Muslim Woman Sues Planet Fitness For Refusing To Let Her Work Out In Headdress A Muslim woman is pursuing her lawsuit against Planet Fitness after she says the refused to allow her to workout in a religious head covering. via News One Tarainia McDaniel (pictured), recently filed a lawsuit against a Planet Fitness in New Mexico over an incident that occurred in October 2011, claiming that the gym wouldn’t allow her to wear her religious head covering when she tried to work out, reports Albuquerque Journal. According to the 37-year-old Albuquerque resident, she signed a two-year contract with the New Hampshire-based business at one location where she was never given a problem about wearing her Muslim head covering. When McDaniel transferred her membership to another Planet Fitness location, though, she was allegedly told that her religious head covering was not allowed because it was against the gym’s dress code, according to the lawsuit. However, the gym in question did display a sign that read, “No jeans, work boots, bandannas, skull caps, or revealing apparel.” McDaniel alleges in her complaint that she asked the gym’s representatives if she could wear her head covering to accommodate her faith and even asked if she could instead wear a hijab, a more formal piece that covers the head and chest. McDaniel claims that her requests were flatly denied and told that the head coverings were direct violations of the strict gym dress codes. Planet Fitness’ attorney, Erika Anderson ,defends her client’s position regarding the case, telling Albuquerque Journal, “My client’s position is that they didn’t know the head covering was for religious purposes. It violated their dress code policy. But the New Mexico Human Rights Act and the Unfair Practices Act states that Planet Fitness had no legal right to deny McDaniel entry on to its facility while wearing her religious head covering. This is for Harper’s Bazaar Spain….and I feel like a few of these bathing suit pics don’t quite hit the mark. I mean 4 year old girls building sand castles at the beach show more skin…this is some “We’re moms in our 30s and can’t look like sluts with the other moms at our babies swim class” look…you know or it is like some orthodox christian, jewish or muslim, friendly bathing suits, because even they have to swim sometimes… Speaking of Religious women, when walking the dog, I saw a young Rabbi and his religious wife, who was wearing the wig, and skirt down to past her knees, in a little AMISH style collared shirt, looking relatively wholesome, so I stared at her tits, then back at her, and winked, to remind her what being a woman is all about, and that’s turning me the fuck on…even when you’re in it for God, wholesome as shit, I know deep down, there lives a slut…there always does… The good news with this shoot is that Harper’s Bazaar, got a little more european, and put her in a little less clothes, even if it’s not quite European enough for this pervert, I can always find a way to make it work.

Andrés Vásquez and Felipe Cárdenas have come under fire for their all-male manger – where the baby Jesus has two father Josephs and the Virgin Mary is nowhere to be seen. The country’s Catholic Church has labeled the display, in the northern city of Cartagena, as “sacrilege.” And thousands of Colombians have taken to social networking sites to slam the pair, with many saying they show “a lack of respect to God and all Christians.” A Facebook user added, “As much as I support gay rights, this is just stupid on so many levels. If you are a Catholic you have to accept Jesus’ parents were Mary and Joseph.” Guys, it’s MARY and Joseph, not LARRY and Joesph! Political analyst Vásquez and entrepreneur Felipe have been together for four years and were united by a civil union, the closest thing to marriage for homosexuals in Colombia, three months ago. The gay rights activists told the Diario Veloz website that they set up the scene, a picture of which was then posted on Facebook, in the hope that it would help in bringing about reform in the country’s gay marriage laws. A bill to legalize gay marriage is currently being looked at by the country’s politicians and has passed the first of four debates. But it has been dubbed as “unconstitutional” by the nation’s conservative lawmakers. Vásquez told the website: ‘We did it because we believe in Colombia. We have lived in different cities in the world and we prefer to return to our country. “We are beginning to build [a better country] through our new union,” he said. Ok fine, you want gay rights. Great, but how the HELL is THIS supposed to help that cause? You think folks will be MORE inclined to vote for gay marriage when you insult their religious beliefs with crap like this??
