Talk about being scarred for life… 3-Year-Old Boy Accidentally Kills His Father Playing With Loaded Pistol An Indiana dad was accidentally shot to death by his 3-year-old son after the little boy got his hands on the loaded weapon as the family sat watching television, police said. “We have no reason to believe there’s any foul play involved,” Indiana State Police Sgt. Jerry Goodin told WMBF-TV. “We think is purely a tragic accident that could have been avoided.” Michael Bayless, 33, was blasted with a single shot from his own handgun as he sat with his wife and their four kids inside their Salem, Ind., home, police said. The rest of the family watched in horror as the 3-year-old squeezed the trigger and mortally wounded his dad. Bayless was dead at the house when cops arrived. “It was an accident that could have been prevented if the handgun had been out of the reach of a 3-year-old child,” Goodin told the television station. “Unfortunately, it didn’t happen that way.” A family friend said Bayless was warned about keeping his handgun in a safe place prior to the fatal gunshot. “He did have a gun with him at all times, but it was unloaded,” friend Charlene Taylor told WLKY-TV. “It does not make any sense to me at all that it would have been loaded.” Parents, keep the damn guns away from your kids! Why the hell would the gun be loaded in the house while the family is watching TV anyway??? And why the hell didn’t someone grab the boy (or the gun) as soon as the boy went near it?!!?! A man with an American flag painted over his entire face was arrested for drug possession just hours after July 4 in a Florida nightclub, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “America, the beautiful.” Miami Beach police arrested Eric Oram Butkiewicz, 31, at the club LIV in the Fontainebleau Hotel when security guards informed the authorities he was dealing drugs, Miami NewTimes reports. “I possibly have three Xanax bars in my possession,” he reportedly told the police. The officers subsequently found 13 Xanax pills in his shirt pocket. Butkiewicz was then booked with a felony possession. His arraignment is set for Aug. 3. SMH. Rivera appeared on Fox News on Friday to discuss Chicago’s rising murder rate. He claims that some of the city’s homicides occurred because victims wore “thug wear.” He went on to say, “I was right about the hoodie wasn’t I. I hate to brag but I got criticized by every pundit in America when I said Trayvon Martin would be alive but for the fact that he was wearing thug wear… he was was wearing the hoodie. This muhfugga GOTTA be off bath salt…smh A Washington Survivalist Says Plotting To Kill His Family Was “Exciting” A Washington man who killed his wife and daughter before taking his own life made a chilling video before the incident, saying planning for the murders had been “exciting.” In the video, released Thursday by the King County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Peter Keller said normal life had become too boring. He detailed his plans for a life a life of crime – robbing banks and hiding out in a remote, underground bunker he spent years building. “I’m getting to the point where just trying to live and pay bills and live as a civilian, go to work, it just freaks me out. It’s actually more comfortable for me to think about living out here robbing banks, pharmacies, just taking what I want for as long as I can.” Keller shot his wife, Lynnettee, 41, and daughter Kaylene, 18, in their beds in North Bend, east of Seattle, on April 22. He then torched the home in what police said was an unsuccessful attempt to destroy evidence. Keller then retreated to his underground bunker in Washington’s Cascade Mountains, where he fatally shot himself five days later as police and SWAT teams moved in. In the rambling and often disjointed 10 minute video, Keller – a survivalist who thought the end of the world was coming – said his planned life of crime would “be exciting.”. “It won’t be boring and I don’t have to worry about Lynnettee or Kaylene and everything will be taken care of. It’ll just be me.” After his death, a search of bunker turned up a large cache of weapons, ammunition, body armor, food and thousands of dollars in cash. The video was among the evidence taken from the underground hideout and it was released by the sheriff’s office Thursday after the department announced its three-month investigation was completed, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The video is “breathtaking in its evil,” said King County Sheriff Steve Strachan. He noted that Keller had been planning to kill his family for months – or even years – before the crime took place. Keller also planned ahead for his own death. “I do have my escape and that’s death,” he said with a laugh. “I can always shoot myself. A beautiful Texas teenager shot to death last month was no innocent victim but a criminal killed in a robbery gone wrong, police now say. Claudia Hidic, 17, was found dead near the back door of a man’s home in the Tanglewood neighborhood of Fort Worth on June 28, her body face down, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The back door had also been kicked in. Her death, of a gunshot wound to the head, was ruled a homicide. But while friends took to Facebook to mourn the loss of the stunning young woman, who would have been a senior at Trinity High School this fall, police revealed Hidic had put herself in the line of fire by organizing a robbery that ended in gunshots. A source close to the investigation told the Star-Telegram that Hidic was the mastermind behind the theft, directing accomplices Curtis Fortenberry and Terrance Crumley, both 21, to rob a location she specifically chose. The source, who spoke to the paper on condition of anonymity, said Hidic had been to the home before, where the threesome returned, at least one of them armed. They reportedly entered the house through the back door, where between five and six people were home. A neighbor told the paper he saw four women running from the scene after gunfire erupted. The man who found her body outside of his house told police he did know who Hidic was. By July 1, a police spokeswoman told the Star-Telegram the homeowner had stopped talking to investigators, though he was not a “person of interest in the case.” In a press release to local media outlets, police confirmed Hidic had been inside the home prior to the robbery, and said she and the two men “engaged in criminal activity after planning and coordinating a robbery … against the occupants inside,” KCEN-TV reported. Both Fortenberry and Crumley are now in police custody and have been charged with felony murder. They are being held on $100,000 bond. A South Carolina woman faced tragedy last June when a drunk driver killed her oldest son. But the still-grieving mother, Loretta Robinson, is now being billed for the various charges associated with the accident, including a $50 charge to clean her son’s blood off the road. Justin Walker, Robinson’s deceased son, was not found at fault for the accident. The accused driver, Anna Gonzalez, tearfully pleaded guilty in court last Tuesday, the Daily Mail reported. According to MSNBC, the undocumented woman had been living in the United States for 12 years, but never got a South Carolina driver’s license. Gonzalez was sentenced to 17 years in prison. Robinson was on hand in court to express her outrage at the bills she’s received since losing her son. “I had to pay to have the vehicle towed. I had to pay for the vehicle to be removed and to clean up the street from Justin’s blood,” Robinson said. According to WYFF, Robinson also paid to have the wrecked car stored for months in case there was a trial. The South Carolina State Office of Victims Assistance offers a combined total of up to $15,000 for medical, funeral, counseling and wage compensation for the families of victims of crime. According to NBC Greenville, Robinson received some money from the victim’s assistance office, but it did not cover the costs of cleanup or storage. There has been some recent controversy about the crime rate among undocumented immigrants in the United States. In March, the Scott Gardiner Act, a bill that would authorize the deportation of any undocumented immigrant convicted of drunk driving, was reintroduced to Congress by Representatives Sue Myrick and Mike McIntyre, News 14 Carolina reported. “We have to be able, as a country, to figure out a way with people here who are illegal and commit crimes,” Robinson told WYFF. June 25 is Michael Jackson’s death anniversary. The King of Pop died three years ago today at the age of 50 after suffering cardiac arrest at his home. The coroner ruled it a homicide, and Dr. Conrad Murray, who was over-medicating MJ to a dangerous degree, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter . Murray obviously did not mean to kill Jackson, but was nonetheless responsible for the fatal combination of sedatives that led to the singer’s demise. Serving a four-year sentence, and complaining that he is wasting away in jail amid horrid conditions, Murray has been behind bars since November. Michael may be gone, but three years later, his legacy lives on. In a way, MJ passing away shifted the focus back to his musical greatness and away from the personal problems and eccentricities that dominated news. Jackson’s mother, Katherine, has permanent custody of his offspring, all three of which have all gone on to become well-adjusted, normal children. Just what he would have wanted, and worked so hard to achieve. Musically, his death introduced Jackson to a new generation of fans and invigorated tens of millions of older ones. James “Jimmy Henchmen” Rosemond Indicted For Murder They called him Jimmy Henchman — the man with the Teflon reputation, tied for years to the feud that led to the murders of two legends of the hip-hop world. But on Friday, officials in Manhattan said the man, James Rosemond, was being charged with arranging the murder of an associate of the rapper 50 Cent. The news came less than three weeks after Mr. Rosemond was convicted of running a multimillion-dollar cocaine ring. In an indictment announced on Friday, Mr. Rosemond, 47, was charged with conspiring with five other men to kill the associate, Lowell Fletcher, in 2009. “This has not been a good month for Jimmy the Henchman,” Raymond W. Kelly, the New York police commissioner, said in a statement. He said the murder of Mr. Fletcher had been retaliation for an assault on Mr. Rosemond’s son. Messages left for Mr. Rosemond’s lawyer were not returned. Mr. Rosemond, who ran a management company, Czar Entertainment, is perhaps best known for accusations that have trailed him since the killings of the rap music luminaries Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace, better known as the Notorious B.I.G., in the mid-1990s. Mr. Rosemond has denied involvement in the bitter feud that led to their shootings. Preet Bharara, the United States attorney in Manhattan, said Mr. Rosemond and the five other defendants had “operated like a mini-gang, allegedly committing a revenge killing, and a host of drug and firearms offenses.” A seventh man was also charged with firearms and narcotics offenses but not murder. For those that are unaware of the circumstances surrounding Mr. Fletcher’s death… Mr. Fletcher was shot to death on the evening of Sept. 27, 2009, near Jerome and Mount Eden Avenues in the Mount Eden neighborhood of the Bronx. Mr. Rosemond and another man hired at least two of the defendants to kill Mr. Fletcher in exchange for drugs, according to the indictment in United States District Court in Manhattan.
