Jay-Z And Kanye West Shuffle Watch the Throne Tour Dates

‘We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there,’ Jay says of pushing launch to October. By Rob Markman Kanye West and Jay-Z Photo: Getty Images Fans eager to experience Watch the Throne live are going to have to wait an extra month before they can see Jay-Z and Kanye West in concert. On Tuesday morning, Live Nation started a pre-sale for the WTT Tour, but the original run, which was set to begin on September 22 in Detroit, is no longer. Instead Yeezy and Hov will now kick things off on October 29 in Atlanta, Georgia. The original 24-date tour is now slated for 17 stops, but Live Nation’s website says that more dates will be announced soon. The October 29 Atlanta date was in fact on the original schedule, as was the October 30, Greensboro, North Carolina, date and the November 1 show in Baltimore. The remaining concerts are all rescheduled. Look back at the events leading up to Watch the Throne ‘s August 8 release. There is still no New York City date on paper yet, though Hov confirmed that there will be one during a radio interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez on Monday, when he also denied rumors of a feud between him and Kanye . The Throne will stop at the nearby Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for two nights and will also land in West’s hometown of Chicago on December 1. “That’s an old list we had to push that back, because it was like, we tried to put it out in pre-order and all the lines got jammed,” Jay told Martinez in the interview as she read off the tour’s original dates. “We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there. We’ll probably put four New York dates there instead.” Check out exclusive photos of Jay-Z and Kanye West in the studio. As of now, the last date on the schedule is across the northern border on December 18 in Vancouver. In the radio interview, Jay said that he and Kanye hadn’t worked out the performance details and couldn’t confirm who would hit the stage when or how the two would interact. “We hadn’t worked out those details yet but considerable time will be spent onstage together,” he said. 50 Cent, Kanye West Collaboration Delayed By Watch The Throne

‘I don’t know if it will actually happen during this period,’ 50 says of plans to work with Kanye. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Matt Elias 50 Cent Photo: MTV News Will he or won’t he? After taking to Twitter to say he will not release another album, 50 Cent has many wondering about the fate of his upcoming, untitled fifth LP. One thing is for sure, if 50’s album is ever released , Kanye West probably won’t be a part of it. “Yeah we talked about it, both of us; and Kanye went on the radio and talked about us collaborating soon,” 50 told MTV News on Tuesday while on the set of Hot Rod’s “Hot Girl” video. “I don’t know if it will actually happen during this period, because of how much they got going on with Watch the Throne, with him and Jay doing that. I don’t know.” In 2007, ‘Ye and the G-Unit boss squared off in a famous sales battle between West’s Graduation and 50’s Curtis (if you don’t recall, Kanye won). While the competition was hyped up at the time, it doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore, and 50 is still open to the idea of working with the rapper/producer. But even without that collaboration, 50 said he has amassed quite a few songs already. “I have a lot of good ideas for it, and I just put ’em on the side and said, ‘We’ll see what happens,’ and I kept doing other things,” he said. “I have too many records right now. I recorded to the point that I have 40 songs for a CD that will have 13, maybe 14 cuts.” That is if the CD ever sees the light of day. On Wednesday morning, 50 tweeted: “Man I’m not releasing a album. I can’t believe Interscope is this f—ed up right now. I apologize to my fans.” Shortly after, Fif also threatened to leak Dr. Dre’s new single “Psycho” in retaliation for the foul treatment he felt he has received from the label. He later recanted. “I wouldn’t leak dre’s record he has done nothing but help me in my career,” 50 tweeted. “Jimmy [Iovine] has always been supportive of me.” Are you excited about the potential of a 50 Cent and Kanye West track? Tila Tequila Gets Sexy For Howard

I almost forgot all about my favorite asian Tila Tequila , where the hell has she been hiding? Here she is looking pretty sexy outside the Sirius Radio studios before an appearance on Howard Stern. It’s nice to see that she hasn’t gotten all fat or pregnant or anything like that. Shouldn’t she be in porn by now? I bet Howard got her to talk about her vagina.

Crystal Harris, 24, said Tuesday on Sirius XM Radio#39;s Howard Stern Show that s-ex with the 85-year-old Playboy founder lasted “like two seconds.” “Then I was just over it,” she says. “I was like, #39;Ahhh.#39; I was over it. Amy Winehouse Producer Mark Ronson Remembers Back To Black

‘Before that came out, there was nothing else on the radio that sounded like it,’ producer told MTV Radio last year. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Sasha Hamrogue Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse Photo: Dave Hogan/ Getty Images Last year, when Mark Ronson was in New York doing press for his upcoming Record Collection album , he couldn’t avoid questions about Amy Winehouse and her long-in-the-works follow-up to 2006’s Back to Black album. But to his credit, Ronson happily answered each and every one and, in the process, had a moment to reflect on not only the success of Black, but on the rather seismic shift it created in pop music. Of course, in the wake of Winehouse’s death on Saturday, Ronson’s words took on newfound meaning. Because no matter how Winehouse is remembered , her music will always be her lasting legacy. “I am really proud of the sound of Amy’s record, and, it’s hard to remember, but before that came out, there was nothing else really on the radio that sounded like it,” Ronson told MTV Radio in August 2010. “And then it kind of influenced things and became quite regular to hear something that would sound like that. I don’t think there’s anything that was as good as it, or as raw as Amy’s vocals and her songs.” Ronson also spoke about how the duo planned on following up Back to Black, pointing to a then recent session he had just completed with Winehouse — a cover of Lesley Gore’s “It’s My Party” that appeared on Quincy Jones’ Q: Soul Bossa Nostra album — as a possible hint at things to come. And despite the fact that he had spent most of his time trying to distance himself from the crackling retro leanings of Black, he knew that, when he worked with Winehouse, the best way to proceed was to keep things simple. “If Amy’s record had sold 300,000 copies and mine had sold 100,000 as opposed to significantly more than that, we’d probably both be quite happy coasting along doing the same sound. … [A]nd that’s a sound that I’m genuinely fond of; but the fact that it did get so big sort of forced me to change it up,” he said. “But who knows, because Amy and I recorded a song quite recently for this Quincy Jones tribute record; we did a cover of Lesley Gore, and there was no point in dragging my Roland synths into an Amy Winehouse session. There’s a kind of production arrangement that supports her voice. … And after coming off my record, where the main edict was ‘No covers, no horns,’ to go back and cover a Lesley Gore song with the Dap-Kings and Amy felt like regressing a bit, but it wasn’t, because it just sounds good and that’s what she’s supposed to sound like.” Ronson also talked about the expectations Winehouse was facing with the follow-up to Black, expectations he thought were impossible to manage. And, in doing so, he struck a tone that seems eerily prescient in retrospect. “First of all, we’re in a situation where the record industry basically loses about 10 percent in sales every year, so she’s five years between records, and if you’re talking numbers-wise, then no, [she] probably [won’t sell as many records],” he said. “But I still think she’s fully capable of writing another batch of brilliant songs and making a great record, and hopefully Salaam [Remi] and I will be involved in it because I think we all made a great record together last time. But you can never really count on anything being a given, so we’ll see.” Related Photos Amy Winehouse: A Life In Photos Related Artists Amy Winehouse Mark Ronson

My name is Rachel, I’m 16 years old and I was…

My name is Rachel, I’m 16 years old and I was Justin’s OLLG in Dublin, Ireland on the 8th of March 2011. My friend Shauna & I have been in love with Justin ever since we heard One Time playing on the radio about two years ago. As you may know, this was the first time Justin came to Ireland and since I stalk him on Twitter (haha) I knew when the tickets were on sale. Shauna & I waited by my laptop for about 2 hours waiting, JUST waiting. Then ticketmaster homepage flashed up on screen “Justin Bieber tickets on sale NOW!” I clicked the icon so quick, I nearly sprained my finger. I t said we were front row seats, 24-25. We ordered them, closed down the laptop and squealed for ages. We had to pay back my mam by doing chores and stuff, but it was all good.  Finally, it was the 8th. That day I was up since like 6 am! It was my first time in the 02 and it was HUGE! We got lost so many times, asking people where and how to get to the first row. Some gave us evil looks and tried to be stuck up because they were obviously jealous and some were really nice. “OMG I’m right beside ye!”, a girl called Niamh said. So us three got some merch and followed Niamh to the front row. Finally the lights went down and the show started. I screamed at the top of my lungs. Justin went straight playing Love Me. It was amazing being so close to him. W hen ‘Never let you go’ came on, someone walked past me. When he was walking back, he stopped in front of me. “Hey wanna be the OLLG?”. My heart was going a mile a minute. “RACHEL! GO!” Shauna pushed me. I was speechless. “Of course she does,” Niamh said. I nodded quickly. I followed him to the end and he brought me back. Finally the big moment came. The guys guided me to the stage, I got all fumbled and went the wrong way they all smiled at me, I laughed at how stupid I was being. But then I remembered I was sitting infront of 8,000 people and I became nervous again. Justin walked down the steps smiling at me with the roses in his hands. When he handed them to me, a tear came to my eye. Instead of cupping my face, he wiped it away with him thumb smiling at me. Then I smiled. He put his arms around me too and gave me a huge hug. I went back to my seat and started shaking. I couldn’t believe that JUST happened. When I told my mom she like freaked out.  When I’m having a bad day, I just go on Youtube and look up the video. It makes me feel so much better. It was the most amazing night of my life. That’s my Bieber experience.  Continued here: My name is Rachel, I’m 16 years old and I was…

Can Listening To Music Improve Your Health?

Visit link:

If you are an avid music lover like myself, you most likely woke up this morning with a song floating around in your mind. That song followed you through your daily routines, rolling around in your head like the apple in your lunch bag, causing you to hum along and maybe even dance a bit while accomplishing your goals for the day. While not everyone has the same song that they consider “pump up music” in their life, the idea that music can improve your mood and be a catalyst for people in their daily lives is important to acknowledge. According to an article on NPR about a new book called The Power of Music , the author Elena Mannes “sees so much potential in music’s power to change the brain and affect the way it works.” From that perspective, music can be anything from a life-changer for stroke victims to a daily remedy for the average person suffering a bad day. The sounds of singing and instruments, no matter the genre, have the effect of medicine on an ailing brain in times of need. The tunes can range from slow jams to fast-paced anthems or classical pieces, but it ends up being the general melody and placement of lyrics that triggers memories and feelings associated with emotional growth. The knowledge of sounds, whether they be the natural rhythms of the heart or the pounding beat of an r&b song, can be detected as early as in the womb. Music is ingrained in our lives even prior to our birth, which gives strong validation to the idea that listening to the sounds around us is good for our health! 5 Ways To Find Inspiration From Within While this book is mostly associated with the affects of music therapy on patients with serious ailments, people with every day problems in love, family, or work can relate to music bringing uplift and restorative properties into their lives. After a long day caring for the children or sitting in an office cubicle, listening to a popular song from the radio or turning on your iPod to your favorite song can be a therapeutic and often leave more positive feelings in its wake. From personal experience, music has been both the optimistic friend that cheers you up and the “Debbie Downer” that helps me revel in my negative emotions. Both of these uses can be have a purposeful outcome in that when you need that emotional release, sad music can be a good coping mechanism, but when positivity is in order, there is always a crutch for that arm. It depends on what you are looking for from the music that you are listening to, as different moods bring varying degrees of needs. The improvement of health from putting on your headphones and feeling free from the strains of every day life is one of the strongest unifying properties of the listening experience, as people from all walks of life can experience the strong emotional value of music. Music is powerful in that with its melodic and healing properties, health can improve based on immersing oneself in your favorite song on your iPod or waking up to a song floating around in your head. The musical experience surpasses cultural or generational boundaries, therefore, it already has strong effects on the way people live. The instruments, lyrics, and voices of the performers are all very ingrained in human connection, therefore, bringing music therapy to light as having a strong effect on health is a powerful step in the right direction. As health becomes a main concern in the aging process, music can have the power to uplift, add passion, and center your life. Turn up your music and enjoy the vitality that your favorite song brings you! 5 Ways To See Beyond Expectations & Embrace The Unknown Tupac Shooter Confesses To 1994 Crime Shaq Involved In Sex Tape Scandal!
