A Mother’s Rage: Grieving Afghan Woman Slaughters 25 Taliban In 7 Hours As Revenge For Her Son’s Murder

She’s the real army of one… Afghan Mother Kills 25 Taliban Members In Bloody Gunfight To Avenge Son’s Death Via DailyMail : A grieving Afghan mother took bloody revenge on the Taliban militants who gunned down her son, killing 25 and injuring five of them during a seven hour gun battle. Reza Gul watched helplessly as her son died while he manned a village checkpoint with his small team of police officers in the lawless Farah province. But flanked by her daughter and daughter-in-law, she led a counter strike on his attackers killing 25 militants and wounding another five during a ferocious seven hour gun battle. ‘I couldn’t stop myself and picked up a weapon,’ Gul told TOLO News. ‘I went to the check post and began shooting back.’ Her daughter-in-law Seema added: ‘The fighting was intensified when we reached the battlefield along with light and heavy weapons. We were committed to fight until the last bullet.’ She added that the combats zone was strewn with Taliban bodies when the fighting was over. A spokesman for the Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior told the agency it was a symbol of a public uprising. The Taliban is yet to comment about the incident. We’re sorry for her loss, but it certainly looks like she’s actively working on healing. This story would make a crazy action flick. TOLOnews

New Music: John Legend And Common Release Inspirational Anthem “Glory”

Are you feeling this inspirational joint? New Music: John Legend ft. Common – “Glory” With protests popping up around the country over racial injustice and police violence, this track is right on time. Common Says: Glory is a direct descendent of the inspiration behind the film; the movement of Dr. Martin Luther King, his leadership team and the everyday women and men who changed the world. The mission for “Glory” was to create a song that both captured the spirit of the people of the civil rights movement and connected that journey to what is going on in America today – so much has changed and so much still needs to change. Most importantly, I wanted to express that in everyday people lies the victory, that within ordinary people are extraordinary acts that will change the world and that all of us have a part to play in this change. John Legend Says: This film is such a powerful depiction of one of the most important moments in American history, a major moment in the struggle for civil rights, led by the late great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. When Ava approached us to write a song to close the film, we strove to capture the indomitable, optimistic spirit of the protesters, and we also sought to connect it to the ongoing struggle for civil rights today. As we’ve seen in places like Ferguson, Missouri, the struggle is not over. And music has always been a critical part of this movement. From Paul Robeson to Mahalia Jackson to James Brown to Nina Simone to Marvin Gaye to Bob Dylan, we have seen great artists provide the soundtrack and the inspiration for protesters to know that they could “overcome.” What do you think?

Grand Jury Decision In Eric Garner Choking Case Expected On Wednesday

Can we expect justice or more of the same ? Grand Jury Expected To Reveal Decision In Eric Garner Case On Wednesday The grand jury investigating the death of Eric Garner — choked to death by NYPD officers after selling cigarettes on the street — is expected to bring back their decision on Wednesday . With the disappointing outcomes of recent racially motivated police violence cases, people are hoping that murderous police will finally be asked to answer for their actions in a court of law. Via NYpost : The Staten Island grand jury investigating the police chokehold death of Eric Garner has finished hearing testimony and will be asked Wednesday to decide whether criminal charges should be filed, The Post has learned. The lawyer for the cop who put Garner into a chokehold said he didn’t expect the panel to deliberate more than two hours before making its decision. “If there’s no true bill, I expect a press release. If there’s an indictment, I expect I’ll get a call to arrange my client’s surrender,” said Stuart London, the lawyer for Officer Daniel Pantaleo. Prosecutors will sum up their evidence in the morning and give the grand jurors legal instructions, then tell them to start deliberating, law enforcement sources said. It’s unclear what charge or charges the panel will be asked to consider. During an unrelated news conference, Staten Island District Attorney Dan Donvovan urged the city “to be patient,” telling reporters: “We are going to let the grand jury do their work and then answer a lot of your questions.” Donovan also said officials expect protests “regardless of what the decision is.” NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said that while “people have a right to demonstrate,” cops will arrest anyone who commits an “actual crime,” including vandalism. “We have the ability to have a level of tolerance, breathing room if you will, and we’ve been doing that for these last eight, nine days and this is a department that has a lot of experience dealing with various forms of demonstrations and we adjust our strategies and our tactics depending on circumstances of the moment,” Bratton said. What do you think the outcome will be?

Surprise, Surprise: Darren Wilson Was Once An Officer On A Police Force Disbanded For Being Racist

Gee…what a shocker. Well no wonder he thinks he’s well within his right to shoot and kill unarmed Black kids…he’s been at this for a while. The entire police force he served on before Ferguson, MO was FIRED by the city for their racist practices and use of excessive force. Via NYDN : The white cop who killed unarmed black teen Michael Brown on Aug. 9 was once part of a Missouri police force that was disbanded over racial tensions in the community it served. Officer Darren Wilson was a member of the 45-employee Jennings, Mo., Police Department that was fired by its city council in 2011 and replaced by St. Louis County Police, the Washington Post reported. Wilson, 28, didn’t rack up any disciplinary issues during his tenure in Jennings, but the nearly all-white police force came under fire for its poor relations with the predominantly black community. “The straw that broke the camel’s back — an officer shot at a (black) female,” Rodney Epps, a Jennings city council member, told the newspaper. “She was stopped for a traffic violation. She had a child in the back (of the) car and was probably worried about getting locked up. And this officer chased her down Highway 70, past city limits, and took a shot at her. Just ridiculous,” Epps said. A black Jennings resident, Cassandra Fuller, said cops beat her in 2009 on her front porch after she joked about a car that crashed into her van in front of her house. “It’s like a horror story in my mind,” she said. “I never thought police would pull me off my porch and beat me to the ground, for just laughing,” said Fuller, who sued the department. Wilson, who was raised in Texas, was among the officers given the chance to reapply for their jobs, but he left Jennings for the nearby Ferguson Police Department. Of course he faced no disciplinary action while on that old force…he damn sure hasn’t faced any now after killing a child. There’s no telling what else he took part in in Jennings before taking his radical force and racist attitudes to Ferguson. SMH.

BREAKING NEWS: Murderer Darren Wilson Officially Resigns From Ferguson Police Department

Deuces! Darren Wilson Resigns From Ferguson Police Department After Not Being Charged For Killing Mike Brown Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who fired at least 12 shots at unarmed teenager Mike Brown that resulted in his death during a confrontation in August, has officially resigned from his job. via NBC News The white police officer who killed Michael Brown has resigned from the Ferguson Police Department, nearly four months after the confrontation that fueled protests in the St. Louis suburb and across the nation. Darren Wilson has been on administrative leave since the Aug. 9 shooting. His resignation was announced Saturday by one of his attorneys, Neil Bruntrager. Bruntrager says the resignation is effective immediately. A grand jury spent more than three months reviewing evidence in the case before declining in November to issue any charges against the 28-year-old Wilson. He told jurors that he feared for his life when Brown hit him and grabbed for his gun. The U.S. Justice Department is still conducting a civil rights investigation into the shooting and a separate probe of police department practices. Do you think the Ferguson Police Department would have ever fired Darren Wilson if he didn’t resign? Facebook
