A resident of South Florida was arrested this week after he kept calling 911 to report what he believed to be a serious crime: His wife had thrown out his beer. West Palm Beach police say they responded on Monday evening to a call for help made by Carlos Bueno Mir. When cops arrived on the scene, the 49-year old told them about his wife’s actions, causing officers to explain that this is NOT the sort of emergency for which 911 is meant to be used. They also said, surprisingly, that Mir appeared to be intoxicated. Later that same night, Carlos dialed 911 again (and then again), yelling at the operating and claiming that a female outside had broken into two of his beers. Altogether, Mir called 911 seven times in four hours. He now faces charges of misuse of the 911 emergency system for making a false alarm or complaint or reporting false information. Former Roc-A-Fella Employee Talks Jay Z, Rachel Roy, Dame Dash, Aaliyah Yesterday, the Carter-Knowles camp finally released an official statement speaking out about the now-infamous elevator altercation between Solange and Jay Z following a Met Gala after party earlier this month but little-to-no details were given about what sent Solange into a fit of rage. At the center of the more concrete theories on what led up to the Solange’s spazz session is Damon Dash’s ex-wife and former Roc-A-Fella inter Rachel Roy. StyleBlazer recently caught up with former Roc-A-Fella videographer Arthur Alston who was employed during the companies early days and gave some interesting insight on what was really going on back then between Jay Z, Rachel, Dame, and Aaliyah before also weighing about Solange and Beyonce. Check out a little of what he had to say below: How did you initially get in the door at Roc-A-Fella? With Dame, he saw one of my film projects and was impressed with my work. So he hired me. How did Rachel Roy initially get in the door at Roc-A-Fella? She was an intern at Roc-A-Wear and then she started dating Dame and… kind of, you know, became his eyes and ears. I guess she was inspired to be a designer and she got the opportunity by dating him. Was it common for the female employees to date the men there? Yes. Did you ever see a non-professional relationship between Rachel Roy and Jay Z while she was with Dame? Never. I don’t believe that [the rumors] to be true. This is the first time I’m hearing it. I know that Rachel has been with Dame for a long time. She was even pregnant when Aaliyah was his girl. So she’s been around for a while. So Rachel was in a position where –she started off as an intern– Dame was attracted to her and started assisting him. She got to be hands-on with the lines because being that she was dating him, he brought her into his business structure. She learned a lot about the business and Dame taught her as well. My name is Elodie. I’m 16 years old and I live in a small town in Canada. I can finally say it: I met my idol after 4 years of waiting. I bought my tickets to see Justin in December 2012. I was going to the concert with 3 of my friends: Rachel, Elizabeth and Audrey. Rachel’s dad was driving 3 hours to take us to the concert. I was really looking forward to the concert. I was blessed to see my idol for the 3 rd time in concert. On July 22, 2012, Rachel tweeted me that she had won the Bieber Fever contest. I couldn’t believe it. My best friend’s dream was coming true and I was really happy for her. I was crying and shaking. It was showing that if you really hang onto your dreams, they will come true, eventually. She didn’t know yet who she was going to bring with her. I was 100% sure it wasn’t going to be me. Turns out, I was totally wrong. At 18:47, Rachel called me. We talk a bit about the concert and the fact that she was meeting Justin. We were both freaking out. At some point, I asked her who she was bringing with her. She took a pause before telling me that I was the one meeting Justin with her. I couldn’t believe it. I was crying, screaming and shaking. I was so happy. My dream was coming true after 4 years of waiting. At the same time, I was kind of sad. I knew that two of my friends would be really disappointed because they wouldn’t meet him. The day of the concert flew by really fast. Before I even knew it, I was in line to get my bracelet for the meet and greet. I was shaking in the line. I was really nervous that something would go wrong and we couldn’t get our bracelets. When the woman gave us our bracelet, Rachel and I started crying. We then put our bracelet and went in line to meet Justin. The line started moving and I was freaking out. That was it. The moment I waited for so long. Security checked our bracelet 100 times to be sure that they were real. We were the next one to enter in the room. When we entered the room, Justin was taking a picture with a family. He was wearing a white and black tank top, a black snapback and red sun glasses. Having him standing in front of me, that’s when I realized that it was all real. I wasn’t dreaming.
