In the latest case of white people calling 12 on Black folks for minding their own muthaf**kin’ business, we have Christina Cabral, a Dunkin Donuts owner in Fairfax, VA. According to Yahoo! , Cabral is accused of racially profiling Tirza Wilbon White when she came into the store, as she has for two years now, and sat down to log-on to the information superhighway. “I had just sat down when a woman I had never seen before walked up and asked, ‘Are you going to buy coffee?’” White, 46, a former assistant professor at the University of Maryland and mother of two, tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “I told her I planned on buying coffee after I got settled, but not if it were mandated.” Tirza posted three videos of her interaction with Cabral on Facebook so that we could all see exactly what happened when she confronted her. Getty Images Motel 6 To Pay 7.6M To Help Settle Claim It Called ICE On Latino Guests After a nationwide class-action lawsuit against Motel 6 , the chain has agreed to pay as much as $7.6 million to guests who said their private information was given to U.S. immigration agents, according to court records. Former guests sued the motel chain over privacy violations earlier this year , alleging that the chain handed over their personal information to ICE agents, according to the lawsuit. This lawsuit came after a 2017 Phoenix New Times report that these agents made at least 20 arrests at two Motel 6 locations in Arizona. Under the new proposed settlement agreement, the hotel has also agreed not to share guests’ personal information without a warrant or subpoena, unless necessary to prevent “a significant crime,” according to the court document. “It’s very important in our minds that Motel 6 is putting in place policies and procedures that would prevent this from happening again,” Thomas Saenz–president and general counsel at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF)–told The Washington Post on Tuesday. MALDEF is who represented the guests in the class-action lawsuit. Now, Motel 6 and MALDEF have announced in a joint statement that the hotel has prohibited employees from sharing such information about its guests. “Motel 6 fully recognizes the seriousness of the situation and accepts full responsibility for both compensating those who were harmed and taking the necessary steps to ensure that we protect the privacy of our guests,” it said. Despite this, the hotel chain still did not admit to any wrongdoing. MALDEF filed this lawsuit back in January, on behalf of seven class representatives from Arizona and one from Washington state. It alleged that employees at Motel 6 locations in Arizona gave Hispanic guests’ personal information, such as their Mexican passports and other forms of identification, to agents from the Department of Homeland Security and ICE without warrants being served. The proposed settlement states that Motel 6 will pay up to $5.6 million (at least $7,500 per guest) to those who were placed in immigration-removal proceedings; up to $1 million (at least $1,000 per guest) to those who were interrogated; and up to $1 million (at least $50 per guest) to those whose personal information was given to federal authorities. Motel 6 will also cover the cost of the former guests’ legal fees.

The employee, Amanda Johnson, is suing the cosmetics giant for discrimination along with claiming she endured a toxic work environment while employed with the company. Johnson claims that she was fired by phone after being promoted to assistant VP of digital marketing. She also says her boss Dan Bethelmy Rada would have “all-night benders and hotel parties . . . for which Rada expected Johnson to enlist ‘recruits,’ ” the suit explains, which was filed in New York federal court. Johnson is claiming that she witnessed a male executive watching porn during a business meeting, as well as sex-fueled parties at luxury European hotels during work trips, along with rampant racist hostility from management. The complaint also states that Johnson felt physically threatened by a fellow VP, Nicolas Krafft–she claims that she was fired after submitting an internal complaint to Rada. A L’Oréal spokesperson refuted the claims, calling them “baseless.” They told Page Six the following: “Amanda Johnson was fired for a pattern of unprofessional conduct that surfaced during her final months at the company, including what in our view was abusive and threatening behavior toward colleagues, serious lapses in judgment, and declining performance.” The rep added, “After she was let go, Ms. Johnson raised some alarming allegations about her manager and certain co-workers through a lawyer. We took her allegations seriously and investigated them all with great care, as they had not been reported to [HR] when she was with the company.” Johnson’s lawyers quickly fired back at this denial, saying, “L’Oréal’s public response to Ms. Johnson’s complaint shows that the company holds underrepresented minorities to a different standard in all respects. L’Oréal again has wrongfully tried to discredit and punish the victim, an African-American woman, by choosing to accept a false version of events as told by a few white employees on its payroll. L’Oréal’s so-called ‘investigation’ conducted ‘with great care’ did not even include asking Ms. Johnson for her side of the story.”

While Kelly is scheduled to take part in the network’s midterm election coverage, she might be too toxic to bring back that quickly. It is also reported that Megyn has split with her talent agency, CAA, and has hired a lawyer. Perhaps to negotiate a fair exit out of her contract with is worth $23 million in year two of a three-year contract. Image via Shannon Fagan White Woman Calls Cops On Black Father For Talking To Soccer Player Son Apparently, we as Black people can’t enjoy simple activities like watching our children play soccer without fear of having the police called on us. According to ABCNews , some wilted, WASPy woman who works as a “field marshal”, whatever-the-f**k THAT is, alerted deputies to a Black man who was allegedly harrassing a referee. Here’s what ACTUALLY happened. The referee made what was descibed as a bad call, the father ran out to tell his son not to worry about it and play ball. This Zimmerman-esque field heffa decided that she had to slather her mayo mindset all over the situation by intervening. The unidentified father told the field heffa that he wasn’t talking to the ref, but rather his son. The father even offered to rectify the situation on his own accord to avoid trouble. “They had a bad call with my son and … I said, ‘Hey, the ref was right.’ She thought I was yelling at the ref. So, she came over and I was like, ‘No ma’am, I was yelling at my son. Nobody else,’” the father is heard telling deputies who responded to the scene. This miserable bish STILL called the cops. At this point another white woman, Ginger Williams, began filming the father’s interaction with the cops because she heard the field heffa utter the classic phrase that white women say when interacting with Black men: “I no longer feel safe due to your threatening behavior.” Luckily, Williams and several other parents spoke to the cop to assure him that the field heffa was full of s#!t. Ultimately the father was not detained and all was well. But imagine how far left this COULD have gone…
