Researchers begun tracing Bieber’s family lineage about a year ago by paging through teen celebrity gossip magazines to find biographical tidbits from the pop star. “The great thing about family history is that you never know what you’re going to find,” said Ancestry’s Michelle Ercanback. “It was a very pleasant surprise.” Bieber, Gosling and Lavigne share common relatives Mathurin Roy and Marguerite Bire, born in France in the early 1600s. They later moved to Quebec. JB and Celine are 10th cousins three times removed because they’re linked to French couple Jacques Vezina and Marie Boisdon, also from the 1600s. They moved to Quebec, where they died in 1687. Ercanback said she didn’t know if these celebrity links are “sufficient to point to the existence of a superstar gene.” Either way, it’s pretty cool.

The book, which began as “Twilight” fan fiction, describes Ana as “a pale, brown haired girl with blue eyes too big for her face.” Fans are looking for someone that not only represents her physically, but can also balance her purity with her newfound sensual side. “The trickiest part of all may be staying true to the book and finding an actress who can convey youth and innocence, as well as the depth of experience necessary to grow with the character,” Lisa Parker from Fiftyshadesfilm.com told MTV News. “We’re looking forward to someone submitting (pun intended) their name for consideration of the pivotal role of Ana. On Wednesday, the group announced that it was cancelling a string of live dates this month due to a medical emergency involving drummer Travis Barker. “Blink-182’s drummer, Travis Barker, required an urgent tonsillectomy with a recovery period expected to extend beyond the scheduled tour dates,” read a note on their official site . “The band apologizes for any inconvenience as a result of these cancellations and thanks their fans for their ongoing support. ” Though two upcoming dates at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma, have been rescheduled for September 13 and 14, the other six dates on their itinerary will not be rescheduled. Newly-married Kate Middleton and Prince William were greeted by huge crowds – and questions about their future family – in Canada this weekend. While touring Quebec City, Kate was presented with a bouquet by a young admirer named Raffaela, 2, who was with her father David Cheater, 28. Like many others, Cheater waited hours with his daughter to see the royal couple, who attended a ceremony honoring Canada’s Royal 22nd Regiment. “Kate said to me, ‘What a beautiful daughter you have,'” he said after The Duchess laid her hand on the youngster’s head and smiled at the little girl. He added: “When I said to her I wished her and William well with starting their own family, she said, ‘Yes, I hope to.'” So when will Kate get pregnant ?
