Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley have a reason to celebrate today: In Touch Weekly reports the couple is engaged! “She proposed to him on top of the AT&T building in LA,” an insider tells the tabloid, adding that it was a surprise and, of course, the proposal will be televised. “She had him flown up there via helicopter for the dramatic proposal.” The Real Housewives of Orange County has been dating Smiley for four years, and their relationship has been chronicled in detail in the Bravo reality series. Rossi was previously wed to Chris Ross. They divorced in 2007 and then she got engaged to Jeff Beitzel, who died of cancer in 2008. Smily was previously engaged to Jo De La Rosa, but broke it off five years ago.

Kristen Stewart has a reason to celebrate today, and we aren’t referring to what appears to be a healthy relationship with Robert Pattinson . The actress is now 23 years old! Stewart most recently starred in On the Road and has reportedly signed on to reprise her role in a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel , although Rupert Sanders will not be behind the camera for it. Of far more important to her fans, however, Stewart appears to have righted what was once a sinking ship with Pattinson. The actor returned late last month from Australia and has been spotted out and about since with his long-term girlfriend. She’s working very hard to save the relationship . Somaya Reece Disses Love And Hip Hop Cast And Show Former Love & Hip Hop NY cast member Somaya Reece has randomly decided to speak up about her less-than-favorable experience on the show. In a recent interview with Power 95.3 radio in Orlando, Somaya took every opportunity to air out the new cast, crew and everyone in between. Check out a few excerpts below: On her life since leaving Love And Hip Hop: “I’m doing much better without the show. The best thing I did was separate myself from that show. Love and Hip Hop is not about elevation in a positive light [so] it’s not going to help me. I’m very grateful that I had the platform because I got what I could out of it. Regardless of what they did to me and how they decided not to follow positive story lines, I’m still greatful for it because I still got out of it what I needed it to. No matter what new cast that they get….the show…because of me and Chrissy and Jim Jones big fight and everything that was going on, that’s the reason why this entire brand exists. They would not exist if it wasn’t for the original cast members.” On Erica Mena bringing her up on the show: “They have no storyline with out me. We’ll just call her the c*caine user….you know, the cr*ckhead. That’s what they say on the show, I’m not saying anything different that hasn’t been said. The paid pr*stitute, industry pr*stitute. The girl keeps saying “I aint worried about her” but yet she keeps talking about me. I personally have no enemies. I have never had enemies, even when I was in gangs. People really didn’t know me that well to be an enemy, until I came on Love and Hip Hop. Love and Hip Hop breeds anger, hatred, and a bad depiction of Latin women and colored women in general.” On Joe Budden: “He’s [been] so thirsty to be on that show since season 1. Speaking to Us Weekly at a fashion conference on Thursday, Drew Barrymore made some comments that may land her in trouble with feminists around the country. Since giving birth to daughter Olive last September, the actress said she has had to give up “so much” in her professional life in order to be a mother. “You know that you’re going to miss out on your child’s upbringing or you realize that your relationship is going to suffer if you work night and day and weekends,” Barrymore said . Barrymore has no regrets about movies she’s passed on or projects she cannot produce, saying one gets “instinctual” regarding the balance of one’s career and one’s family life. But she disagrees with females who claim it’s plausible to take good care of a child and succeed at the top of the business game. “Unfortunately, I was raised in this like generation of like, ‘Women can have it all,’ and I don’t think you can. I think some things fall off the table.” “The good news is, what does stay on the table becomes much more important.” So don’t look for Barrymore to get behind the camera as a director any time soon. But do look for her to read to her daughter each and every night.
