Wow… Rugby Team Commemorates Anniversary Of Horrific Plane Crash That Forced Them Into Cannibalism An International Rugby team who survived a horrific plane crash years ago recently reunited on the anniversary of the crash to recount their disturbing story of 72-day survival without food. via News One Surviving members of an Uruguayan rugby team have played a match postponed four decades ago when their plane crashed in the Andes, stranding them for 72 days in the cordillera and forcing them to eat human flesh to stay alive. During the anniversary ceremony, military jets flew over the field, where parachutists draped in Chilean and Uruguayan flags landed. In a corner, survivors wept when officials unveiled a commemorative frame with pictures of those who died in the snowy peaks. “The conditions were more horrifying than you can ever imagine. To live at 4,000 meters without any food,” said survivor Eduardo Strauch, 65. “The only reason why we’re here alive today is because we had the goal of returning home … (Our loved ones) gave us life. They made the sacrifice for others.” The Uruguayan air force plane that carried the team crashed in a mountain pass in October 1972 while en route from Montevideo to Santiago. Of the 45 passengers aboard, 16 survived by feeding on dead family members and friends preserved in the snow. “I think the greatest sadness I felt in my life was when I had to eat a dead body,” said Roberto Canessa, 59, who was a teenage medical student at the time of the crash. “I would ask myself: Is it worth doing this? And it was because it was in order to live and preserve life, which is exactly what I would have liked for myself if it had been my body that lay on the floor,” he said. Lil Wayne Says Supports Drake And Aaliyah Project It turns out that not everyone is ishtting on Drake’s super-stan collabo steez that’s been the talk of the music industry since the YMCMB rapper announced his plans to co-produce a “new” Aaliyah album. Young Money bossman Lil Wayne says he supports his artists’ Aaliyah ambitions and thinks the album will be “awesome.” via NY Daily News : Lil Wayne thinks the late Aaliyah’s music is better than a lot of music out today — and he’s confident that Drake’s plan to produce unreleased Aaliyah songs will be an “awesome collaboration.” Missy Elliott and Timbaland, who produced most of Aaliyah’s music, are not involved, and DMX, who co-starred with Aaliyah in the movie “Romeo Must Die” and recorded a song with her, has been critical of the project. Lil Wayne said he hasn’t heard any negative feedback, and added when he first heard that his Young Money protégé was a part of the project, his first thought was: “Good move.” “Everybody knows what Aaliyah did and done for music and culture, period, and it’s always good to do that, for not only for people like that, just for her fans — you know what I mean?” he said in a recent interview. “Drake’s a very thoughtful person. Everyone knows that. It’s an awesome collaboration. Her music is still awesome. It’s still better than a lot of music out right now,” he said. He also had this to say in regards to staying on top of his game in his own music: “I’ve said everything in every situation in every way, so it’s almost interesting to go into the studio and find new things to talk about and new ways to talk about them and hear it back and say, ‘Wow, you figured it out again,”’ he said. A terrible story… 3-Week-Old Baby Mauled To Death By Pitbull In an extremely sad story out of Detroit, a 3-week-old baby was fatally attacked by a family pitbull while sitting in her car seat that was put on the floor. via Detroit Free Press : A 3-week-old girl was killed by a pit bull Thursday after her mother left her in a car seat on the floor inside a house on Detroit’s west side, police said. Sgt. Eren Stephens said the newborn’s mother went to a home and took the infant inside with her. The mother put the girl, still strapped into the seat, on the floor, not knowing there was a dog loose in the house. The mother, Stephens said, stepped away from the infant for a moment, but when she returned the pit bull was mauling the girl. The baby was taken to a hospital, but she died of her injuries. Police did not release the name of the girl or her 24-year-old mother. The dog was removed from the home Thursday night and taken to an animal control facility. The investigation has been turned over to the homicide division. Stephens said investigators will submit their reports to prosecutors, who will then decide whether to file any criminal charges. “It seems like maybe just a tragic accident,” Stephens said. What’s done in the dark will always come to light. We knew from jump that there was plenty of shady dealings goings on around the MURDER of Pace football star Danroy Henry who was shot to death by a Mt. Pleasant police officer two years ago, but now the lid is being blown off the whole situation. Ronald Beckley, another officer on the scene recently participated in a series of depositions as part of the civil case against the city of Mt. Pleasant. During those depositions he confirmed that Aaron Hess, the officer who fired the shots was, in his opinion, the aggressor… So much so that he actually fired his own weapon and shot him! This is completely different from earlier “official Police” versions of events. The original story was that DJ Henry was leaving a parking lot and struck a Officer Aaron Hess in the knee causing him to fly on the hood of the car and he opened fire to save himself. Part of the original story was also that Officer Ronald Beckley fired into the car to save Aaron Hess. It was later announced that Aaron Hess had to have surgery on his knee due to blunt force caused by DJ’s vehicle. We spent much of the past two days reading the lengthy depositions that have been posted on the website of Michael Sussman, Esq, the lawyer representing the Henry family. You can find them HERE , but we will summarize what we found and include some screencaps: In a series of depositions conducted last week, the second officer involved in the shooting, Officer Ronald Beckley, openly admits to causing the knee injury to Aaron Hess by shooting Aaron Hess. Officer Ronald Beckley shot Aaron Hess, realizing Aaron Hess was the aggressor and that he was about to cause unnecessary harm to DJ Henry! It was revealed by Officer Ronald Beckley during his deposition that he shot at Aaron Hess out of concern for DJ because he didn’t initially recognize Officer Hess as a police officer and felt that he was the aggressor in the situation by pulling his weapon and firing into the car DJ was driving. Beckley then confirmed that he hadn’t seen the official accounts that were supposed to be based on his statements until just weeks prior to his deposition. Very troublesome since the Westchester DA presented these falsified documents to a Grand Jury and Officer Aaron Hess and Ronald Beckley admit that they were never even questioned by the DA herself. Based on Beckley’s deposition, Police Lieutenant Brian Fanelli also falsified documents of Ronald Beckley’s original statement to make it appear that he shot into the car because he was in fear of his life. Fanelli also appears to have lied to Beckley by saying his shots didn’t hit Hess and that he didn’t know how he made it out of the situation alive. Even more shady, in his deposition Beckley revealed the Police Chief REFUSED to speak to him about what he witnessed at all, and recommended he find a lawyer to represent him. The public has been fed a pack of lies for the past two years as part of a police cover up to keep Officer Hess for being punished for his aggressive actions. We’re talking about an all American, college honor student who was an athlete and was truly murdered the night of his homecoming game. It’s crazy how many people would go out of the way to protect a crooked cop. Sadly, Beckley, a 30-year veteran of the force retired immediately after the incident and those in power have done everything they could to prevent him from revealing the truth. But it is good to know there are good cops out there who are capable of doing their job, even if it did take two years for him to break down and tell the truth. The sickest part of all of this is that the city of Mount Pleasant awarded Hess Officer of the Year knowing this was all a lie. Talk about an intentional slap in the face to DJ’s family! We hope they will find some measure of justice finally now that the truth is finally coming out.

Folks have been speculating for some time now as to why they parted ways…but Diddy’s set the record straight and put the rumors of stealing to rest. This story still has so many unanswered questions… Almost two months after O.J. Murdock passed away, the Hillsborough County (Fla.) medical examiner’s office has officially ruled the cause of death a suicide. The former Tennessee Titans wide receiver died on July 30th. Interim Medical Examiner, Dr. Mary K. Mainland, signed off on the autopsy report last Friday. According to Sports Illustrated , O.J.’s family plans to have further investigations into the cause of death… What remains unclear is what effect, if any, football played in the July 30 tragedy. Murdock was the fifth former NFL player in the last two years to take his own life and the fourth this year — following Kurt Crain (April 10), Ray Easterling (April 19), Junior Seau (May 2) — and his family has consented to his brain tissue being examined by Boston University researchers studying the effects of chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative disease brought on by multiple concussions. While his family awaits the findings from that study, his death remains a puzzling tragedy for them, his friends, teammates and former coaches. By the accounts of those people who knew him best, Murdock was a happy young soul with a 500-watt smile and fervor to restart his NFL career with the Titans after missing his rookie season last year with a torn Achilles tendon. “When you met O.J., you fell in love with him. He was a humble young man who just had this great gleam in his eye,” said Hadley Engelhard, his agent. “He just had a wonderful personality,” said Harry Hubbard, who was Murdock’s head football coach at Middleton High in Tampa. “He had a great smile.
