Jesus Take The Wheel: Pregnant Aspiring Model Killed By Freight Train During Railroad Photo Shoot

Aspiring Texas Model And Soon-To-Be Bride Killed By Freight Train Just…wow. 19-year-old Fredzania Thompson was an aspiring model, an expectant mother and a soon-to-be bride. Sadly she will not be able to see any of those dreams come to fruition as a result of a tragic and heartbreaking train accident. According to The Eagle , Fredzania was killed on Friday while standing in between two railroad tracks during a photo shoot. She was struck by a freight train. Witnesses told investigators she was standing where two train tracks meet. Police said one set of tracks belonged to BNSF and the other to Union Pacific. Thomson was standing between the tracks and watching for an oncoming train from BNSF with her back turned toward an oncoming Union Pacific train. Witnesses said she tried to cross the Union Pacific tracks to avoid the BNSF train and was hit by the Union Pacific train. She died en route to a local hospital. Fredzania would have been 20-years-old on this past Monday and just two weeks ago she informed her 25-year-old fiance of her pregnancy: “She said, ‘You’re going to be a dad again,’” he said. Thompson deeply loved Chatman’s 7-year-old son, who would have become her stepson. She seemed to be a motherly figure to him, Chatman said, and the boy has been troubled by her death. “He woke up crying this morning,” Chatman said quietly. “He thought [her death] was a dream.” Can’t even imagine the kind of pain her family and friends are feeling right now. Our thoughts are with them all. Image via Facebook

Florida Crazies: Sweaty Speeding Man Brags To Cops About How Great His Weed And X Pills Are

Florida Man Arrested For Speeding And Possession of Marijuana And Ecstasy Not only was Tyler Doidge, 21, speeding and transporting drugs —he was also high AF off of them… Monroe County Police Sheriff, Matthew Cory, pulled Tyler over for driving more than twice the speed limit and became very suspicious upon noticing the beads of sweat on Doidge’s forehead. Via FLKeysNews: “This is not normal behavior since the outside temperature [was] near 75 degrees. I have a protective vest and long pants on and I was not sweating,” Cory wrote. “Doidge was wearing a tank top and shorts. On the same evening I conducted three other traffic stops and none of those drivers appeared to be sweating.” A sweaty forehead and the aroma of weed lead the police to search Doidge’s 2008 Buick Lacrosse where they found 3 ounces of marijuana and 318 ecstasy pills with happy faces stamped on them. Good ole Tyler, who was obviously nervous and high, told police he was delivering the drugs to some friends and they, in turn, were providing him with a free vacation. He also admitted that he had smoked some of the goods along the way. When asked how the tweeds measured up on a scale of 1 to 10, he gladly responded that they were an “8” and worth $200 per ounce. SMH after the speeding ticket and “self-snitch” fest, Tyler Doige landed himself a few felonies including possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of 10 grams or more of phenethylamines (ecstasy), and use of paraphernalia to transport drugs. He is being held without bond. Dumbass! BigStockPhoto

Robert Osborne Dies: Beloved Turner Classic Movies Host Was 84

You may not recognize the name Robert Osborne, but if you’re a fan of the Turner Classic Movies network, you almost certainly recognize his face. For 23 years, Osborn was the face of TCM, the number one cable destination for lovers of Old Hollywood and budding young filmmakers alike. A respected film historian and preservationist, Osborne was hand-selected by Ted Turner when the network launched in 1994. He was on the air to introduce the network’s very first film, Gone With the Wind, on April 14, 1994. “Robert was embraced by devoted fans who saw him as a trusted expert and friend,” TCM general manager Jennifer Dorian said in a statement released moments ago. “His calming presence, gentlemanly style, encyclopedia knowledge of film history, fervent support of film preservation and highly personal interviewing style all combined to make him a truly world-class host.” Dorian added: “Robert’s contributions were fundamental in shaping TCM into what it is today, and we owe him a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.” In addition to his time at TCM, Osborne worked as a columnist for The Hollywood Reporter for several decades. His “Rambling Reporter” column ran in the magazine from 1983 to 2009 and was considered a must-read amongst industry insiders. Tributes to Osborne began pouring in on social media within minutes of the announcement of this death, thus making the beloved TV icon a worldwide trending topic within minutes: “Very sad to hear about Robert Osborne passing. I programmed on TCM with him in 2015 & it was a treat. He couldn’t have been more charming,” tweeted filmmaker Edgar Wright. “Robert Osborne was a class act, a true gentleman & his historical nuggets as TCM host made watching those great old movies even better. RIP,” wrote Larry King. “All of us are better for having known him – I know I am,” said Osborne’s longtime co-star Ben Mankiwiecz. “So saddened by the death of Robert Osborne of @tcm. He helped spark my interest in classic films. He was a special man,” tweeted Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak. One Twitter user suggested perhaps the best method of paying tribute to a man whose life was so fully devoted to the cinema: “I think the best way to honor the life of Robert Osborne is to watch as many classic films as possible. Going to start right now. ” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam

Bill Paxton: Cause of Death Revealed

The official cause of Bill Paxton’s death has been revealed following the 61-year-old acting great’s tragic passing two weekends ago. Paxton died February 25 at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, as confirmed by his family. Now we know the reasons why. According to the death certificate, obtained by TMZ, his death triggered by an aneurysm that required surgery which resulted in a stroke.  Paxton had just undergone valve replacement surgery to correct an aortic aneurysm problem, and complications arose from the operation. Eleven days later, he suffered the fatal stroke.  The death certificate states that Bill had the surgery on February 14  and died on February 25, which is consistent with his family’s statement. “It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery,” the family said then.  Having left this world far too soon, he leaves behind a legacy in film and TV that ranks him among the all-time greats in his profession. “Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable,” the statement continued. His passion for the arts was matched by fans’ passion for his work in them, as evidenced by his impressive, almost underrated resume. Tombstone, Apollo 13 , and A Simple Plan are just a few of Bill’s movie roles that have enjoyed immense popularity throughout the years. Paxton was also a highly regarded TV actor, especially within the last decade, when he starred on HBO’s polygamy drama Big Love . On top of five seasons headlining that series, Paxton was also nominated an Emmy Award for 2012’s The Hatfields and the McCoys . He was starring in CBS’ Training Day at the time of his death. The native Texan’s first brush with fame was entirely accidental; Bill witnessed the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. A photo of an eight-year-old Bill being lifted onto his dad’s shoulders still hangs in a museum commemorating the life and death of JFK. As an aspiring actor, he played a number of low-budget, bit film roles upon moving to Hollywood before landing his big break in a 1980s classic. Bill met a young director named James Cameron on the set of The Terminator , and a part in that film is what allowed his career to take off. Their relationship grew, and Paxton went on to star in some of Cameron’s best-known films, including the box office behemoth Titanic . No film had made nearly as much money as the 1997 love story – a classic two decades later and still among the highest-grossing ever. View Slideshow: Bill Paxton: Celebrities React to His Shocking Death In addition to his link to the JFK assassination, another little known piece of Paxton trivia can be attributed to his body of work as an actor: He is one of only two people to be confronted by a Terminator ( The Terminator ), a Xenomorph ( Aliens ), and a Predator ( Predator 2 ). That’s pretty awesome, and just part of the reason so many tributes to Paxton from family, friends, and fans began pouring upon his death. A testament to the impact of his life, he was mourned the world over, by those who knew him personally and those who knew his work. Paxton is survived by a wife and two children. Our condolences go out to them and to his family members, friends and fans the world over. R.I.P. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam

Antonia Gorga Dies; Mother of Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga Was 66

A beloved member of the Housewives family has passed away. Antonia Gorga, the mother of The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga, has died at the age of 66. It is not immediately clear what the cause of Antonia’s death was. The elder Gorga, who made several appearances on her kids’ Bravo show, passed away earlier this weekend , according to People . Both siblings were close with their mother through the years. Often sharing moments they spent together on social media, the most recent was a December 19 post by Teresa Giudice to Instagram. You can see that image of mother and daughter above. “Mommy I love you so much,” Teresa captioned the sweet photo of herself and her mother, both smiling bright and looking truly happy. The 44-year-old controversy magnet clearly adored the matriarch of her family, adding the hashtag “#daughtersloveforhermom.” Her younger brother Joe and his wife Melissa Gorga, both 37, had previously honored the Gorga matriarch in the most eternal fashion:  Their 12-year-old daughter is named after her. Likely still in mourning and taking care of her affairs, neither Giudice nor the Gorgas have addressed Antonia’s death on social media. Giudice’s last social media was on Instagram March 1, where she showed off her work with the NephCure Kidney International Foundation. Joe’s last update was an Instagram shout-out to his wife on Valentine’s Day, while Melissa posted a selfie along with her son yesterday. Those fans who watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online don’t need to be reminded that their lives have been full of drama. Lately, though, things have been relatively quiet. The siblings recently united for a Christmas Eve celebration, the first Teresa has hosted had at home since her husband went to jail. Teresa Giudice’s husband of 17 years, Joe, is serving out a 41-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud in federal prison in Fort Dix, N.J. “Merry Christmas Eve with the family,” she gushed in her caption of a photo of the couple’s four daughters, along with her little brother’s kids. Teresa and Joe share Gia, 16, Gabriella, 12, Milania, 11, and Audriana, 7; Melissa and Joe are parents to Antonia, Gino, 8 and Joey, 5.  View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam Our condolences to the family this weekend. No matter what they’ve been through, or what you think of some of their life choices, family has been at the center of all that they do. Losing a loved one is a deeply painful experience for anyone, obviously, and especially for such a tight-knit family unit like the Gorgas.  Our thoughts are with them at this time.
