They had a good, adorable run, but it’s all over for Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts. Source confirm to Us Weekly that the couple – who went public in July of 2011 – has split, as the Scream 4 star attended this weekend’s Sundance Film Festival on her own. “They’re both young kids, they had crushes on each other but the relationship ran its course,” an insider simply says . “She isn’t and wasn’t looking for a serious thing.” Another insider adds that the Glee star was “such a good boyfriend,” which at least bodes well for his next relationship. First Trespassing single is ‘about the relationship you have with yourself, between your dark and light side.’ By John Mitchell, with reporting by Kelly Marino Adam Lambert Photo: MTV News Adam Lambert has come a long way since “American Idol” and is taking a reflective look back with his new single, “Better Than I Know Myself.” The pop star, who turns 30 on Sunday, tells MTV News that the first release from his forthcoming sophomore album, Trespassing, is “about the relationship you have with yourself, between your dark and light side. It’s about duality; it’s about that balance and finding it and struggling to maintain it and what it means.” It’s been a tumultuous few weeks for the singer, who was arrested in Finland in late December after a verbal argument with his boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, outside of a Helsinki bar turned physical. Lambert later admitted to Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her show last week that alcohol was the main catalyst for the altercation, telling the host, “When you add alcohol to a situation, things can get out of control. … What happened was, we had too much to drink. We screwed up. There was no injuries, no violence. It was more just childish, foolish messiness.” With the March 20 release of Trespassing nearing, Lambert’s focus has returned to his music and his new single. “It’s so universal,” Lambert tells MTV News. “It’s … in the middle of a bunch of different genres, and I think that no matter who you are, if you’ve been in a relationship, you know what that is.” Lambert collaborated on the track with Dr. Luke (Britney Spears, Katy Perry) and songwriter Claude Kelly, who co-wrote his debut single, “For Your Entertainment.” He admitted “Better” has a lot in common with his Pink-written top 10 smash “Whataya Want From Me,” saying, “There is something similar to “Whataya Want From Me,” and I think that’s the reason I’m really glad it’s the first single.” He also revealed that the upcoming video for the track is “like a cousin” to the “Whataya Want” clip. Lambert said the song deals with the insecurities that come with being in a relationship. “[It’s about] that moment where you’re like, ‘I need you, I love you,’ where you have to reassure your partner,” adding, “No matter what kind of relationship, everybody can relate to that moment.” Related Artists Adam Lambert

One celebrity watcher weighs in on the actress’ latest personal woes. By Jocelyn Vena Demi Moore in September Photo: Jason Kempin/Getty Images As more details about Demi Moore’s recent hospitalization emerge, celebrity watchers are getting an inside look at the actress’ personal life since her split with Ashton Kutcher in November. While some revelations may seem too personal, one expert told MTV News this sort of nothing’s-off-limits coverage comes with the territory. “When you’re a celebrity, it’s open season for the press to scrutinize every aspect of your life, specifically your personal life. Most celebrities are used to being under the microscope like this, but when the scrutiny involves their personal relationships, especially a split, everything is magnified,” celebrity magazine editor David Caplan told MTV News on Friday, just as the 911 call from the night of her health scare hit the Web. “The scrutiny, the press coverage … can be very stressful for a celebrity, because the majority of the information being disseminated about the relationship and the split in the press is often highly critical of the celebrity,” he added. When one bit of bad news — like a divorce or substance abuse — comes to light, the media has a field day trying to uncover even more dirt. “As the press seeks to explain why the split occurred, skeletons in a stars’ closet are revealed, and demons are revealed. In the case of Demi and Ashton , she was basically humiliated since it came to light that Ashton was blatantly cheating on Demi, with younger women, making Demi look like she was manipulated in the relationship — let alone reports claiming they had an open marriage,” Caplan said. “Once this was revealed, the floodgates were open and stories emerged of Demi’s alleged low self-esteem, how her partying put strain on the marriage and other aspects about her life. Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans gets in almost as much legal trouble as DMX. Yet the North Carolina malcontent insists she’s the victim of spiteful law enforcement officials. Evans, who was involved in a melee with her roommates on last night’s Teen Mom 2 (below), was arrested twice LAST WEEK after a fight she had with her roommates. Different roommates: Hannah Inman and former boss James Duffy. If nothing else, you can count on Jenelle Evans not to sugarcoat anything. In an interview with E! News, she set the record sort-of straight about her recent woes. Jenelle Evans Fights Roommate on Teen Mom 2 “I actually am confused about the arrest from last week,” Evans said. “I haven’t contacted Hannah or Duffy in a month, and I was the first to press charges.” “I think they are trying to charge me with things out of spite . “Hannah does not own a cell phone either so there’s no way I could of harassed her with phone calls. I never threatened Hannah. I guess she claims I’m a threat.” “All that does, it just makes me laugh, because I moved 45 minutes away from her three weeks ago to get away from the drama and be closer to school.” Jenelle’s second arrest came, according to Duffy, when Evans refused to take down a naked picture of Hannah on Facebook, violating a protective order. “I didn’t post any naked picture of Hannah. I have four admins on my Facebook. One of them must’ve posted it. I didn’t even know it was posted,” Jenelle says. “After I got arrested, I searched for it and deleted it. I really don’t understand any of these charges. Duffy is using Hannah to his advantage, I believe. He is forcing her to do this. It’s a known fact, or else she will be on the streets.” Her relationship with Duffy has weighed heavily on her health. “I have to go back to the psychiatrist; I feel like I’m about to have a nervous breakdown. It’s constant harassment, arresting me for petty things. That’s why my probation officer hasn’t violated me for probation. She knows it’s not my fault.” Evans, who is on probation for the ass-whomping she unleashed on Britany Truett last summer (below), also claims that Duffy has cyber-stalked her. Jenelle Evans Beating Up Girl “Duffy is also jealous of my manager and mad that Hannah won’t give it up to him,” Jenelle continues. “This is very disturbing to me, because she is only 19 and he is 46. I wish she would see how dangerous he is and move out.” Everything else in Jenelle’s life seems to be pretty good at least. She doesn’t “talk to Kieffer at all,” and is very happy with her new boyfriend, Gary Head , who “doesn’t mind about my legal troubles because he knows they are false and he sees me climbing higher and higher.” Umm, sure. Jenelle also says she is staying focused in school, practicing the medical field and sees her son Jace “every second I can.” Yeah right. As far as her relationship with her mother, Barbara, she says simply, “As long as I don’t live with my mom then we get along.” Now that we believe her on.
