If you’ve spent any time in New Jersey, you may have heard the about the myth of the Jersey Devil—a winged creature pegasus-like creature that stalks the New Jersey Pinelands. Though many call it a myth, those who claimed to have seen it think it is no myth at all. Over the years, thousands of witness have reported seeing the creature. Dave Black of Little Egg Harbor Township is among those who have seen the Jersey Devil . Last week, as Black was driving home from work in Atlantic City, he saw what he thought was a llama running among the tree line. “I was just driving past the golf course in Galloway on Route 9 and had to shake my head a few times when I thought I saw a llama,” he wrote in an email to NJ.com . But, Black claims, that animal suddenly took off flying: “If that wasn’t enough, then it spread out leathery wings and flew off over the golf course.” Black quickly grabbed his phone to take pictures.
