The user Dous Makòs, said Beyoncé should go, “Nowhere, because there’s no progress.” The embassy did not answer a query about its post and whether Beyoncé had taken up any recommendations. She visited Haiti over the weekend with Valerie Amos, the United Nations humanitarian affairs chief, but the full itinerary was not disclosed. In a Tweet on Monday afternoon, the U.N. agency said the two had visited patients at a pediatric hospital and earthquake survivors. American officials have struggled to convince people that progress is being made after a quake that took 300,000 lives and left millions without homes.
