The first two episodes of the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries aired Thursday night on Lifetime. The docuseries features testimonies of women who have had romantic relationships with R. Kelly, stories of his childhood, and stories from people close to the R&B star. Stephanie “Sparkle” Edwards is an R&B singer and was R. Kelly’s protégé. He helped shape her career and they became close friends through. Sparkle called into The Morning Heat to talk about the series and how introducing her niece to R. Kelly affected her relationship with her family. On the series, she Sparkle talks about R.Kelly’s behavior towards women and his need for control. She also shares how she introduced her niece to R. Kelly in hopes of him help launch her rap career. But later wished she never had. The series continues tonight on Lifetime.

The chart-topping group will hit the road for more than two-dozen dates alongside fellow R&B acts from the 2000s: Mario, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Bobby V, Pretty Ricky and Chingy. The official tour schedule will be released at 9 a.m. ET on New Years Eve (Dec. 31st, 2018) with tickets going on sale to the public Jan. 4, 2019 in some cities and in remaining cities on Jan. 11. Rick Scott is so shook by the possibility of every vote being counted in Florida he filed lawsuits on Sunday “calling for voting machines to be impounded in two Democratic-leaning counties, after accusing his opponents of voter fraud,” according to Vice.com . Sounds like more voter suppression in plain sight.
