‘The Situation’ Jokes About Slavery At Comedy Central Roast

Continued here:

At Donald Trump’s Comedy Central Roast last night, Jersey Shore cast-mate Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, got up on stage to attempt some stand up comedy. As I suppose you would expect from someone who spends their days GTL’ing (gym, tan, laundry) and proudly proclaims, ‘I’m hooking up with this girl, your girl’s girl, and your girlfriend’s girlfriend’s girlfriend. Somebody’s gotta do it’, he took the low road. According to The Frisky , The Situation, addressed Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg (who openly smoked a huge blunt while on stage), and said; ‘hey, Snoop Dogg, Donald Trump and your ancestors had a lot in common — they owned real estate, and your ancestors were property! … This is my first time doing comedy!’. Seriously? I would never have guessed. What a fool. I’m sorry, but joking about the slave trade, and calling Black people property isn’t funny. Thankfully, the crowd at the gala didn’t think so either, and booed him off stage, making him the first roaster to be booed in over 10 years. Sadly, people trying to make light of slavery, seems to be a trend (remember Chelsea Handler at the VMA’s?). I’m all for not judging people for others mistakes and trying not to dwell on a situation, but it really does bother me when White people try to make light of the African American struggle for freedom and equality. What do you think? Is it becoming acceptable for someone, especially a White person to make jokes about slavery? To Rent or To Buy? Cities Where It’s Better To Own or Pay a Landlord

Should you buy or should you rent? It’s a question most people ask themselves at some point in their lives.  Although most people think renting is a waste of money, it really depends on which city you live in. The real estate site Trulia recently released a report on 50 major cities, assessing which ones made more sense for renters and which ones made the most sense for buyers. Although 36 cities fell on the buy side of the equation, 10 were determined as being cheaper to rent. Here’s a highlight of 12 of those cities: Continued at The Atlanta Post

Cameron Diaz See Through Bikini of the Day

It is your thanksgiving and I figure why should I bother trying to post, no one is going to read it, but then I remembered that the world is not based on fucking America and since I have no readers on a regular day, nothing changes come Holidays…. So here are some pics of Cameron Diaz giving thanks that she’s got tons of money and access to Botox, cuz bitch is old. These pics are shitty, but at least she’s not fat like most 40 year old pussy that didn’t make a living off their looks, who never married and never got knocked up, cuz they feared getting old and becoming irrlevant…I guess we can thank Hollywood for that, cuz without it, god fucking knows that kind of pig behind the counter at WalMart Cameron Diaz would be. Not that it matters. Happy Thanksgiving America. Celebrating Natives who are shitty at real estate deals with Turkey meals and football makes total sense to me…but not as much as Cameron Diaz hiding her menopause body while trying to hang onto her youth…but not in a fun, careless sex tape way, but in a covering her menopausal body way. Boring.

My Chemical Romance Want to Help Rock ‘Get Its Legs Back’

Gerard Way says new album Danger Days is an ‘allegory for the music industry.’ By James Montgomery My Chemical Romance Photo: MTV News Much has been made about the path My Chemical Romance took in making Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, a two-year odyssey that saw them record an entire album , scrap it and part ways with drummer Bob Bryar . But for all the drama that went into Danger Days, MCR frontman Gerard Way can trace the entire album’s genesis back to one single moment: the making of their “Desolation Row” video , which they shot for Zack Snyder’s “Watchmen” film in late 2008. “In a weird way, yeah, ‘Watchmen’ was [the beginning]. … It’s kind of funny, because [we] had a weird experience with making that video. There’s always early signs,” Way told MTV News on Monday. “I remember somebody in that audience when we were shooting that video saying, ‘Wow, is your new stuff going to sound like this? Because I’ve never been into you guys, but if it sounds like this, I’m into it.’ And I remember kind of thinking — and I should’ve really paid attention to the signs — like, ‘Well, I’m not doing this for you to all of a sudden like us, ’cause we’re kind of playing tough.’ “Like, to me, that would be the ultimate pandering,” he continued. “And I kind of feel like the first attempt at the record, in a strange way, was that. It was like saying, ‘Oh, we can be a straight rock band; we’re not going to irritate you with the way you look anymore, or what we’re saying. We’re not going to challenge any ideas, we’re just going to be so straight … and do what we do great — write great songs — but we’re going to do that so much that we’re no longer a threat. And once we’re no longer a threat, maybe there will be less noise, maybe there will be less opposition.’ So Danger Days was a fight against those feelings.” And so, Way got busy creating an entire world, retrofitting the “Killjoys” comic book he had been working on as MCR’s newest, most purposeful effort to date. To him, Danger Days isn’t a concept record like Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge or The Black Parade. It’s something deeper, bigger and more important: it’s a rallying cry. “It’s not a concept record with a story. It’s just a complete allegory. Even the existence of Battery City and these Zones outside of it — they’re very dangerous to live in — Battery City is very safe and clean, and you’re living outside of it just to be free,” he explained. “It’s a complete allegory for the music industry, for the state of music. Rock kind of has to get its legs back and take back a lot of real estate, and I think that’s what Danger Days is trying to do.” Open the floodgates! It’s Mega-Release Week, with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, Ke$ha, My Chemical Romance and Lloyd Banks all dropping new albums. Question for Paul Krugman: Are Things Better Today Than In January 2007?

A recurring theme from liberal media members as we approach the midterm elections is that Americans have to vote for Democrats in November so the nation doesn’t go back to the way things were when Republicans ran everything. A perfect example is New York Times columnist Paul Krugman who on Friday penned a piece called “Downhill With the G.O.P.”: Never mind the war on terror, the party’s main concern seems to be the war on arithmetic. And this party has a better than even chance of retaking at least one house of Congress this November. Banana republic, here we come. In the midst of all this ” Do you really want to go back to those days ” talk is a staggering ignorance concerning how ” those days ” compare to now: In January 2007 before the Democrats took over Congress, unemployment was 4.6 percent; now it’s 9.6 percent. In January 2007 there were 7.1 million unemployed people in America; now there are 14.9 million. In January 2007 the median home price was $210,600; today it’s $179,300. In January 2007 the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 12,500; today it’s at 10,840. In January 2007 the gross federal debt was $9 trillion; today it’s $13.5 trillion. The poverty rate in 2006 was 12.3 percent; now it’s 14.3 percent In the final budget created by a GOP-controlled Congress, the deficit was $160 billion; now it’s $1.6 trillion. Add it all up and: there were half as many people out of work then; houses were worth 17 percent more; stocks were 16 percent higher; the federal debt was 33 percent lower; poverty was 14 percent lower, and; the deficit was 90 percent lower!  As such, I ask Mr. Krugman and all liberal media members stumping for Democrats: is America really better off today than it was in January 2007? If so, how ?
