Brooks Ayers Diagnosed With Cancer; Vicki Gunvalson Saddened By News

Brooks Ayers has just been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, and Vicki Gunvalson of The Real Housewives of Orange County is understandably devastated. Gunvalson expressed her sadness over the troubling turn for on-again, off-again love following his diagnosis of “aggressive and fast-moving” cancer. “I am very sad about the recent diagnosis of Brooks’s cancer reoccurrence,” she said. Added the original cast member, “It really puts life in perspective and makes you realize just how important health, family and friends are during this time.” The Real Housewives of Orange County staple thanked her fans “for respecting his privacy and for all your thoughts and prayers for Brooks during this time.” Ayers was initially diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma about a year ago. Following the recent developments, he’s “determined to fight this horrible disease and am surrounded by love and support from people who truly care about me.” “Life is funny sometimes; sometimes it is not,” Ayers told Radar this week. “Let me assure you that I am going to remain positive and continue to battle this disease vigorously with much tenacity along with seeking the appropriate medical care.” Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers have been together since 2011, shortly after her 2010 split from longtime husband Donn played out on Bravo. Lately, the embattled couple has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, as video surfaced of Brooks admitting he cheated on her with hookers . He also copped in another video to hurting her emotionally and physically, leading many fans to decry that apparent reference to domestic abuse. Rob Kardashian Tweets About Son Again! Does the Struggling Reality Star Secretly Have a Kid?!

Back in July, Rob Kardashian tweeted about having a son , then quickly deleted the post. He later claimed to be only joking, but it was neither the first not the last time that Rob publicly confirmed that he’s a dad.  Last year, Rob told friends he has a kid , shortly after posting a “shout-out” to his “son’s mom” on Instagram.  Yesterday, Rob tweeted, “I’m about to go pick my son up from the port and can’t wait to watch a great movie with him…Suggestions anyone? He’s 6.” He quickly deleted the tweet, but did not post a “Just kidding!” retraction as he has in the past. So why would Rob attempt to keep his offspring under wraps, and why would he so terrible at keeping it on the down-low? Addressing the second question first: Rob’s struggles with drug addiction are well-documented. We really, really hope he’s not high on sizzurp or weed (his alleged drugs of choice) while on the way to pick up his son, but his tendency to tweet while high could account for his inability to keep a secret. But why would he want to keep the kid a secret in the first place? Well, anyone who’s read Kanye West’s wedding speech knows that the Kardashians fancy themselves some sort of powerful, Game of Thrones -style royal house, and Kris Jenner is probably delusional enough to think that anyone cares about her family’s bloodlines. Like his sister, Rob has dated his fair share of losers and users (rumor has is that Rita Ora cheated on him with 20 dudes ), but as the sole male Kardashian, there might be pressure on Rob to only knock up classy, respectable-type broads, ya know? So it’s possible that Kris didn’t approve of Rob’s choice of baby mama, so she cut the poor girl a fat check to go underground. Bethenny Frankel & Jason Hoppy: Searching For Love on Millionaire Matchmaker?!

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are both coming to Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker … if the show’s mostly ineffectual host, Patti Stanger, has her way. Stanger, the Millionaire Matchmaker herself, is a believer in second chances at love. One would think, since actual matches on her show are rare. What she’s an even bigger believer in is ratings, and as a result, she’s looking to sign up the divorced duo for her upcoming celebrity-only season! According to a source close to both stars, Frankel’s beau has reason to worry: “Patti is a big fan of Bethenny’s and even though Bethenny currently has a boyfriend, Patti thinks she could tremendously benefit from coming on the show.” “Patti would find the most eligible bachelors, and carefully screen each one.” She isn’t out to rub this in Jason’s face, though. She wants him on, too! “Her skills could also be used for Bethenny’s estranged husband, Jason, too! He would be a great guy to try and match up with a single, successful woman.” “Jason seems to be a great dad, very involved.” Bethenny and Jason had an ugly divorce and even uglier custody battle if you recall, so the idea of a reunion on Bravo might be met with skepticism. The plan is not for them to appear together, the source says, although he admits that anything is possible. “That could be very interesting television!” Patti must be one to watch The Real Housewives of New York City online , because she is flat out raiding her fellow Bravo program’s talent pool. Sonja Morgan already filmed an episode for the new season, and rumors of a newly single Ramona Singer on Millionaire Matchmaker are also swirling. Lisa Vanderpump: Family Cuts Ties With "Egomaniac" Reality Star

Lisa Vanderpump is good at keeping up appearances, but these days, the Bravo star has more than her fair share of problems. For starters, despite Vanderpump’s astronomical  Real Housewives of Beverly Hills salary , she and her business partners are reportedly losing their shirts in the restaurant business. In fact, Vanderpump sold one of her restaurants last month, following a devastating sexual harassment lawsuit from one of her employees. Her other LA hot spot, Sur, may soon go on the auction block as well. To make matters worse, a recent report Radar Online says things aren’t going any better in Lisa’s personal life: Sources say several members of Lisa’s family have completely cut ties with the the reality star, claiming that she’s become an “egomaniac” since gaining fame. “They have given her too many chances and they cannot stand the person she has become,” says an insider close to the family. “They do not even recognize her anymore and want nothing to do with her.” Sad stuff, but apparently Lisa couldn’t care less: She’s stated in the past, “My family has not supported my decision to venture into this world.” The source confirms that Lisa is not at all concerned with the opinions of her relatives:  “Lisa is so caught up in her world, she does not care what her family or anyone else thinks of her.” That’s all well and good when you’re rich, but if Lisa’s restaurants keep tanking, she might soon wish she hadn’t burned so many bridges. Lizzie Rovsek: Tamra Barney Lies! She Covinced Everyone to Skip My Party!

Yesterday, Tamra Barney attempted to save face with The Real Housewives of Orange County fans by writing a lengthy Facebook post defending her actions in the previous night’s episode. Tamra claimed producers on the show convinced her to ditch Lizzie Rovsek’s birthday party at the last minute without providing any details. Barney says her daughter was ill and she’d intended to give Lizzie plenty of advance notice, but Bravo wanted the drama of a last-minute flake-out. Today, Radar Online has obtained texts sent from Lizzie to Tamra revealing that Rovsek thinks Barney skipped the celebration because she felt like it. Worse, Tamra stands accused of convincing Vicki Gunvalson to fake a yeast infection in order to giver her an excuse to stay home. “I honestly wouldn’t have cared if you just didn’t want to go,” Lizzie texted. “The general vibe I got from everyone, producers included, was that you just didn’t want to be there.” Then Lizzie pulls out the big guns, and accuses Tamra of a totally gross violation of girl code: “The whole yeast infection thing you told Vivki to tell producers wasn’t very nice.” Not very nice, indeed. Did she have to go with s uch a TMI excuse? It was bad enough that  Tamra told everyone about her bedroom quirks . (The conversation involved her ear canal. Enough said.) Bethenny Frankel to Join The View?!

Bethenny Frankel’s talk show was canceled back in February, and the former Real Housewife claimed she was happy it was over, as she felt “diluted” and “constricted” by the daytime chat format. Well, apparently she felt even more diluted and constricted by not getting a paycheck, because new reports indicate that Bethenny is in “serious talks” to join the long-running panel discussion show “The View.” “The View is looking for someone to spice up the show,” a source tells VH1. “Someone with lots of opinions and a big personality and Bethenny is at the top of the list.” As an opinionated, highly vocal co-host with a reality TV background, Frankel would make an ideal replacement for former Survivor contestant Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck left The View last year for a gig at Fox News. Of course, Bethenny may want to wait until things settle down a bit in her personal life before she makes any major professional commitments. Recently, Frankel settled her custody battle with Jason Hoppy after a long, bitter dispute that damaged the reputations of both parties. While Frankel has yet to make any official announcement, a source says that she’s, “very interested in getting back to TV,” adding: “It is the only job she knows.
