedly sent her a package that included: $5,000 for school and dental bills. A signed baseball (for Daniels’ brother) A recorded marriage proposal. A $76,000 ring. Daniels rejected the proposal – but did not send back the ring! In response, Williams has filed a lawsuit, but Daniels’ father says he’ll make sure his daughter does the right thing. He also claims the wide receiver told Brooke to keep it. “He said her, ‘I’m not like a lot of people, I don’t want the ring back. You’ll eventually come back to me,’ and she didn’t,” the father said. Williams better hope the NFL lockout ends soon. That way, we can go back to talking about how huge of a bust he is and not how huge of a moron he is.

That’s the word on the street. Sources are reporting that ‘Black and Yellow’ rapper Wiz Khalifa has proposed to the model (and Kanye West ex) and that the two plan to marry this summer. The rapper recently told MTV News that he had introduced Rose to his mother, with whom she hit it off. “They actually really, really dig each other,” Khalifa said of the meeting. “Amber is a sweetheart, and my mom, everybody who meets her loves her anyway.” A source close to the couple says, “Wiz is going on tour for the next month. But he told her when he gets back, he’s going to marry her. And he was serious — he asked her to start making plans.” Khalifa hasn’t confirmed the proposal yet, although he has made his feelings for Rose clear: “She’s a great girl, she’s like one of the best girls in the world. We here at Mr. Skin have no prejudice against the Razzie Awards- in fact, Showgirls (1995) is a certified gold pop toppin’ classic here at Skin Central. So it is with heads held high that we offer our one-handed salute to Sandra Bullock , who in 2010 made history by becoming the first actress to with both an Academy Award (for the Blind Side ) and a Razzie Award (for All About Steve ) in the same year. Sandra’s good-girl image and her reluctance to bare the B’s onscreen is sort of a chicken-or-the-egg scenario, except slightly less runny. Sandy is a tease in many of her roles, coming up to the edge of the nudity canyon but never taking a full dive in. A case in point is the Proposal (2009) , where she strips to the buff for a kooky shower scene with Ryan Reynolds , but strategically covers her candy throughout. You’re killing us, Sandy! How can you cover a story about Uncle Sam's November Monthly Treasury Statement and the proposed Obama-GOP compromise on taxes and unemployment benefits without using the words “spending,” “receipts,” any form of “collect,” or “unemployment”? It's a neat trick, but the Associated Press's Martin Crutsinger pulled it off in his Friday afternoon dispatch shortly after the government report's release. Instead of communicating apparently boring facts, Crutsinger concentrated his fire on the “tax-cut agreement” with a supposed “cost (of) $855 billion over two years” worked out by President Obama and Congressional Republicans. Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand Offered My Mother’s Curse

A year after this idea was originally floated out into the ether, it seems that Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand have officially been offered roles in My Mother’s Curse . The Dan Fogelman-scripted film will be directed by The Proposal ‘s Anne Fletcher and casts Rogen and Streisand as mother and son on a road trip across the country. Last summer, Rogen called the film “one of the many projects [he] may or may not do in the next fifteen years,” so expect to see it sometime before 2024. [ The Playlist ]

Megan Fox Engaged To Brian Austin Green, Rep Confirms

By Jocelyn Vena Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox Photo: Steve Granitz/ Getty Images It seems that Brian Austin Green put a ring on it: A rep for Megan Fox confirmed to MTV News on Wednesday (June 16) that the “Jonah Hex” actress is officially engaged to the former “90210” star. The couple were engaged once before but called it off in February of last year. The news of their engagement was first reported Wednesday by UsMagazine.com . The magazine reported that Green popped the question on June 1 while the pair was vacationing in Hawaii, but a source said that in the excitement of the proposal, the two lost the ring. According to the source, the 2-carat ring, which the pair chose together, is reportedly still missing. “I saw her jumping up and down,” a witness said about the proposal, which reportedly took place at the Four Seasons Hualalai hotel in Hawaii. “Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand.” Another eyewitness added, “Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it. No one found it.” Fox and Green (the latter of whom has a son, Kassius Lijah, from a previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil), first began dating in 2004, despite a 12-year age difference. Fox has been vocal about her preference for older men . “Boys in their 20s are a waste of time,” she explained to Elle. “They have nothing to offer conversationally. They’re immature. I feel like I have a better shot with someone in his 30s.” In the same interview, Fox added that it was Green’s maturity that makes him attractive to her. “He’s a man. He has an ego. He went through [fame] already and he doesn’t want it back — it was horrible,” Fox said. “So he has sympathy.
