Source: AFP Contributor / Getty Kenneth “Zoo” Petty Has January Court Appearance Nicki Minaj’s new boyfriend hasn’t seen the last of his legal troubles . According to a report from Page Six , Kenneth “Zoo” Petty is due back in New York’s Nassau County court next month for driving with a suspended license. Reportedly, Mr. Petty was busted after blowing a stop sign on November 11th of this year. Zoo was hit with a misdemeanor charge for operating an unlicensed vehicle along with infractions for failing to stop at the sign and driving with a suspended or revoked license. He is scheduled to appear in Nassau County court again on Jan. 8. Previously, fans dug up Petty’s record. In 1995, Petty was popped for sex assault against a 16-year-old girl. He was also 16 years old at the time and was promptly  listed as a registered sex offender.  He was sentenced to 18-54 months in prison. Petty later spent seven years behind bars for fatally shooting a man, Lamont Robinson, in Queens in 2002. Despite his legal troubles, Zoo seems to be enjoying the Barb life with Nicki M. Family Sues Direct TV For Hiring Registered Sex Offender Cable giant Direct TV is facing a lawsuit from a family who is livid that the company hired a registered sex offender who ended up taking photos of their 12-year-old daughter during an installation service visit. via Huffington Post A Dallas family has sued satellite television provider DirecTV after a man making a service call at their home was found to be a registered sex offender who took photos of their 12-year-old daughter, their lawyer said on Friday. DirecTV said the man had absolutely no affiliation with the company and was brought to the house by a contractor, who has since been fired for violating company policy, spokeswoman Jade Ekstedt said in an email. Wahren Scott Massey, 48, was arrested as a result of the August 2012 incident. Massey pleaded guilty in October to attempted indecency with a child and attempted sexual performance of a child for the pictures he took of the girl. He was sentenced to four years in prison, according to legal documents. The family said in court documents Massey went into a room where their daughter, who was 12 at the time, was alone. The daughter, who is a gymnast, was stretching and said Massey asked to take photos of her on his cell phone with her legs in the air, according to the police report. When Massey left the room, the victim told her mother, who called police. Officers performed a background check on Massey, discovered he had been a registered sex offender in Texas since 1998, and issued a criminal trespass warning. This perv should be ashamed. SMH. SMH Sex Offender Charged With Murder Of Three Ohio Women The man said to be responsible for the senseless murder of three missing Ohio women whose dead bodies were found wrapped in plastic bags in various desolate areas will have his day in court sooner than later. via Chicago Tribune An Ohio man suspected of killing three women whose bodies were found wrapped in plastic bags was arraigned on Monday on three counts of aggravated murder and three counts of kidnapping. Michael Madison, 35, a registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to attempted r*pe in 2002, was ordered held in lieu of $6 million bail. Madison was arrested during the weekend after authorities found the three bodies near the apartment building where he lived. Neighbors’ complaints of a pungent smell triggered the search. The bodies, two of which were found by cadaver-smelling dogs, were located in a garage, the basement of a building and in a weeded lot nearby. Hopefully this sicko will be brought to justice and the families of these women will receive some closure.

Acclaimed Cinematographer Adam Kimmel Arrested

The beleaguered Moneyball is going to need a new cinematographer, as its DP Adam Kimmel was arrested last week on charges he sexually assaulted a child in Connecticut. Kimmel (whose credits include Capote , the Spike Jonze short I’m Here , and the upcoming Never Let Me Go ) was already a registered sex offender in New York, and since his Thursday arrest, a sweep of his house brought further charges of criminal possession of a firearm and the illegal possession of explosives and fireworks. Homeless advocates and county officials intend to move a group of registered sex offenders living under a bridge to private housing this week amid growing criticism – and lawsuits – over the county's ordinance that they must live at least 2,500 feet from places where children gather. But some offenders are reluctant to move, saying that being told where to live, and with whom, is similar to the prison terms they have already served
