Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 14 Episode 13 Recap: Mime Over Matter

Were the family even bothering about the continued drama with Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna? That was a hot topic on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 14 Episode 13 as they opened up about their thoughts on the troublesome couple.  Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian discussed the whole Rob and Chyna legal drama.  Watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 14 Episode 14 Online Khloe said that the positive to the drama was that “there’s no way Rob and Chyna could get back together,” but “the negative is all of this other [expletive] right now.” Kim was critical of Rob for posting the nudes of Blac Chyna online.  “The negative is that as Rob having sisters, he should just know better,” she said. “He should have just like controlled himself.” “Rob and Chyna have officially broken up, but they obviously still have to communicate for the custody of Dream,” Khloe began in a confessional. “They’re still having a hard time getting along. The legal battle that has been going on between the two of them has been super frustrating.” “I feel like this is escalating to a place that none of us could have ever imagined.” Khloe then told Kim, “He’s made out to be this bad guy when she’s taunting him… You don’t [expletive] with someone’s heart and emotions.” Khloe and Kourtney then got Rob on the phone to get an update on what was happening with Chyna with regards to the custody situation with Dream.  He did admit that he could take Dream to their houses for a visit, but that was about it.  “I know this is super hard for Rob because he was so in love with [Chyna] and this is not how he thought the relationship was going to end,” said Khloe in a confessional.  Well, Rob did leak the nudes, so maybe he should have thought about that before worrying about a custody battle.  Khloe knew the situation was getting to her mother, so she chatted with her about it.  “There’s just a lot going on with Rob and the whole custody thing,” said the family matriarch. “It’s just wild. It’s stressful because I’m trying to help him navigate this.” “You can’t let it consume you. You’ve got to just smile and enjoy life,” Khloe said to her mother. Kris decided it was time to leave the conversation because it was all getting too much.  To cheer Kris up, Khloe thought pranking her would be the best foot forward. Khloe hired a mime, and he showed up at the house to handcuff himself to her.  “I know Khloe’s wants me to lighten up, and I get what she’s trying to do, but I don’t think she understands how packed my day is,” Kris said to the camera.  The mime annoyed Kris because he was doing silly stuff while he was out with. Kris decided it was time to part ways with the mime and her assistant cut her free.  “By the end of the day, I got to say it was really fun. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life,” Kris admitted.  In the end, Kris managed to return the favor by showing at Khloe’s house dressed as a mime.  “Mom, this is really your look! I think you should do this all the time,” Khloe said to her mother before turning to a konfessional to reveal her thoughts on her mother’s new look.  “I am so happy to see my mom as this light, fun Kris Jenner. This is the Kris Jenner that I know, so the next time things get crazy, pull out that face paint and your mime costume. You’re good to go.” Meanwhile, Kourtney revealed that she was traveling to Egypt with Younes Bendjima, but she felt guilty about leaving her kids behind.  “I’m proud that you’re doing something for yourself,” said Khloe who wanted her sister to have fun. “There was a time when I wouldn’t even sleep out for one night,” Kourtney responded before saying that she wanted to keep her relationship separate from her kids.  What did you think of all the drama? Dolores O’Riordan Dies; Cranberries Singer Was 46

Dolores O’Riordan, lead singer of the popular Irish rock band the Cranberries, has passed away at the age of 46. Reps for O’ Riordan confirmed the news of her death just moments ago. O’Riordan’s passing has been described as “sudden,” and the cause of death is currently unknown to the public. The singer was reportedly in London for a recording session and was rushed to a local hospital, where medical staff were unable to resuscitate her. Known for her distinctive mezzo-soprano voice, O’Riordan replaced the Cranberries original lead singer after a successful audition in 1990. During her time as frontwoman, the band enjoyed tremendous commercial success and rose to international fame. O’Riordan and her bandmates recorded 8 top-20 hits, including such perennially popular tunes as “Linger,” “Zombie,” and “Dreams.” The band split up in 2003 but reunited after a several-year hiatus, during which O’Riordan recorded two solo albums. O’Riordan’s frequently-changing style made her a ’90s style icon, and the Cranberries were often name-checked in the pop culture of the time, including a memorable mention in the comedy classic Clueless . In recent years, the singer made tabloid headlines several times as a result of her tumultuous personal life. In 2014, O’Riordan was arrested for assaulting a stewardess and a police officer aboard an Aer Lingus flight to New York. That same year, she split from her husband after 20 years of marriage. In 2017, the Cranberries released an acoustic album and embarked on an intercontinental tour that was cut short due to O’Riordan’s persistent back problems. While her band’s popularity peaked in the 1990s, O’Riordan remained an in-demand performer and a popular figure in Ireland until her death. She was invited to perform at the Vatican on several occasions, and in 2006, she was listed as one of the ten richest women in Ireland. Loving tributes from friends and fans made O’Riordan a top trending topic on Twitter within minutes of when news of her death went public. She is survived by two children. Our thoughts go out to O’Riordan’s family during this difficult time.

Jerry Van Dyke Dies; Emmy-Nominated Actor Was 86

Jerry Van Dyke, a veteran actor and the younger brother of iconic comedian Dick Van Dyke, died on Friday afternoon at his ranch in Arkansas. He was 86 years old. According to Jerry’s wife, per TMZ, the actor passed away with her by his side.  The exact cause of death is unknown at this time, but the couple had been in a car accident two years ago and Van Dyke’s health had sadly gone downhill ever since. A native of Danville, Illinois, Van Dyke got his start on television by making appearances on The Dick Van Dyke Show, the beloved sitcom that starred his real-life older sibling. He also made appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show and The Judy Garland Show early on in his career. Prior to dedicating his professional life to acting, Jerry pursued stand-up comedy as a young man and performed at military bases around the globe. Van Dyke has a very long and impressive resume, but he’s likely best known for his role as Assistant Coach Luther Horatio Van Dam on the TV sitcom Coach, which earned him four Emmy Award nominations. The series ran from 1989 to 1997. It was anchored by Craig T. Nelson. Coach centered on the fictional Minnesota State University Screaming Eagles and it often featured guest appearances by professional football figures such as Troy Aikman, Dick Butkus and Jerry Jones, as well as actors like Lucy Liu, Drew Carey and Mary Hart. Van Dyke’s Luther was an assistant coach who was known for his bumbling ways and occasional moments of pathos. This is a photo of him from the show: His final small screen appearance took place on ABC’s hit show The Middle in 2015. Well aware of his brother’s enormous fame, Jerry said the following to USA Today back in the 1990s: “I was always known as Dick Van Dyke’s brother and the guy that did My Mother the Car. Now people know me that never knew me before, that don’t even know Dick. That’s really a thrill.” He maintained this kind of sense of humor throughout his career. “If I had it all to do over again, I definitely would have turned things down,” he told The Associated Press in 1994, adding: “Almost everything I did!”  And then there was this, to The Toronto Star that same year: “I’m getting sick of Dick riding on my coattails. I just can’t prop up his career forever.” Jerry Van Dyke is survived by two kids and his wife. May he rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam

Born Rose Marie Mazetta on August 15, 1923, the multi-talented star began acting and singing at age three, performing on stage at New York’s Mecca Theater. She was dubbed “Baby Rose Marie the Child Wonder” and was often heard on the NBC Radio Network. In the 1930s, Marie toured in vaudeville; and in the 1940s, she performed in nightclubs and theaters, even becoming a co-headliner on opening night of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. Later in life, Marie gained new fans as a frequent celebrity on Hollywood Squares. How frequent? Marie appeared on 629 episodes of the game show! She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2001. All in all, Marie’s amazing career spanned nine decades and was chronicled in the documentary “Wait for Your Laugh,” which was released earlier this year. Tweeted Carl Reiner, who created The Dick Van Dyke Show, upon learning of Rose’s passing: I was so sad to learn of the passing of Rosemarie. There’s never been a more engaging & multi-talented performer. In a span of 90 years, since she was four, dear Rosie performed on radio, in vaudeville, night clubs, films, TV, & Vegas & always had audiences clamoring for “more!!” May she rest in peace.
