Roseanne Barr spent her Thanksgiving this year backtracking from a joke most Twitter followers believe went way too far. Late Wednesday night, the comedian posted a photo of her swollen/ravaged face online, quipping that she just “got in a tussle w bill cosby” and “U shoyld see that mfer.” The former sitcom star later deleted the picture and the caption and explained that the following image was due to a “chemical peel” she got to “look more sexier.” Barr, of course, was originally joking about the ongoing Bill Cosby scandal in which that legendary actor finds himself at the center of numerous sexual assault allegations. Multiple women have come forward over the past few weeks and accused Cosby of drugging them and raping them, with most alleged cases having taken place in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Most recently, celebrities such as Michelle Hurd and Janice Dickinson have joined the long list of accusers. Cosby has remained awkwardly mum on the issue (below), while his attorney has released a handful of statement that deny all allegations made against his client. Bill Cosby Shoots Down Sexual Assault Questions However, it’s clear where Barr stands on the controversy. “I don’t wanna get sued or have [Cosby] send anyone to beat me up, but I think it’s obvious: 13 to 1,” Barr told The New York Daily News in regard to the number of women who have come forward against Cosby. FSU Shooter Gunned Down By Campus Police Via NYPost Florida State University police fatally shot a gunman at the campus library early Thursday in a shooting that left three students wounded as hundreds studying inside the library fled or took cover in panic. Officers confronted the gunman and ordered him to drop his weapon, but he fired one shot at them and they unleashed a volley of shots, Tallahassee Police spokesman Dave Northway said. While police did not say if the wounded were shot by the gunman, senior Sarah Evans from Miami said she was inside the library and heard a male student say he had been shot. When she looked at him, he was on the ground with blood spreading on his pants leg. Northway said authorities did not believe there were any other threats related to the incident. Shortly after 4 a.m., a loud tone sounded across the campus followed by an announcement that the campus was “all clear.” At the same time, authorities allowed hundreds of students who had been shepherded in a classroom building next to Strozier Library, a multistory building in the center of the Tallahassee campus, to return to their homes. Hours after the shooting, detectives could be seen inspecting the body of the suspected gunman, who was lying face down at the top of an access ramp just outside the library. We’ve posted reports about Amanda talking to inanimate objects or herself over the past few months, but this is our first direct insight into her mind. It’s not a pretty place, which goes without saying. Bynes’ ramblings show just how far she has gone off the rails, and family and friends actually wanted TMZ to post these to prove she needs help. Amanda casually but seriously talks of murdering her dad, slitting her mom’s wrists, burning her house down and leaving her father’s body in a ditch. Then she attacks a friend in the second rant, telling him, “You’re so gay it hurts my feelings” at the end of more than a minute of nonsensical ramblings. Amanda Bynes to Friend: You’re So GAY Will this be a wake-up call for professionals to intervene? Even if it is, do they have legal standing to do so, given that Amanda was let go once before, not only after being placed in a mental facility due to similar concerns? It’s all far from certain, and extremely sad at this point. We can all agree it’s clear that was a huge mistake. It should never have happened, and her actions in recent weeks prove it. Last week, Amanda Bynes was released a psychiatric care facility. Since then, she’s engaged in a wide array of troubling behavior, much of it on Twitter, where the troubled actress regularly speaks her mind to her 3.5 million followers. Amanda was particularly active on the site this past weekend, beginning on Friday night, when she shared a picture of her newly-dyed purple hair. In most cases, a change in hair color may seem harmless, but Amanda first showed a fondness for lurid locks during her last public meltdown in 2013. As for Amanda’s most recent tweets – she certainly seems to mean well, but her tirades often reflect her unstable emotional state. The following were posted by Amanda in the past 24 hours: “It goes against my religion to follow an ugly person.” “I’m so rude…If you don’t like someone you have every right to be rude to them.” “Adolf Hitler tricked the Germans into believing that Jews were less than the Germans and that they should be segregated tnd then killed…But Germans who feel that Adolf Hitler was incorrect aren’t guilty in my book.” “Feel my pain.” That last one was posted several times and seems to be something of a personal mantra for Bynes. Amanda’s unusual twitter presence has gotten her in trouble in the past, most recently when she accused her father of sexual assault , and then quickly retracted the allegation.
